i really love this place, not only are they open late but they also have good food and drinks! i like to come at night with friends and i used to go before covid when they had live karaoke. my favorite thing to get there is the thai green tea, it is absolutely BOMB! for foodhowever i normally go for their noodles with beef because i'm too scared to try anything new. it's still really good and i never get tired of it. I finally decided to try this place out after years. My go to flavor of drink is usually always iced lychee jasmine/green tea & this place is definitely NOT the place to get it. My tea was extremely bitter to where it was unbearable to even take a sip of drink (I didn't even taste the lychee flavor). I used to love this place but from now on i will never try any milktea again. I order 2 different kinds of milktea, 1 green tea saigon style and 1 olong original style. Both were not good. Food was okay. I went there just for the banh trang tron and it was not cut finely enough so when I poured in the tamarind sauce, everything clumped up together. There were plenty of tables for seating, however, they were not cleaned in a timely manner, so my husband and I sat at a table that could've fit 4-6 people instead of sitting at a table for 2. I'm so glad I discovered this place! They have really good milk tea boba here- try the Taiwanese style one. Good assortment of to go foods. I have not tried their sandwiches but their ingredients look fresh. Really like their "xoi" and spring rolls. It looks like the "food court" area of this supermarket is under renovation or some changes, so the place doesn't look quite like a food court nor does it look like a cafe. Food: Durian crepes are a solid choice, if you like durian. Decent amount of durian meat with whipped cream inside the durian flavored crepe. Corn milk is rich but tasty, so I could only drink a little bit at a time. Thai green tea and matcha green tea are unique but tasty drink choices. Prices are on the high side for all their items. Other items on the menu that I didn't try include noodles and banh mi. Service/Environment: Almost like a food stand in a food court concept, since you order at the counter in an open area. Gotta love this place!!! They have improved so much since their first opening. I remember I almost didn't want to come back after my first time. I got a Thai Milk Tea, it was so bland to the point I thought I was just drinking a cup of sweet orange colored water. It was just really weird and I told myself I would never waste my money here again. Few months later, my friend bought me a durian crepe and lemme tell ya, I fell in love. Not just because I'm a durian fan, their durian crepes actually taste really good since I've had many of those in my life. I started to try their drinks. They are so much better now since my bad Thai Tea experience. I usually get the Oloong Taiwan Milk Tea with milk jelly. I've tried the food too. Pho is decent, I wish they have different sizes though, the portion is just really big that I never finish a bowl of pho here. Their rice plates are always on point with the decoration and taste. I've been to Phi a few times. I always get the combination Banh Mi. Their smoothies are usually pretty good and made with fresh fruits. Every once in a while, I will order the beef pho. The pho broth tastes different every time. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, hot, today and the cup was a quarter empty. I ordered a few sandwiches and the sandwiches tasted so fishy.
