What I like about a place is consistency and it's good. Their beef rib pho is one of the things I'd say they're known for. I personally got the mi thap cam this time which is the egg noodle with seafood and pork. The flavor of the broth is solid. The shrimp and pork were great additions. They also add some kind of organ meat which I'm not sure which one it is but it's healthy for you. I'd get it again if I was craving it. It definitely hit differently than the beef rib pho which I always end up finishing my noodles before the meat or have that big rib to try and finish. I also got their banh mi dac biet which came out first and it was pretty good and fresh. Service is quick and tables were clean. read more

Yall are sleeping on Ba Le, I use to work at a school nearby for years and I always told myself I needed to come here, but I never did while I worked in the area. Years later, I am back to working in Arlington and recently finally made it to Ba Le. I know they are known for their sandwichies, and I dint know you could order them off the deli counter instead of ordering them from the sit-down restaurant. The first time i went, I ordered a sandwich and a noodle dish. The sandwich was the first thing that came out; it was hot, like right off the oven, hot! The sandwich had lots of pate, and the meat was well-seasoned but not as good at the one from Saigon Deli (that's my ride or die for Vietnamese sandwiches). Next time I go, I will try a different sandwich. During this visit, I had a noodle dish,h and it was good, nothing amazing (i think it was the lemon grass beef). Really good. I went and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated. They have an iPad to check in, and that's how they know the order to seat people. The service was fast since they are really busy every day. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms when I went. On my second visit, is when I tried the Pho, and I am hooked. I tried the combination pho and it was everything like the pictures show! When I tried the brooth I could tell they really go big on the spices that make up the broth, star anise, cloves, cardamom and everything else. I really enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can see what all the hype is about, but for my pho i usually go to Pho 95. I did try the Vietnamese coffee, and even tho i asked for it to be extra sweet, it was not sweet enough. Since then, I been on a Vietnamese coffee kick and I can't stop haha. The food is delicious. The portion is pretty big. The pho can feed 2-3 people. Especially since we both don't eat that much, we still had leftovers. The pho had a delicious taste like always. The banmei could've had more of the pickled carrots and radish. The service was not good. There was attitude and they made it seem like we were an annoyance being in the restaurant. Other than the giant beef rib in the pho bowl, I don't think Ba Le's pho is good. They used too much of the "pho's seasonings and herbs" for their broth. Back in town and of course you go to the best beef pho place! Love that the put the beef bone in the bowl. It's my dad's favorite part of the pho lol! Family own and operated. Had a chance to visit Dallas this week so we stopped by here to try what everyone is raving about, Their banh Mi!! It was somewhat disappointing to say the least! Banh mi đặc biệt (3/5)- bread wasn't fresh which was disappointing; I can taste the bác biết fixing flavors, the overall experience from eat bite is just too dry for me. It wasn't very flavorful and out of this world as other reviews and social media make it out to be. Banh mi thịt nướng / grilled pork (4/5) - this sandwich actually tastes better than their Đặc Biệt. I would recommend. Banh tieu (4.5/5) - super cheap and flavor is spot on! Get it when available! Pate Chaud (4/5) while I expected to be more fluffy, it was a nice surprise with a good amount of stuffing and traditional peppery meat stuffing flavor. Ca Phê Sữa Đá (5/5) - super strong Vietnamese coffee. I would wait for the ice to melt into the coffee first before taking your first sip! Coffee here will sure wake you up. I drink coffee often and I could only finish half a cup and could barely sleep last night! Heard their pho is good but I haven't had a chance to try. So everyone is as friendly as they can get, nothing more nothing less. It gets the job done and I don't have any big complaints. The ambiance is "hole in the wall" which kinda got me excited. It's kept clean for the most part, they keep Clorox wipes at each table which I liked. I've never seen that before. Restrooms are decent enough but could use a tad bit of cleaning. Nothing major. Now for the food. We started with spring rolls. I'll be honest we really weren't a fan of them. They had no flavor whatsoever. Hard pass. It didn't matter because the star of the show was their delicious pho. I'm still thinking about that pho bowl! The broth was amazing! Delicious! Apparently every bowl comes with a rib which was oh so delicious and tender. They only have Beef pho on the menu here. I got the brisket. Plenty of meat and noodles. Their chili sauce is fire! Very spicy and tasty. My daughter and husband ordered the pork vermicelli bowl and they said it was some of the best. The portions for both items are very decent! The pho comes in large and extra large portions. The large bowl did the job. My appetite is pretty big but I don't even think I need an extra large bowl. Who knows maybe I'll try it out one day. One of my favorite banh mi places to go when in the DFW area! The baguette is so crunchy on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside. The banh mi bo kho has a great flavor. The meat is a bit fatty but there's enough meaty chunks. I always get bbq pork banh mi and I like how the slices are thin and they put a good amount of mayo and patte. I got the regular sized pho bowl and it had a flavorful broth. I liked that they had their own twist by adding a tender beef short rib bone. There is an extra large size available, but I think the regular was a good portion size as someone with a larger appetite. My dad had the mi thap cam kho, which also had great flavors as well. The restaurant can get busy so when you arrive there is a kiosk available to add your name to the waitlist and they will contact you when your table is ready. The food came out fairly quickly despite how busy they were. You will make your payment close to the kiosk where you add your name. The establishment itself is divided into a restaurant and take out portion that also offers pastries and other food. The parking lot is also fairly small so carpool if possible. The tables are fairly close to one another as it felt like I was pretty close to other guests. There is also a big television and speakers playing music, which was nice and not too loud. read more

I've been coming to this place many many years and they have made their pho so good. Every single time I come here I look forward to eating their pho. It's one of my favorite places. They're banned me has the best pate ever , they don't skimp out on it. Their service is pretty fast. You kinda have to know what you're gonna order whenever you get there, but I will say you're coming here for the food flavor not for the service and I will take the flavor over anything anytime. They recently updated the inside of this place, so it doesn't look as old as it used to , but you will not be disappointed in anything you get everything has so much flavor to it. People complain about the service but honestly, the food just makes up for it and you're coming there just to eat and they will serve you fast and that's all you need for good food. We also ordered Banh Mi / Hu Tieu Bo Kho and thought the curry under taste was unfamiliar to what Bo Kho is supposed to taste like. We grabbed a few Pate Chaud on the way out, the pastry wasn't good and was extremely skimpy on the filling. I visited friends in McKinney and we drove an hour to Arlington just for this pho because it's one of the few places that offers beef rib bones. I had no expectations, yet they totally made my day! The restaurant wasn't the typical hole in the wall. It was spacious with a takeout counter for prepackaged desserts and food items. Decor was nothing to talk about but it's typical of most local Vietnamese restaurants. Nothing flashy. It's the food that really counts. We ordered the spring rolls and two types of summer rolls aka goi cuon as appetizers. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee and my friend ordered the milk tea with boba. We all chose the Pho Dac Biet all around. The service was a little lacking but the pho more than made up for it! Seems that disgruntled staff equates to darn good pho. The broth was rich and full bodied because of the savory beef base. You get more meat to noodle ratio which isn't standard, so I appreciated it. One of my pet peeves is when Vietnamese iced coffee isn't simply made of chicory beans and condensed milk but has added sweet creamer to it. I'm not a big fan because I like the traditional method. The appetizers were just okay and the peanut sauce was lacking. I will definitely come back for more but next time I'd like to try their other dishes as well. We walked in during lunch time on Friday. They weee pretty busy but we got seated promptly. The restaurant was clean. I saw staffs quickly cleaned up tables after customers left. They serve pretty good and authentic banh mi and Pho imo. I really wanted to try their porridge bowl but it was sold out that day. The Pho bowl looked amazing when the server brought out to our table. We got the XL size I believed . Pho broth was very flavorful, meat was tender and veggies were fresh. Came here on a Saturday around 5 and surprisingly, it wasn't packed. I was expecting to have to wait because of previous reviews and due to the fact that it's pretty small inside but we were seated right away. On the right of the entrance, they serve banh mi and ready to eat food. I saw some cha, nem, egg rolls but a lot were sold out probably due to it being later in the day. They also have tofu pudding, pate, pickled veggies, Che and some other cold food in a small fridge. We got 2 combination pho + meatballs (I think $2 more for meatballs) and a beef pho. All pho bowls come with the large beef bone which justifies the $17 minimum price for each bowl. They don't skimp on the meat but I feel like there could be more noodles. Also the noodles were a bit overcooked. We were so hungry so no pictures were taken sadly. For drinks, we got their iced Vietnamese coffee which was good. It was strong and not sweet. I would recommend ordering it at the beginning of the meal and letting the ice melt and it'll be perfect by the end of your meal. Probably one of the top 5 pho places we've been in DFW. Since moving to Fort Worth, I've really struggled with finding a go to spot for Vietnamese cuisines. I tried this place recently after hearing about it from TikTok... and I was not disappointed! The BBH was surprisingly my favorite. The portions are great and there's even a little spot to purchase cha lua/pate so/other stuff at the front (which I'll definitely be returning for). I can't imagine how many beef ribs they go through. This place was so packed there was that constant rumble hear hear from so many conversations and people talking. I had no issues with service. Ba Le is my family's go to for Pho. However, today's review is not about the beef noodle soup. Rather, this review is for their service and integrity. I left my Gucci purse hanging on the back of my chair and did not realize this until three hours later. Call them to inquire if anyone has turned in a purse and to their credit they said yes. When I went to retrieved it, nothing was out of place, including the cash inside. Kudos to the wait staff for their honesty and speaks volume to the caliber of people they have there.
