Absolutely superb food and service. The wood fire steak is one of the best I have ever had. Additionally, they have a great selection of Good bourbon for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. I was so fortunate to find it. Being from Kentucky New York is not a normal destination. Luckily, Legoland brought us here. I've been throughout NY over the years. The Caesar was a novel take and featured a grilled Romain half, slices garlic French Bread, dressing and shaved Parmigiana cheese. The ambiance and theme is a clever idea but the food and service is lacking. The menu has no prices on it and when I asked the bartender they said they were on the scan code menu -nope-same exact menu as the printed one. I'm not really comfortable ordering food and wine not having any idea what I will be charged. I don't get it? We ordered a few appetizers and 2 drinks. The appetizers which didn't require cooking, tuna tartare and deviled eggs took an incredibly long time to come out. Both were fine nothing special. $50 dollar entrees yet the food is awful. This bar doesn't know what it wants to be. Half is Art Deco and half is 90s graffiti. The waiter was too busy flirting with women at the bar to pay much attention. The drinks were well prepared but overpriced. The theme of the place gets lost after the drinks. I don't know why they charge Michelin star prices for awful food. We use a lot of garlic at my house but their risotto tasted like scooping out minced garlic. My sandwich was the worst I've ever had. I took one bite and had it taken away. Still got charged for it. They don't even put the prices on their menu and they up charge crazy amounts for sides without telling you. read more

Tried this place twice just incase they had an off night, service is pretty bad, it is a really small place but somehow it's really hard to get drinks and servers seem painfully disinterested. The first time I was there I couldn't decide between 2 dishes and I asked the waiter what he thought, he was so genuinely put out by my question he couldn't even answer, just said "well one is soup and one isn't." Secondly the food is just okay, they kind of have an identity crisis because I have no idea what style food they are going for but they should pick one and make it really well. The Korean Bowl was really disappointing, no flavor at all. The drinks are fine but was expecting more from their apothecary style vibe. No prices on the menu. Food was average, goulash terrible, burgers overcooked. Service was not good, waiter mixed up everyones entree....Expensive drinks that tasted awful. On top of that they slip in the gratuity for party of 5 or more and hope you don't notice. So on top of all that, the waiter got a very very generous tip..... We used to like to frequent Pharmacy for Sunday lunch and to celebrate family special occasions. We will not be going back after this!!!! read more

I was dying to go here since I had always loved Nina in Middletown. However, it was just ok, nothing special and definitely overrated. The whole idea behind the restaurant is unique and different from other restaurants. It definitely has a vibe to it. We made reservations and had a table waiting for us, but it unfortunately took 40 minutes just to get our drinks. The waiter was attentive to that and ended up comping our drinks without us even asking or complaining. I ordered an appetizer, but he said they ran out over the weekend (we went on Sunday, so it was still the weekend?) But the food was really just ok, average at best, so I was a little disappointed (maybe my expectations were too high). Everything took over 2 hours and we only had 2 in our party. There was one waiter and one bartender, and they were definitely running around. Tables sat dirty after other guests left for quite a bit. They likely could have used another person on staff. One table got up and walked out after waiting for so long for service. Another table sent back their drink. Maybe it was just an off night for them. But for $40-$50 per meal, I don't think we will be back any time soon. read more

Came in here for Sunday lunch and it was awesome. The burgers were excellent - extra thick, juicy and home-pressed. My friends had sandwiches and they absolutely raved about the flavor and freshness of the ciabatta bread. Service was excellent (though at the time we went, it was only 1/2 full). I loved their prior restaurant in Middletown (Nina's) - so it's no surprise on the great meal. Decor is pretty cool too. Great to have an eclectic restaurant locally here in Goshen!! Side note... if you look at the negative reviews, note that the lowest ones are from people who don't leave too many reviews (or are newbies). Not saying that they don't have a valid reason for leaving bad ones but expectations need to match the current situation (new restaurant - even if owner is long time in business, the employees are not, covid times which make hiring a nightmare, and other valid reasons). read more

I went with my two young children and the staff was extremely kind and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable (including getting my daughter a fancy long ice cube when she wanted one for her water just like mama had for her fancy drink!). the food was good and the pharmacy decor was cute. I see a lot of people complaining about the pricing (and lack of it being explicitly stated on menu) but at the end of the day I would just ask if you want to know the cost before ordering. we were having a nice night out so it was worth it for me to splurge a little. the waitresses also were happy to suggest a cute local ice cream shop because i wanted to take my kids to another neat local place. This is my new favorite restaurant. They are so friendly and accommodating, but it doesn't stop there, the drinks are perfect. The mixologist has really put thought into everything served so if you come, have a cocktail, creatively named after a movie. My favorite one is the Pineapple Express, is so delicious! Let me continue with the food.. fresh oysters truffled deviled eggs and every entree I have had or my table has had was delicious. Burgers, pasta, sandwiches, Ahi tuna bowl, salmon.The flavors are spot on. Then to end the night you have to try the dessert shots with super fun names I can't remember, but so amazingly delicious. Wife and I arrived for our 6:30 reservation and were nicely greeted at the door by someone wearing a lab coat. Place was very loud and the loudness was encouraged by staff. Clearly some patrons should have been cut off at the bar. We ordered our drinks and tried to get into the atmosphere. When my drinks were made i watched as they sat 7at the end of the bar. Even someone pretending to be the manager looked at them but made no attempt to bring them to my table only 20 feet away instead he instructed our waitress which was clearly frazzled by the few tables that she had. Needless to say the service was Johnny all night long. Was not impressed with the food or the quality I had steak sandwich the meat was very tough. Sorry to say I will not be going back. I would be surprised if this place is still open by Christmas. Definitely needs New Management read more

Came here after hearing a new business opened in town and gave it a go and I was left a bit underwhelmed. Preface: We went on a Monday evening, checked the hours and saw they offered reservations. Checked the portal and saw that the whole night was available for 2 guests at the bar or for a table; unsure of when our sitter would arrive we opted out of a reservation. When we arrived, everyone inside was dressed in different colored scrubs which left me thinking we stumbled into an after work gathering of nurses. Nope, these were the waitresses and the hostess. Speaking of the hostess, she was placed at the corner of the bar with a drink in front of her, she scoffed at us when we told her we didn't have reservations when she asked. If reservations are suggested or required, perhaps note that on your website or social media; especially on a a Monday. As a nurse, I couldn't get past the ridiculous waitresses in poorly fitting scrubs. It was laughable. I get they're going for the apothecary "Pharmacy" vibe but scrubs AINT IT! Perhaps smartly dressed in slacks and a vest or ties would have added to the classic aesthetic. The random rainbow of medical scrubs is very off putting. Then the bartender is dressed in jeans a t-shirt and an oversized lab coat. Another cringe look. But you're here for food and drinks I guess, the drink menu is delightful. Many handmade creations, speakeasy like drinks with many ingredients. Being a non-drinker now, I wish they could have offered some of those intricate drinks in mocktails or NA versions as all they offer are gun sodas which is a let down. The food was the real star here: ordered clams, oysters and the shrimp appetizers. The clams were the best, the sauce of the garlic, butter, and tomatoes was amazing. I wish it would have come with some bread or toast to sop up. For mains: surf and turf burger, salmon and the fire roasted chicken for the table . All cooked to perfection and delicious. The chicken was the real standout main dish with the chimichurri all over the skin. The salmon was served with a tomato jam that I could buy by the jar if I could. We ended the dinner with a creme brûlée and a cheesecake. Both decadent and rich. The service was poor however, the waitress needed to be reminded to bring drinks, didn't check up or remove empty plates. They were quite fully staffed with 5 waitresses, 2 bartenders and a hostess with 5 tables in use. A lot of attention seemed to go to a certain table that the chef and bartender kept frequenting to chat. For the price of the food, they should make a few improvements to add to the dining experience here. Clearly they're going for an experience and a niche, they need to hone in on it and get it right because right now, it needs something to get on its feet read more

Brought my girlfriend here for a highly anticipated date night at this new restaurant. Place was very loud, but felt like a good atmosphere. The entire evening we felt ignored. It took a while to get our drink order put in and then an equally long time to receive our drinks. We ordered clams and oystwr for appetizers. They were pretty good, I really liked the clams, except for the half a shell that had broken and flaked to the point where I still had grit in my teeth an hour later. My girlfriend and I both ordered the ribeye, rare. When the steaks came, as with the rest of the items brought by the waitstaff, they were dumped and the staff left. We needed more drinks and it took another 15 minutes to flag someone down to get more. The steaks were quite literally raw and cold in the middle, I sent mine back. It came back still raw, except the spinalis dorsi part was completely charred and acrid, the best part of the ribeye. At this point they removed it from the bill and we paid and left. Along with the problems with food, the services was really abysmal. The waitress would drop something off and then quickly leave, without asking if we needed anything else or checking in on us. When my steak came back a second time she dropped it off and said "hope it's better" and quickly ran off. We couldn't get our drinks refilled, waiting 15 minutes at a time for a refill. When the check came, I paid in cash just to avoid having to wait and feel neglected waiting for them to take my card and come back with it. I haven't had such a disappointing meal(well attempt, as I didn't eat my meal) in many years. I hope the wait staff was just new and learning the ropes and they work on their quality control in the kitchen. I might give it another shot in the future, but won't be returning anytime soon. read more

This is the worst place I've been to the service sucked, the manager/owneI don't know what the hell he was but He was the rudest nastiest couldn't give a crap person I've ever seen in the restaurant industry. Our waiter was the only one working he was overwhelmed and moody, and the drinks were horrible and warm and the food was very minimal and bland. I would never ever ever go here again nor would I ever recommend this to a dog let alone people. It's incredibly dark and dreary that's because they try to mask the food. A disappointing delivery dinner that was almost an hour late. The duck was mushy/chewy and a bit overcooked. The Caesar salad had promise but was not the best choice for delivery. The best part of the dinner was the potatoes au gratin, fire roasted fingerlings and sauces for the proteins (duck and bone-in strip steak). Concept was too in your face. very drug related. Bathroom sign " Please refrain from doing cocaine" Seated I was asked if we wanted water, server said "flat or sparkle". I responded flat. she brought a bottle of water. she asked a few times if we wanted more water. Got the bill in a medicine bottle. The water was 24.00 for 3 bottles. This place is legit. NYC style dining in the heart of Goshen. Have not had anything we didn't like yet. Tonight we had the truffle deviled eggs, bacon wrapped shrimp, steak with potatoes gratin (best potatoes gratin I've ever tasted) and I had the cavatelli pasta with grilled chicken in a cream sauce. DELISH. Finished with the coffee desert shots, served in syringes. We love Goshen and this is such a great addition. We will be back frequently. Also, amazing cocktails and wine selection. With a whole lot of disappointment, I'm hanging to change my review from 5 stars to 1 based on our last visit and the lack of response from management since that time. In 9/4/2023, as previous loyal customers, we went to the Pharmacy for dinner and drinks. Here are SOME of the things that went wrong: - although there were only a few other customers, it took a long while to get our drinks (1 soft drink & 1 cocktail) - we needed to ask for water and the waitress only brought 1 glass (which never got refilled) that my son and I had to share. - my son never got nor was asked if he wanted a refill on his soft drink - the appetizer (clams) was served cold - waitstaff never checked on us after delivering dinners - if the waitstaff did check on us, she would have seen that 75% of the steak sandwich my son ordered was left on his plate bc it was extremely undercooked and parts were extremely fatty or tough. - I needed salt (which I couldn't ask for bc we weren't check on) for my burger as it was extremely under seasoned - the air conditioner was leaking / dripping water all over our table, our plates and all over me. I was drenched and only got an "oh, sorry" as we asked to move to a different table. - we were asked if we wanted dessert to which we said no - we still needed to get my son some dinner, my clothing was still soaked & I was cold - It took a very long time to get the check and to have it returned to us after handing the waitstaff the credit card. She was busy talking with kitchen staff instead. It was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. I sent an email and FB message to management and was told they were on vacation and would get back to me. It's been a month and still no response. Clearly they don't care, which is fine, bc we have no problem whatsoever bringing our business elsewhere. read more

I went here for my 21st birthday yesterday the drinks were amazing. It was a very cute place when I walked in there I fell in love with it, I wish there was more places around that had an atmosphere like that. We started out with the appetizers of the truffle deviled eggs unfortunately they were sour and they were no good and they had no problem taking it back and taking it off our bill. I do wish I could do half stars on Yelp because I would rate this a strong 3 1/2 stars. The reason for this rating has nothing to do with the excellent food, great drinks, and good service. It's really only to do with the shocking pricing. First, be warned that there are no prices on the menu listed anywhere. So it's a blind guess what you're paying for. Then be ready to be overcharged up the wazoo, including credit card use charges and fees as well as hefty taxes. The price was exorbitant, astronomical even. Granted the economy has made everything more expensive but this feels like an unnecessary wallet gutting. It's definitely a deterrent to keep us from returning even despite how excellent the food and drink was. I will say this-- portions are fine and food quality really is very good and the drinks are potent which is a plus as well. It's super fun that they keep to their Pharmaceutical theme in every way too. The ambiance is pretty cool too! I really do recommend this place in every other way. It was simply shocking to have eaten a very basic meal and be charged such an exorbitant amount. It's going to devour your wallet to have a meal, one drink-- no apps or desserts-- especially if you plan to go out with friends or treat a loved one. If the prices werent so steep I'd absolutely rate this higher and we'd definitely be regularly returning with friends and family. Anyway, just be warned! In the past 6 months, have eaten here 4 times. Every meal was great. A bit pricey, but the food, drinks and service always was great. Enjoyed the various steaks and tuna tartare. The server was rude the minute we walked in- he had no tables and kept his back to us like he was mad we just walked in, Toni was his name. He was mean to us for no reason kept his back to us telling us to pick a table and gave mean looks over his shoulder as we scrambled to our table of choice feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome . It was a la cart condiments- he served us wings then said we had to ask for the dressing separately and he brought the dressing after the wings were done saying the dressing takes long to make- when we asked for water he brought a $10 bottle of water and quickly tried to bring another. The prices aren't on the menu or the icon you get with your phone you have to go to the website to get the prices , my hamburger was burned , he told me I had to ask for how I wanted it prepared and I responded I specifically told you not burned , he gave himself a 20 percent tip hidden in my bill and then repeated at end of bill asking if I wanted to leave 18 or 20 percent which was deceitful because he would have gotten tipped twice - giving himself a 20 percent tip $18.95 is unusual- we were a party of 3 . They gave my husband the bill in a pill box that was labeled for vagina use only in big letters - finding this rude I asked is this for real? The female bartender who stood staring at us throughout the meal eating her dinner just staring and listening to us as she shoved food in her face , she wasn't even sitting down for her meal she stood facing us - bringing her fork to her mouth standing behind my son facing our table eating and listening a watching us like she was watching tv responded yes the for vaginal use only is for real I made the stickers myself - later my husband told me he found her to be extremely rude saying that to me - I found having to watch her fork her food into her face standing behind the bar right behind my son yet facing us judging us listening and watching us very rude .
