I called and was told it was $2.50 per pound. When picking up my receipt and it says $17.50. Minimum purchase order $17.50. I probably bought in 3 pounds of clothes in assuming I'd be charged around $7.50-$10. Nothing was sad when I dropped my tiny bag of laundry off. This person could've added a little bit of value to their business seeing I was a new customer by telling me there's a minimum charge order price when I brought in a tiny bag of clothing. When I picked my clothes up on Sunday at noon, the young lady was pretty blah. She told me $17.50. I was surprised, but I gave her a $ 20 and said you can keep the change. She replied "do you want to receipt?" I said "sure and thank you." And then just silence... grab my laundry and walked out. How difficult is your job? Needed to do laundry while traveling and went here. Very clean. Great customer service. All sizes of washers and prices vary, washers are very expensive but if you're in a pinch it works great. Dryers are huge and can dry almost any load in 20 minutes. Centrally located next to a bakery, liquor store and Del Monte Shipping center. read more

So we were out of town on a long trip and needed some laundry done. Never used a laundry service like this before. Everything is done by prepaid and unless you know what you're doing you might get a little confused. Well to our surprise, the girls working there on a Sunday morning at 11 o'clock in the morning took the time to run the laundry for us and then we were able to fold our own and put it away and it was still under $15. can you say great service? !!! how do you recommend this place? It's located in the corner and a little shopping center in Pacific Grove but well worth the drive not only because it saves on cost but also because the service that the people they provide. Might be the best laundromat I've ever used. Welcoming and helpful staff set the laundromat apart from others. They typically have a few machines out of service, but the service from the staff offsets this and makes it our first choice in the area. They have a variety of sizes of washers and two sizes of dryers. They use a card system for payment. Easy to use and if you're a visitor the staff will bypass it - just ask. While on vacation in Carmel, I needed to do some laundry. I found Sudz Cyber Laundry in Pacific Grove. The location was easy to get to. The ladies helped me to choose the appropriate size washer and dryer. It would have saved me a couple of bucks to do it without their help, but I thought the assistance was well worth the price. (Washing and drying a full load plus tip cost $8.) I brought my own laundry pod to use for washing. There were comfortable places to sit and a bathroom. I was in an out in a little over an hour. This is BY FAR the best laundromat I've been to in my 69 years! It's a bit far (15 minutes) from my hotel in Monterey but in a beautiful area. Clean, well maintained, and there is staff on hand who take care of you. I used one large machine and they start it for you, recommended the size based on my bag of clothes, and when all is done you pay for the wash and dry. My total came to $12.00 which was really two normal size loads and the drying for 43 minutes and detergent. There is a nail salon next door so after my wash was in I hopped over and got a mani-pedi. Timed the drying and ran out to fold my clothes and go ba k for the manicure. You can leave your clothes there as it's completely safe. It's a wash n dry so they are folding other customers clothing and will watch yours. Highly recommend. read more

Great place to wash big loads. Son moved into town and all the bedding needed cleaning. They have small, medium, and large washers and they do a great job. Dryers as well. Super clean and I was able to get a walk in while things were drying. Really helpful staff as well. read more

It's laundry. It's clean! I don't currently have laundry facilities in my apartment or complex that work appropriately so to the laundromat I must go. And after trying out various laundromats I drive to Pacific Grove to do my laundry. This spot is clean and most of the machines work. If it is broken, there is clearly signage so you don't waste money on a broken machine. The bathroom is clean too. Cool music and or shows are always on and the WiFi is awesome. There is a tea/coffee station. Very cool. All you need to do is make a small donation. I've never had a problem finding public street parking. They now offer a transfer service if you want to leave, which is, they'll move your laundry from the washer to a dryer. And of course there is the fluff and fold. I do my own laundry. We were in the area driving the PCH and needed to do laundry. This one is very clean and the staff there very helpful!! You can drop off in morning and let them do it for you same day. We didn't know that ahead of time so were there later in the day and just did it ourselves and saved a little money. Very large machines for large loads. Quick wash and dry. Big Thank You to Loni the owner of Sudz, she is such a wonderful human, and has done such an amazing job creating a beacon in community where people can wash their clothes in a friendly environment. We live in Big Sur, and highly encourage anyone traveling into town to stop by when you're catching up on laundry. I absolutely love this location, It's by far the best laundromat in the Monterey peninsula. I feel like I can attest, becauseI've been to them all. There is always positives vibes with the staff and great community of patrons. The manger Trina is so awesome, and has been incredibly friendly and helpful every time we visit. They offer a prepaid card system so you are not required to use quarters. They feature local artist and have a very clean and well run establishment. They have free WiFi and book and magazines to read. There is also great cafes and stores in walking distance. The day I met Loni I was having a tough morning, and she went out of her way to welcome me, and offered to help integrate me into a very busy laundromat. Her kindness and generosity reminded me of just how much you can positively affect people by trying to connect with the people you interact with throughout your day. Watching her personally touch all her customers, knowing them on a first name basis, asking about their day and offering assistance, gave me the impression that this much more than a business, but truly a passion project for her. Believe the hype! Despite a name that's straight out of the 90's, you will be taken care of at Sudz Cyber Laundry. I walked in, bedraggled and exhausted as I embarked on my second straight week of work travel without a weekend break. I must have looked it, too. They were out of "drop off" spots for the next two days, but sensing my urgency, they graciously agreed to watch my machine and transfer my clothes to the dryer, freeing me to get a coffee and recharge at the local Bookworks. I have been doing my laundry here for over 5 years now and have really enjoyed it. Laundromats are not always a fun place, but they do a good job here to keep laundry not so dreadful, but here recently, it has been changing. They do laundry services for MANY vacation rental places in PG/monterey and it seems like they're just saying "yes" to every place now and it's getting ridiculous. There are bags upon bags of laundry from places all over the machines. It is hard to get a machine or a place to fold laundry anymore because the poor staff is constantly having to wash and fold for these vacation rental places and other travelers that are visiting the area. The place used to look neat & tidy and now it's just chaotic to look at and the bags are in the way of regular people like me that just need a place to do their laundry. The prices went up here about 9 months ago and it seems along with that the condition of the place has declined. It makes me sad because it really is the best place on the peninsula to do laundry, but I may have to find another place to go if this continues. I really hope this review is seen and something changes. Vacation rental places should use another laundry service and not take a place from locals to do their laundry. The staff here look stressed and overworked now too. I think they need a break from the insanity as well. read more

Great place to do or take your laundry! I came across Sudz looking for a place to have my down comforter washed. Victoria was very helpful and answered all my questions beforehand. When I dropped off the comforter I liked how clean and energetic the Laundromat portion was. It made me decide to just lug my laundry out to town so I can use the cleaner larger machines. What a great idea! So many friendly people come through the laundromat, the staff is very helpful and the machines are clean. No drippy or caked on detergents! We've been twice and each time I am blown away by the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I generally have kids that accompany me but there's free wifi and tables and chairs and a bathroom. Plus coffee and tea. So it goes quick and pain free. All of the employees are incredibly kind. Midway through our 2 week vacation, my wife and I needed to wash our clothes so I checked Yelp and discovered one glowing review after another of this laundromat. On entering we were impressed by the cleanliness of the interior and the fact that all but one of the machines were in working order unlike some laundromats we have used in the past. We were not familiar with the card system so the cheerful attendant took us under wing and pretty much walked us through each stage of the process including putting detergent into our machine. I was amazed at how little it cost to wash and dry our clothes so I included a 50% gratuity. Should we return to the area, we will likely use their wash and fold services since their pricing is also more than reasonable. One additional note, credit cards are accepted. read more

What a find. Great service, sparkling clean machines, folding tables and places to sit and read, knit, charge your phone etc. you don't need to worry about quarters here too! They set you up by key card on the machine you select. You wash everything from clothes to blankets to pet towels (separate machines designated for these). This is the best laundry mat ever! Everything is clean and well maintained. There are big screen TVs and...wait for it...Free High Speed Wifi! The staff is awesome! Victoria and Trina are the friendliest, most helpful people. And they seem to know everything about cleaning laundry too! Whenever I go to them with a laundry question they always have an easy solution. Free coffee and tea, current books and magazines to peruse. I enjoy the seasonal decorations that cover the laundry mat every holiday (staff even wears costumes on Halloween). This is a very safe facility. I have forgotten laundry by mistake.
