    Pad Thai (chicken and tofu)
    Emily L.

We came later in the day, and we didn't realize they close at 8 just because times are inconsistent on all the apps. We left a bit before close around 7:45 and they turned the lights off right away and switched the sign to close. I thought it was a bit rude because it spread the message that we were taking up too much of their time and just wanted us to leave? We all got pad Thai, some of the chicken was extremely chewy, but some were good so I'm not sure why the inconsistency. I really enjoyed the tofu so next time I'll probably get tofu pad Thai. We sat inside and our waiter did not check up on us once except to drop off food. We had to walk up to him and say we want to pay and if we can get boxes, he was on his phone watching something the whole time. I really like the food so I would come again but probably just for take-out and not to dine in.

The best restaurant in the region! Service is always quick & friendly, but the food is PHENOMENAL! We've tried so many different items and each one is incredible! You cannot go wrong eating here. Best Thai food you'll ever have, we're so lucky to have Phikun's in Pullman.

    Lunch combo!

Thai in Pullman! Had green curry chicken 3 stars in a lunch combo which included a small side of pad Thai and soup! Price is what the price is in 2023...meaning the price is appropriate. Would recommend before other places in Pullman!

They get a 2 star because they had good mango sticky rice, but that was it. To start, customer service is non existent, you walk in the door and you feel invisible. The only people giving this 5 stars, has never eaten Thai food before. The orange chicken was bland, mushy and the veggies were old. Just felt lazy and they don't care. I've worked in food service before and understand food storage and prep. I challenge someone to do a blind taste test with this restaurant and Safeway. I wanted to like this place, given there isn't many options in town. Maybe I'll give it another chance in a year or two, who knows.

Nothing but noodles. Not a drop of broth.
    Austin P.

My pho came with not a drop of broth. Just a container FULL of noodles. The salad rolls are a horrible version of thai spring rolls. I called and explained my problem and the manager proceeded to tell me that he's sorry and next time ask for my broth on the side. No offer to make amends, just told to hope they don't fk me over next time. Absolutely unacceptable. Their food is not cheap and I wasted about $20 on inedible food. I'm never going back. Disgusting business practice.

Amazing food! The best yellow curry. Small space and the waiters take their time to sit you since it's popular. Needs more waiters

Very good thai food. The only thing is, every time it's gonna be 40 minutes wait time for the food. Gotta go when im not that hungry.

I really enjoyed them and the sauce it came with was delicious! Decided to get two chicken dishes, pad Thai and Phad Se Ewe. I got the pad Thai at a level 2 and the phad de ewe level 3. The spice level 3 was perfect for me, a little kick but not too spicy. These portions were also huge and had plenty of left overs. Overall my favorite was the phad se ewe, I love the charred taste in the dish. The experience I had was a lot better than the last time I came and I noticed they played music this time which was great I definitely will be returning!

My favorites so far are their Massaman Curry with chicken, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork, Phad See Ewe with chicken, and Pork Spring Rolls. The famous saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" applies with this restaurant. The exterior and interior looks outdated and worn down. It also lacks any ambiance because the decor is lacking and it is so quiet in there that it feels more like a library than a restaurant. However, this restaurant is a legit small family-owned and operated business and I appreciate the hard work they put in and I can tell they take pride in putting out delicious, quality food. So, don't judge this place by how it looks. If you're looking for a decent Thai restaurant, try Thai Ginger out. I look forward to dining here again the next time I'm in Pullman, Washington and trying more dishes.

The vibe is simple and no frills, kind of like a school cafeteria with a handful of tables and steady chatter from groups of students and families. Service was good. Our server took our order right away, and the food came out fast. They kept up with drink refills even though it was busy, which I appreciated. The beef pho was okay. The broth didn't have much flavor, the soup wasn't quite hot enough, and the beef was sliced too thin, so it came out chewy. It wasn't bad, but it didn't quite hit the mark either.

After we called we got in immediately and were greeted before we sat with water already out for each guest. There weren't many there when we arrived and we were sat in the back. It was like a semi-private room. She took appetizer orders first and then drinks. It did begin to fill up with more guests so it did take a while for our food to arrive but that was due to the day. However the food was excellent. We all had a good time. The waitress was attentive and ensured we all had what we needed. This was a wonderful experience.

The only thing I'd rate lower is the avocado rolls, which seemed to be a ton of vegetable greens and some avocado slices stuffed in a rice paper roll that was loosely wrapped and open on both sides. I would have expected it to be wrapped as a spring roll, because it was quite messy to consume. Otherwise, a solid time.

We still decided to wait because we made the trip for this place. It was about a 30 minute wait, when they decided to offer an outside seat. We accepted, and we were the only ones outside most likely because it was freezing outside. Our waiter did not come out for another 20 minutes, which we thought they forgot about us at this point. He came out and we ordered right away for the crab wontons and a Thai tea. After a long time we received our food, which I understood was because they were busy but still. The Thai tea was extremely sweet, unbearably sweet. I decided to ask them if there's a way to make it less sweet and they said that there's no way and they could only add more cream. I asked to take it off because it was hard to drink. If you don't like sweet drinks, I don't recommend the Thai tea at all. The crab wontons were good but they were cold, which was a little disappointing. After another 30 minutes we got the chicken Pad Thai and Pad kee Mao. Both were very hot and delicious, we got it at a medium spice level, which was perfect because it would have been too spicy otherwise. They never checked up on us after. We waited for a long time after finishing and nobody came out so we went in and asked for the box and a check. The food was fine, but I was disappointed in the Thai tea and the service. Yes I know they are busy and I understand, but to throw us outside and forget about us was really disappointing. I was freezing outside and waited a long time for the food and for getting served.

On this visit, I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon, which is one of my favorite dishes. I quite enjoyed it. The broth was good, the noodle delicious, and the soup packed with veggies. I also ordered the edamame. I always order edamame when I can because I love it so much and never have it outside of restaurants. This particular edamame was good--a little lacking on spice for my particular taste but still hit the spot and filled my craving for edamame. Accessibility: This restaurant is generally accessible. The seating is a mix between booths and tables. The chairs do not have arms. There are a couple of accessible parking spots, but they are limited. The lighting is decent here and should be okay. Noise is not really an issue. I have never experienced crowds though I never go during the busiest times. I cannot remember if they have accessible washrooms. I'm from California, so some things in Washington and Idaho are new to me. Like for instance, our server handing us water bottles instead of cups of water. Turns out I guess Moscow is known for having issues with water. Our miso soup had no additives. No tofu, or seaweed. Just broth. Our sushi chef also forgot one of my rolls, and forgot to give my aunt her yakisoba, so we had to ask for them. There was only one other table of 2 seated while we were dining, so I can't even blame a busy dining room as the reason why the staff was flustered. On the plus side, our server did bring my baby cousin a tiny serving of miso soup, so my aunt didn't "have" to share hers, and brought a spoon for the baby, so that was a nice touch. All in all, this tourist definitely will not be eating here again.
