I wish that I had known that towing an AWD vehicle in that manner would destroy the transmission, transfer case, drive train (and more) and cause $13,000 in damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement with this company to compensate us fairly for the damage they caused to our vehicle. I'm only stating facts due to the litigation process. This has been a frustrating process and I had to purchase another vehicle. I am still hopeful this can be resolved. If I had not used Shackleford Towing I would have my dependable functioning vehicle and hundreds of dollars in my pocket every month.

They charged me $1200 to tow that car 4.1 miles. This is highway robbery. Wanted me to sign my title over to them to get the bill paid. They do not even have a body shop there and could not assess the damages. I had to have it towed somewhere else and pay that fee plus $25/day storage. There are lots more honest tow companies in Ringgold. Try Worley's or Advanced Collision but avoid this company unless you have money to throw away. You have a choice. Don't take whomever is in the rotation for kickbacks.
