In 2004 Bobs took $1,500 from me as a college student. I entered a contract with them for a Honda 900rr for $5,000 that I would pay in monthly while they store the bike. Two months in they sold the bike and refused to give me my money back and only in store credit for their sparse and crappy inventory. I took my softail in in January. It had not been riden in a couple of years. I told Tuco the mechanic that i wanted it road worthy. He said no problem he liked working on softails but that it might be a while till he finished it. I got one call on the progress in 4 months. Never another word until i was called and told that the bike was done. Well most people would figure the bike was actually done. But the bike was not done. The bike turns off at at every red light after a carb rebuild. The primary leaks like a sieve. Tuco told me he never got to that. What he did fix he did pretty well on but for 1800.00 plus and 11 hours of labor i must say i am disappointed. I was told. Just dont try to take it on a run. Bottom line when you tell me my motorcycle is done i expect the job to be completed which it was not. I like everyone at Bobs but i waited a long time with no communication and then was rushed to pick up a job that was not done. Just a drag. Nice people but they really dropped the ball as far as i am concerned. I am sad to say i am probably not returning. read more

I am extremely satisfied that I made the right decision to use Bob's Cycle Supply. I had a horrible experience at Lane Splitters and ended up broken down at Bob's when I went for a part after picking up my bike. Bob himself helped me get my bike going that day and gave me a lead on what the issue might be on his own time. I decided to use Bob's to clean up the other shop's errors and I am glad I did. Tuco the mechanic is a very knowledgeable and talented mechanic. He can do it all and will have it fixed the first time you bring it to him. He was very thorough and strived to make sure my bike left the shop running like a champ. My charging system now works perfect with zero issues and he took care of plenty of minor issues that the other shop overlooked. Carol up front was also very helpful when inquiring about parts and they usually have everything you need in stock or they can easily order it for you. Stop worrying about finding a trustworthy shop. Just bring it by to Bob's and be worry free. Support the local business who has been here for decades! read more

Stopped in to Bob's cycle shop never have owned a Harley Davidson before. Carol and Bob were both very helpful! Bob and carol can tell by just looking at pictures of what you have what year it was made and what parts were discontinued in what year very amazing Carol has the same knowledge. I am new to Phoenix this summer. I ride pans and shovels. After going to a couple shops in the area I stumbled onto this place right near my work. I love it! Reminds me of the old shops back east. New and used parts hanging and stacked everywhere. Carol behind the counter is very knowledgeable, and if you allow yourself to be "schooled" by a woman you'll prolly learn something. Pay no attention to the haters below. These are good people here I came to Phoenix 17 years ago. After asking around for a good bike shop, Bob's name always came up. His shop is amazing, almost a museum of motorcycle lore. There is so much to look at here from antique bikes to old NOS(new old stock) parts everywhere. A very good selection of new and used bikes for sale. He has one of the best parts ladies you'll ever find, Carol. She know her stuff, and that storeroom has tons of stuff, new and old, let me tell you. I build old style choppers on the side, I always bring my sub-assemblies that I don't have the tools to complete here. Always good work done at a reasonable price. I have needed insurance quotes done on special constructions from time to time, and Bob was always ready to help with that, including supplying the statement of worth on his letterhead documents. I can't say enough good about him, his place, and his people. I have since moved back to L.A. and am already missing this place. There really is nothing like it anywhere. His many old time customers would agree and say the same. I wish i could give them 10 stars.... read more

Was referred to this "business" a few years back to deal minor work such as oil changes, annual emissions check, etc. No doubt, one looks to support the small business owner and take advantage of the "lower than dealer hourly rates." But, the real test of reliability/skill came before a planned annual road trip. In addition to the service check, asked to "recommend any necessary repairs," as I'd hate to be stranded a 1000 miles away from home. They recommended only R&R of the cam tensioners, which I approved. Needless to say, the work led to other problems and subsequent repairs, which after 3 visits, remained unresolved. Less than a week before my road trip, and problems escalating with each return "covered under warranty" visit, I was told by the owner he wouldn't be able to look at my bike "for at least another week" due to back orders. No doubt, the back orders were due to "warranty repairs" resulting from their "quality work." With no remaining options, I took it to the dealer who discovered the faulty repair and had the bike up and running just in time for my trip! Returning from my road trip, I took the findings of the dealer, to include the evidence of the faulty repair and parts back to this "business" and asked for resolution. After almost a month of no returned calls, my attempts at resolving, to include my offer to settle the matter for 50% of my additional out of pocket expense due to their negligence, failed. Bob, the owner, who favors nothing more than to hear himself talk, smuggly proclaimed he had never been sued, even quoting a recent episode of the famed Judge Judy as an example of how he could never be held accountable!! Well, I filed my case the next business day. Court date is set for October. Stand by, folks. In the mean time, steer clear. Lots of other independent business owners who are willing to work for your loyal business.... read more

I've been going into Bob's Cycle Supply for about 35 years. They have ALWAYS been friendly and VERY helpful, and EXTREMELY Knowledgeable. Carol, The little old lady behind the counter, REALLY KNOWS her shit!!! And is VERY Helpful... But, you HAVE to be respectful as you should be when someone is trying to HELP You. I am VERY picky as to whom I allow to touch my Shovel. I trust them pretty much solely to work on it. As for "Nelson J.", You are an idiot! There is a difference between Bob's Cycle Supply and Bob's Used Cycles... Bob's Cycle Supply DOES NOT SELL Jap bikes OR parts!!! NEVER HAS! They are STRICTLY Harley. You should use that College Education a little more and at least get the right business!!! And as for the other guy, Mike H. Bob has ALWAYS stood beside everything his shop has ever done. If you take something in and there are multiple things wrong with your bike, They are going to tell you when they find it. I have seen numerous times where guys bring things in and want them installed... If you ask them to only change one particular part, They will ONLY change that part, But you are still going to have issues with the other defective parts. you can bring a bike into any shop and they will do their damndest to cut down other shops. You aren't real up on this stuff are you..??..?? I have dealt with MANY dealers across the country and have worked in some of them. I could tell you some pretty messed up stories about some of them... Bob's Cycle Supply has done and continues to do great work on older Harleys. read more
