If you want poor service and poor communication, this is the place for you! I recently purchase a used Honda scooter that needed new tires. After I purchased the tires, they agreed to install them for me. Since I was getting that done and the scooter was new to me I decided to have them do a tune up on it at the same time. They replaced some spark plugs, checked things, changed the oil, etc. The scooter needed a new air filter, but they did not have any in stock and they told me that it would take 7-10 days to come in. I asked them if I needed to leave it there until it came in and was told that it only takes 10 minutes to install so I could pick it up and they would call me to bring it back when in to bring it back. I paid for everything, including the air filter that was not in yet. When the part came in, they proceeded to tell me that there was a new labor charge to install it . . . even though that was part of the tune up that I already paid for . . . because I did not leave the scooter with them until the part came in. Now, if they had communicated that to me when I asked if I needed to leave it with them until the part came in that would have been fine, but they did not. Unfortunately, regardless of the fact that they did not communicate it to me, they decided that the $40 of labor they wanted to charge for what they called a "10 minute install", that I already paid for was worth fighting over. At this point instead of having a raving fan, I will never go there again and will vocally recommend that no one else should either. read more

I'd give one star but the lady in the show room was knowledgeable and helpful one of the times I went in. Otherwise my experience with them has repeatedly been poor. Bikes are extremely over priced and options are limited. Biggest problem is the guys who run there online system. I've messaged about a bike several times and either get ignored or he catches an attitude about how amazing they are and that I don't know what I'm talking about. Most of my experience was good. The bike was present as the website stated, and as soon as I walked in, I pointed to the bike and asked to test ride it. Shortly after that I was riding down side roads, just to check that everything worked well. It did. I found the bike on Craigslist, and it made no mention of the mods on the bike. This was about 11:00 in the morning, and I put $100 down for them to hold it, informing them that I was going to be back after work to fill out the paperwork and pick it up. I returned just under 6 hours later, and, as the counter-workers said, the paperwork was ready and I made my purchase in a jiff. The issue I had was the over 30 minutes I waited for them to tidy up the bike before I took off on it. They even put it back in the showroom after I left. I have no idea how that couldn't have been done in the 5+ hours I was gone. I stood there waiting for something that should have been done way earlier. To top it off, the only place I had enough fuel to get to was the gas station! I've owned over half a dozen cars and several motorcycles, both new and used. I have NEVER driven or ridden off of a lot with less than a full tank of gas. Seriously. I was shocked they lacked the pride in service to say "hold on, we'll get this topped off real quick. The employee even pointed out the tank was low and that I needed to fill up before any long hauls. Later, as I was getting used to the bike and starting to open the throttle, I noticed a massive lack of traction. I've never ridden Shinko tires, so I assumed this was it... for a second. Just to make sure though, I checked the chain. It had less than 1/2 an inch of play. It is concerning to me that a shop can let a bike out the door with that going on. Everyone there is nice, and I might go back, but the problems I came across could be mistaken for a shop that lacks thoroughness and experience. read more

Called Chandler Powersports after I had called the place that sold me my scooter (last time I will call the place that sold me the scooter). Robert was very open about what he thought was wrong and in the end he was correct. They picked up the scooter (yes expensive but worth it to me) about 2pm on a Friday and had it fixed by 2pm on the following Tuesday (closed Sunday and Monday). Saw a special for a motorcycle tire service for $39.99 and asked if they could pickup my bike up from my house around the corner literally 2 miles... they told me it would be $49.99 roundtrip I specifically asked if it would be dropped off AND picked UP. They said YES. When the bike was complete I came to find out that they wanted to double charge me to have it dropped off!! The manager quickly got the owner on the phone, he sounded like a young kid....Spoke to the owner Robert and he was extremely rude absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Told me Flat out that I am not a customer he wants to work with. He is obviously not a people person and should leave the customer relations to a third party. I am talking directly to you Robert you need help if you are going to make it in this business. You may want to hire a sales professional or someone who knows how to work with customers because you obviously have no clue. I won't be coming back or sending any referrals here. I won't be surprised if this place goes out of business soon with amazing shops like Ride Now and Bob Parsons taking over the AZ motorcycle nation. He is a class act Robert.
