By the next year they were falling off into the pool. Once we started asking around about him this year, turns out there are now lawsuits pending against him across Columbus. Why are we talking to other contractors? Because it turns out the entire pool deck needs to be pulled up because it wasn't laid down properly, there are areas not adhered to the concrete base. Untrustworthy and subbed out the majority of work and was rarely there to oversee things. Wonder if he regrets that now? Avoid at all costs !

I had several issues that were one after another. None of the ongoing issues were due to anything AAA did or didn't do. My hot tub is a few years older and has been moved to my current home which contributed to the issues I had along with normal wear and tear and the prior company not fixing the original problem correctly. My ongoing issues came within hours to days after the prior repairs but AAA Spa and Pool Service were always professional and responsive to me and getting my hot tub taken care of before the cold weather hit which can make fixing a hot tub outside the home difficult or almost impossible till warmer weather. Neither big box retailer could tell me much about their tubs except for price and obvious things such as 1yr warranty but they didn't know how that worked or the fine print details, or anything about their service after install etc. Notable was that they did disclose that they "neatly leave the packaging / trash for the consumer to discard"- What?! Then remembered The Place in Medina, Ohio. So glad I went this route. Rex Brown was very knowledgeable, he answered All of my questions and concerns (that no one else could and other info. that I couldn't get online). The Place has a large inventory of Hot tubs. Like most stores, big box or small retailers they have a limited amount of Plug n Play units but more than most that I went to, and they carry the BEST plug n play model on the market: The Dream Maker and at an affordable price too. The difference with The Place and Big box stores, is that The Place knows their products and stand behind them! It is a family-owned company-(buy local). They have a repair shop on sight, their own repair guys/employees (unlike big box- once you get it home - after warranty-it's on you to get it fixed). The Place also carries any accessories, like filters and chemicals that you may need for your hot tub. The transaction was GREAT from start to finish, (no gimmicks, no delays, no bait and switch). The delivery and set up was quick and very professional; they left no trace of packaging material aside from my beautiful hot tub you would never know they were there! This is only a one-star review because it can't be zero…read more These clowns came into our house to find a leak near the shower. They refused to go to any great lengths, and decided it was "probably" a hairline fracture in a certain section of pipe. Never mind that the leak wasn't constant, as a crack would have been. When he came to fix said leak, our plumber noted that dust completely covered the area on, around, and below what American Leak said was the problem. Clearly the leak was somewhere else. When we called to ask for a refund, we were denied. Constant circular arguments about semantics were more important to these jerks than being honest or fair. They care more about the money than their reputation. We'll get our money back, and it will be more painful the longer they fight it. Never, EVER, pay these jerks ANYTHING!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. If you are a plumbing company, do NOT recommend them to your customers. They will damage your credibility and reputation just as they do their own.
