Was standing in the checkout line and heard the employee ask the guy in front of me if he was an NCGA member. Apparently there's a discount if you're part of the store's rewards program and have an NCGA membership. When it was my turn I asked if I could get the discount as well. I was asked to show my membership via the app, which I did. I asked why nobody ever asked me or brought up the NCGA discount upon my last dozen purchases. He told me that it is detailed in the emails I receive. I'm going to say that PGA Super Store employees are discouraged from asking people if they are part of the rewards program and have an NCGA membership so they don't have to give the discount. I feel horrible writing this review First off, I want to say the store manager is absolutely phenomenal. He stayed late just to regroup my clubs for me. He re glued a broken shaft on my club because I said I had a round tomorrow and went above and beyond. Honestly a tremendous guy. As far as the fitting went..... Eugene is one of the rudest ppl I've ever met. First off, I came with my dad a few months ago. I don't know what gave him the right to speak to my dad so rudely, but it definitely pissed me off. My dad asked for some help picking a club out, and he literally scoffed at him and said "Well, which irons you want? Do you have any idea? I can't help you if you don't know what you want. Take a look around and come to the simulator" My dad doesn't take any shit, he just brought 4 different full iron sets to the sim and tried em. He was so pissed, he didn't even want to buy. He got a feel for what he wanted and bought something from Roger Dunn and never came back here. Fast forward to today (fully forgot about the above interaction until after I started speaking to him) I went to him and I said I want to do an iron club fitting. He asked, "What brand?" I said honestly I don't know. I just want to use what's best for me and told him I've only ever played with senior flex Mizunos (my grandfathers) and would love to try some clubs out and see which one I'm most comfortable with. This dude rolled his eyes, slapped his hand down on the counter and said "Well how can I even help you if I don't know what you want? When you walk in to a car dealership, don't you know what car you want? What brand are you leaning towards? What even brings you here?" Bro... what?? Most people who go to buy a car go test drive the car before they drive it, right? Also, it completely depends on your budget... which it did for me. On top of all this, he didn't even help with the fitting, it was just me alone for 15 mins figuring it out on my own. Didn't provide any feedback, input, or help at all. Ended up getting a Callaway iron set for a steal and had a fantastic interaction with the rest of the staff. Long story short, Eugene is a mean as hell. I spoke with Adam (manager) regarding a return exception situation, and he truly went above and beyond to help me. He made the entire process easy and stress-free -- I never once felt like I was an inconvenience, which says a lot about his professionalism and customer-first attitude. After receiving my store credit, Adam mentioned that they had just received the new TM Qi4D drivers for demo and preorder. That was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. I headed to the demo bay where Eugene and Jacob took great care of me. Both were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient. There was absolutely no pressure to buy -- just genuine, helpful fitting advice. I ended up pre-ordering the core model, and Jacob also helped me dial in the right LAB putter afterward. This store consistently makes me feel welcomed, and the customer service is always phenomenal. Be cautious about getting a full set re-gripped. I had 4 out of 12 clubs misaligned and I had to get them re-done. They fixed the problem right away, but I think it's very careless for a golf shop to do something like that. 1 or 2 clubs seem acceptable, but 4 is a little too much. It makes me feel like the installers didn't care. Some of the other clubs looked slightly off but I just decided to leave it as is or else they would have to redo them all. I also asked if they could save the older grips because they were practically new, and they told me yes. They ended up not saving any. If I knew they couldn't save it I would've went to golf mart. That's 12 perfectly good grips wasted. The whole experience made me question the people working on our clubs. read more

Only location with a 9 degree Ai Smoke Max D driver since Callaway had to cancel my order due to sold out shaft and driver head. Luckily this location had it on hand and made an order for pickup. Drove 1 hour from SF to get there but my order was ready before hand. Thank you to the online order pick team for fulfilling my order so quickly. Picked up another fairway wood club I was fitted for too, the new Qi35 5wood in a 6s. The cashier was nice and friendly and got me checked out quickly. The store was clean and organized and everything I expected from products to employees. An employee also asked me nicely if I was interested in hitting any demos there was someone available at a bay for me to check it out. Great customer awareness and service. read more

I've been to the superstore many times and honestly, the team here have always been friendly knowledgeable with me. Twice I've had club fitting sessions with Josiah Rasmussen. What a pro! He's got my driver clicking right now on the fairway these days, his chill personality and high technical expertise cannot be measured. The range of equipment is immense, they even have gently used clubs for those not wanting to spend premium price. They allow you to get in the simulator to try out a club before you purchase it, which is extremely helpful. Fair pricing and also join the club and you get other discounts. read more

I feel bad for leaving this review but long story short - Did one lesson with Phil King, my swing somewhat improved but cried in my car after all the mean things he said to me. I'm not a sensitive person, I can take jokes but he said very unkind things. I am not trying to get him in trouble as he probably is a great instructor but this is a heads up to women / girls that may see him on their own. During my lesson, he was getting frustrated with me because I didn't know a lot of the terminology he was using as I'm only a year into golf. Anyway, he asked me, "Do you have your degree?" -- implying i'm dumb. Told me, "You should never have kids" TWICE -- I didn't respond the first time, the second time I asked why? And he didn't explain. Then proceeded to bag on the city I'm living in because it's crime-infested and not as fabulous as his 7,000 acre land in Livermore. He asked me my name, and he looked at me astonished and says "I'm not even gonna get started" Maybe he was joking -- Either way, I left the lesson feeling like shit. At first I thought I was being sensitive to his banter, but I realized he likely would not talk to me like this if my boyfriend was there. Grateful for his tips & dedication to me improving but not thrilled about paying someone to bully me for an hour. read more

My 25-year-old 5 Wood broke recently so I decided to drive out to Dublin to check out the PGA Superstore. Upon entering I was impressed with how large the store was. Given that I'm not a skilled golfer I mostly browsed the discount and used club section for my replacement. I asked the sales person for his thoughts on 5 Woods vs 3 Hybrids and he had some good advice for me. He set me up on one of the testing stations so I spent about 15 minutes testing out the clubs until I found a comfort level with the 5 Wood. I couldn't hit a hybrid well but after some time the wood felt pretty natural for me. After choosing the club I browsed the extensive golf ball section and bought a box of nice balls. P.S. I'm happy to report that I've been using the 5 Wood at Corica Park and it's been my most consistent (maybe my only consistent) club since. read more

After trying the club that I originally picked, Robert (if I remember correctly) suggested a few other options that might work better for me. I'm a newbie and he was very patient. This store is fantastic! While I initially visited to purchase a tennis racket for my son (surprisingly difficult to find tennis stores in-person nowadays), we ended up discovering much more. The prices for polos and golf pants are very reasonable, leading to an unexpected $200 clothing purchase. Haha! I recently tested the PGA Tour clothes during a Cancun trip and was impressed with their breathability and comfort. The store has become our go-to destination for smart casual sports attire. Golf is a very personal, emotional and mentally taxing game. It will enrage you and enliven you at the same time. There's so many things that you have to deal with, with this sport. Which is why its critical to me, when I am looking for help, support and guidance, you find the right people at places like this. I've been in a lot recently, probably too much TBH. Everyone that works there has been helpful, and in particular, Jake (club fitting) and Griffin (everything else) have been amazing to deal with. When my driver had an issue in construction, they helped, when I wanted an exchange, they helped, when I brought my son in (who's just getting going in the sport) they were friendly and supportive. This store opened a few weeks ago in Dublin. It's right off the Hacienda exit on HWY 580 The only PGA TOUR before this is the one in Palo Alto. Parking is abundant and should have no problem. Once you enter the store, you'll be welcomed with this enormous putting area. On the left side, is a section with varieties of gloves. You'll be amazed at how many kinds of gloves there are on the market. Walking further, you'll see a section of hats. Again, different sizes and brands are displayed. I ended up purchasing a Tiger Woods hat. We came across a section on hitting bays wherein people can get lessons. It has computerized swing speed analysis, ball speed, and launch monitor. If you're buying a new club, they also have several bays where you can try hitting them and check then with their launch monitor. Whether it's a driver, woods, hybrid, and irons, Left or right handed, you'll have an opportunity to check them before purchasing them. The section for golf clubs is separated and you can purchase them individually or as a set. They also have a section of pre-owned drivers, hybrids, and wedges. You just have to check them since we noticed a few that have been used constantly with scratches and blemishes on them. They have a section for golf bags and Sunday bags also. If you want shirts, pants, vests, winter shirts, and other golf accessories, they also have a section for these items. Golf shoes! There are several of them and they carry several sizes. Whether you like spike less or with spike, the choices are enormous. Of course, they also have a section for ladies. Equipment and clothing for women are not a problem in this store. They have several kinds of golf balls and golf grips can be purchased with a fee for installation. At the back of the store, you'll see a section for tennis, both equipment and apparel. They also have a section for those players who play pickleball. They have rackets, balls, and other items for pickleball aficionados. For tennis and pickleball players, this store also caters to them even though it's a PGA Tour Store. I didn't ask but I think they have a section to repair or replace shafts for your golf clubs. Compare to size, this store has the same size as their Palo Alto outlet. The staff and employees are very courteous and assisted us when we used their hitting bay. This place is more convenient to me distance-wise to my home and was glad they opened a store in Dublin. read more

They are full service with a lot of options. They offer a few free clinics as well. I'm always impressed by the friendly atmosphere for such a large store. Just purchased new golf clubs and golf shirts, paid for it and we started driving home. I asked my husband if I could look at the receipt. We only had the order confirmation receipt for the clubs but the price doesn't show the sale price. We turned around and went back to the store. The lady that helped us went back and forth to check the price and still doesn't come up with the correct sale price. I told my husband to go with her for her to understand why or maybe go to the guy/salesperson that originally helped us. Finally, we patiently helped solved the issue and got a refund credited $156.56 returned to our credit card. The inconvenience of dealing with a not knowing your product or not knowledgeable salesperson plus no apology with our inconvenience. She just looks at you like you have inconvenience her instead. I rate this customer service as "very poor". Must be a tough day for her. Not a happy person to be selling golf clubs. It must be tough to make someone happy to exchange an inconvenience that a salesperson have caused. Lesson learned, always look at your receipt before leaving the store! The customer service was top-notch at the PGA Superstore! The store is very clean with a huge selection of golf clothes and products, including sale and pre-owned sections. We only intended to try out a single driver and iron at the demo bay, but the associate was great about offering advice and suggesting different clubs based on (stats from) our swing. Two other associates even gave recommendations based on our price point, and all of them were very friendly yet professional throughout the process. Without their input, we would've just stuck with the first clubs we tried. Thanks to their willingness to help, we came out with a better idea of what was suitable for our skill level and considerations for potential clubs, including the right golf shaft. I would like to start this off by saying that Eugene, bald man with a silver goatee needs to work on his customer service. I am not 100% sure on his name, but he isn't welcoming. About a month ago, I regripped an old club I had and wanted to test it out on the practice bay. He made a small joke/insult about the old club and asked if I wanted to test another product out. Every visit, he always had something smart to say. There is a fine line between a good joke and an insult. I thought I might have been being dramatic, but my buddies noticed the same things. My buddy that barely got in to golf, felt the need to stop hitting the ball because he felt as if he was being judged after his first encounter with Eugene. I have a handful of experiences with him, even more if I wanted to include the small comments he had said to other customers. Some of the things he says can be pretty funny & are actually meant to be jokes, but as a "professional" instead of saying insults disguised as jokes, why not educate? There are a lot of beginner golfers who would prefer the help and boost of confidence. Giving the PGA store as a whole 5 stars. The majority of the staff is wonderful. Super friendly and want you to enjoy your experience, especially the people in the front end. The store is stocked with everything you need, even preowned goodies. Both times I've been dealt a royal flush with the very personal and informative assistance of the staff members who worked with me. today it was Jacob, a seasoned pro who only sought to satisfy my needs without pressure. not only did he make some important club suggestion, he also made an observation (at MY request) about my swing. On 5/13/23, my son and I went to this Dublin store to get fitted for a set of irons. An associate (Ryann) started to help my son get fitted by providing the Paradym iron and two other brands for comparison. Later during the fitting session the assistant manager (Kip) came into the hitting stall to help us too as Ryann had to help out on a scheduled chipping clinic and later she did come back checking on us to make sure the fitting was going well. Both Ryann and Kip provided excellent customer service and also provided their golf equipment expertise. They both were knowledgeable and very patient with my son who has disability. We ended up purchasing the Paradym irons. We will definitely go back to this PGA Superstore for our golf needs after experiencing such quality service. read more

This place has amazing customer service! My husband bought a very expensive pair of Adidas Golf shoes back in February and every round he played in them, his heels would get torn up so badly he'd be in pain for days after. He hoped with time, they get broken in, and he'd be able to wear them without pain. This never happened. So today, after a very painful round of golf, we decided to go into the store and just see if they'd be willing to exchange them. We really didn't think they would since it had been over a few months since the purchase, but thought it couldn't hurt to just ask. Without any hesitation (but also after seeing his very raw, blistered heels) they immediately offered to exchange them. No questions asked. Every time we have gone into the store, no matter the location, we have always had great customer service experiences. Both Palo Alto and Dublin stores have great employees, well stocked, great deals, knowledgeable golf pros. Definitely one of our favorite places to go for all our golf needs! read more
