Interesting to see upon reading reviews from YEARS ago that multiple other people experienced the SAME exact scenario we did. Dropped our bike off before Thanksgiving to get work done. Paid the $2000 up front for parts after waiting almost 2 months just to get a quote. The holidays went by and we still didn't hear anything...reached out and "oh we would have ordered the parts but they're busy at bike week!" Lame excuse but alright... wait another few weeks... any progress now? No--you call, they have no answers other than oops we still haven't done it sorry! You ask for the owner and he's too busy to talk on the phone and too busy to talk in person. They told us the parts our bike needed were going to need sourced from out of state. In the 5 months they had our bike they didn't order a single part for it. No more than 10 minutes after we picked up the bike we were able to locate and order pistons from kansas for $400, whereas the ones they were "ordering" were $850 from Rhode Island. When we came to pick our bike up they gave us a sob story about how they can't give us any of our money back because they're "about to close our doors" due to lack of $, we had to use it as "store credit"--so maybe don't entrust them with your business since they plan to close up shop anyhow. Dropped our bike off running in 1 piece, picked it up In 6 boxes. At least we will be saving tons of money on labor now. Biggest waste of time & headache

But I truly have to stop. I always find my way back to Independant. Bob, Mike, (and to be honest) every person that's ever worked here have always been like brothers and sisters. They truly take care of their customers like they have known them for years. I like to do a lot of my own stuff but when there's something I'm not comfortable with because maybe I've never tried it, I know I can depend on these folks to give me the absolute BEST price, and the absolute BEST work with no bullshit! If you ride, and you're in the east valley, this is the place to come. If you ride and you're in the west valley, it's worth the ride or drive (if you have to trailer your bike) and this is still the place to come.

The bike had a lot of accessories on it from the previous owner, I had removed several poorly installed accessories and Jesse found a few more. Luckily, everything was repaired same day and I was surprised how reasonable the price was for all the labor (rethreading a stripped oil pan) among an oil change and a chain tightening. She's a hands on type of manager and is great at what she does. The mechanic Andy is great. He is thorough and knows what he is doing. Very nice guy...he works hard. On this visit I had the opportunity to meet one of the Founders, Rob. Rob was very down to Earth and was working right along side of Alex and Andy. Great guy... And of course I can't leave out Lucas... He's the Chihuahua guard dog and greeter. After meeting me he made himself right at home in their lounge, on the couch, and sat down next to me.

He did tell me he had some personal family stuff going on, but said he was coming down to his shop on Sunday and would meet me at that time. I hadn't dealt with this guy before or read the reviews but was happy he worked on quads and Ko Karts so I loaded up my toys on my trailer and got my lady and kiddo up early to make sure we were there on time. We get there early and sit around and Aaron no shows. I called him several times and text'd him and no response, so I figured he might just be running late or whatever and I go to O'rileys Auto parts 3 minutes away to see if they have a motorcycle battery for my quad. I return and its only been a few minutes since I left. We sit around for this guy thinking there is no way he is just going to straight up flake, well that's exactly what he did. We waited close to an hour for this guy and he never showed. He did read my text message as my cell showed as the messages were read, yet he didn't have the professionalism to return my call or text me or anything. This guy is a self centered jerk that has no idea what professionalism is and I am surprised he is even in business still. Although it sucked to have to return home and un trailer everything and I wasted my Kiddo and my Lady's whole first part of our Sunday off waiting on this Clown, at least I dodged a bullet, evident from others reviews on this guy. Kelly's is a wondrous place, full of that new motorcycle smell that enters the blood stream as soon as you walk in and take a breath, bathing you in happiness. Their sales staff are low key which is nice as nobody likes to be dogged around a showroom floor. They have an amazing selection of motorcycles too, everything from Kawa's to Triumphs and Ducatis. Royal Enfield's are in abundance as well. I've never used their service department so I can't speak to that, but they have a pretty solid parts department. I'm a big fan of Japanese bikes. So having a place that doesn't start with Ride Now or Harley is my own private paradise.
