Really nice dine in place! Love the set up, super fun they have crayons on all the tables so people can color and design their placemats. They even hang a lot of them up all over their walls. The food was okay. Got a chicken, spinach, and onion pizza as well as the chicken pesto calzone with spinach and onion added. The calzone looked great but you couldn't taste the pesto at all and there was a huge imbalance with the ingredients. We both felt like, for the pizza and calzone, way too much cheese. Any visiting Spokanites who love Pete's Pizza will do naked cartwheels with these 'zone offerings. They were getting creamed with the Natl Lentil Festival going on and hundreds of parents dropping off their students at WSU, and were down a few items that I crave; but no matter, because I just asked our waitress to pick whatever protein they had left and add pickled Jalapeños. Came here with a couple friends and we shared a large pie. The cheese pull was real and the crust was golden and chewy in the best way. I liked how the pepperoni got those little crispy edges. I always love sella's we tried the gluten free crust and it was delicious. Thinner and a little crispy and was even better in day two.

The calzones are huge and stuffed full of cheese and toppings. It's almost too much cheese, really. But find you're inner strength and you can make it through. The only aspects of Sella's I don't love are the limited draft beer options and the fact that the salads are made of iceberg lettuce. read more

We've been here many times but first review. Consistently great pizza. My wife loves their side salad too. We never pass up going here if we are in Pullman. I think it's a bit pricey for pizza but for the quality I'm fine with paying a little more. Only thing that is odd is that they solicit a tip just for taking your order. Wish I had more time to embrace this place but it's special for sure. Stopped in late after a busy long day of move in so the gang and I were hangry! After hearing SO many good things about this place we finally had time to try it finally and it's definitely all true. We ordered 2 calzones (Canadian&build your own) and 1 12" Canadian pizza Everything was super delicious! Calzones are huge and packed with melty ouuuwie goooey cheesy goodness! Didn't have time to take any pictures but you can see from others here and get a good idea. Pizza tasted great to no surprise but one thing I didn't like if I had to choose is the bottom of the pizza was super wet and not dry and I'm not sure if that's because of the toppings? But if they could find a way to fix that with a crispy bottom it would be top tier pizza no doubt about that. Ambiance is nice with a lot of artwork drawings on the walls from past patron's. Energy here was great and the customer service had a huge part of it so shout out to all the employees because I bet it was super busy and tiring with all the people that were in town. Wow, mega hearty portions for the money. Sella's is clearly a Pullman institution, and I'm so glad we got to visit and eat there. Looks very kid-friendly with paper place settings and drawing materials on the tables. Staffed by likely WSU students, who are friendly and know the menu. We got sodas and calzones. My friend got the regular size calzone with custom toppings and at the end of our meal she hadn't done much damage. I could not even finish my mini Coug calzone after having the house salad. It was savory and tasty. The contents were moist and generously covered in cheese, and the outside satisfyingly crusty. Would definitely come again! read more

Our Charlie was having test done at WSU and this isn't a WSU review but if you have a furbaby with serious illness or disease, please take them to the VTH at WSU. So much cheese, delicious marinara and toppings of the highest freshness. The wife had the pasta Alfredo with Chicken. It was delicious but also the aromas and presentation were superb. Only wish I remembered to take a pic. The inside of this restaurant is very classy and inviting. With 20 players and 40 supporting family members I estimate we spent roughly $1200-1500 that night on food and drinks. The food was good but after we completed our orders and many were seated while finishing meals, respectfully & well mannered I may add, the manager (a young woman) came out of the kitchen visibly angry and began shouting across the restaurant that they were closing and we needed to leave. Keep in mind that my order was last, and made just a few minutes after closing, I had also ordered a pint of beer. She said I needed to leave even though I had just sat down to eat and enjoy my beer. Our group probably covered their nut for two days of business and they were rude and disrespectful to us. I will never return to that restaurant, and will tell everyone I know about the awful staff at this place. BTW both woman behind the counter served me with smiles on their faces and 10m later after they served my food (in a box) they turned into angry elves. No presents from Santa this Christmas for them. My family and I were craving Italian food and wanted to give this place a shot. We were tired and didn't feel like going out to eat so we got our food to go. We googled the menu and places our orders. My spaghetti and meatballs was good and the onions gave it more flavor. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary for spaghetti. My uncle had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and he couldn't really taste the shrimp. The calzones were filling but missing a sauce for moisture. The only sauce came from the meats. Group of us came in two weeks ago after the WSU vs Oregon football game. It was crowded, but there was a very kind employee making sure everyone had menus and helping everyone in line find a table to sit at. Ordering went smoothly. For myself and one friend, our food came right away. Pizza was extra delicious and we comfortably shared a salad. In the meantime, my friends' pizza never showed up. Eventually they asked the same kind employee, who researched it and found it never got made. She went above and beyond to ensure that they got some money refunded and had bread twists to munch on while we waited for it. I ordered the Calzone Canadian which came with Canadian bacon, pineapple, mushrooms, marinara, and mozzarella. The dough was nice, but a little too cooked. It was a mistake ordering this (and I don't like pineapple on a pizza) because the pineapple combined with the mushroom oozed out their liquids making the calzone inside wet and full of liquids. I don't recommend their Calzone with Canadian for that reason. The presentation of the calzone was a letdown and could've been improved like better plating choice, but I'm not expecting that from this place. Everyone in Pullman knows and loves Sella's. It is the best pizza joint around. Sella's does not just sell pizzas, they also have the usual staples of pasta and salads. They also have their famous calzones. Each pizza and calzone is loaded with cheese. Extra cheese is not necessary here as it is ample and more than enough to satisfy any cheesy pizza lover. My order is always a Pepperoni and Mushroom Large pizza. I only have a few slices that night and have leftovers for days. The leftovers are best heated up in the oven and taste as good as the night they were baked. The oven heats up and melts the cheese, which brings out the flavor. My pizza the other night had the benefit of being really saucy, which is my favorite. Their sauce is really good and really made the pizza even better. The one downside of all the cheese is the greasiness. The pizza tends to be on the greasier side. However, it is not really an issue unless it is an issue for you personally. If you are in Pullman, I would highly recommend stopping in to this pizza place. Whether you take your order to go, which I do the majority of the time, or eat in or whether you order a pizza, pasta, or calzone, you will love Sella's. If possible, get those leftovers and reheat them in the oven! Accessibility: Sella's is semi-accessible. The entrance is a set of three stairs. However, there is a ramp at the back door. An employee needs to open it to let you in. The seating inside is kind of tight. It should not be an issue during slower hours outside of events like WSU football. (Event week/weeks mean crowds.) The seats do not have arms. There are booth benches along the walls. Outside the chairs do not have arms. I cannot remember the washrooms from the last time I was in since I take out the majority of the time. I would recommend doing take out if possible if you have any mobility issues. The lighting is good and should not be an issue. I have not been in during an event, so I cannot comment on that, but during regular hours, the noise level should not be an issue. read more

We came in at about 7:15 and were a little shocked to find absolutely no one there, since the only other time we've eaten there, the pizza was DELICIOUS. Alas, this time, we didn't even order and just left because the girl told us they couldn't do a half cheese, half pepperoni and jalapeño pizza for us. I found that rather ridiculous to turn away your only customers from an empty restaurant because you can't be bothered to put jalapeño on one side (which we would obviously pay for).
