From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I chose the right place. The people at the front desk were friendly and the space was welcoming. Baldeep, who took me back for my appointment, was tremendously attentive and made my experience comfortable and individualized. Since this was a new patient appointment for me, it was lengthy (as expected), but I felt like so satisfied after leaving. The staff was incredibly thorough with my exam, cleaning, and questions. I really couldn't ask for more. Dr. Taylor was also amazing. She really took the time to explain her reasonings for her recommendations. Very clunky and cumbersome intake process 2. Very unstable payment portal process mix of Dentrix (non-native Fintech) and some unknown third-party, which does not have reminders or auto-draw forcing you to share your financial details with roving staff via questionable security measures 3. Dr. Kim (male with mask) and Julia (office manager) are stand-offish and hollow, going through the motions, and did not make any effort to remember things as basic as: not scheduling appointments when patrons have moved out of the state, keeping a courtesy payment reminder active, updating Px about payment submission changes, shaking hands, or extending basic greetings in the waiting area. 4. They will argue away their avoiding of the Surprise Billing statute, by charging you extra before rendering the receipt of sale, meaning, if there is an agreed payment plan, the fee schedule is subject to change during the encounter if the provider deems it necessary to tack on additional fees-for-services rendered. They put you through the screening but use the built-in excuse that the screening tools are limited and things 'come-up' during the procedures. 5. The dental problem, despite the ~$2,500 tab, is still a problem, and seems like only a temporary fix was applied, to encourage a return visit for more services/charges to be levied. The tools used seemed functional and up-to-date, but beyond this the overall care quality presents as a place that has been gutted by turn-over, limited by location, and hamstringed by said personnel. Given the location and the personage mentioned, it would be best if alternatives were sought -- it is not worth the hassle or expense.

My 72 year old mother has dementia and needs an advanced extraction likely with a heightened level of sedation, when I asked the "lead" dentist what is a dentist that can use an IV to sedate he claimed to not know of a solution outside of going to the "University". He was pushing to do the extraction that day and, "give it a try." I asked him multiple times to give him a chance to tell the truth. So which is worse? He lied about not knowing the name of a peer in his field with more training or he doesn't know. Clearly he has no regard for the principles that guide most physicians and dentists to do no harm and do good on behalf of the patient. Dentists are just sales people masquerading as doctors.

A very terriable and unethical detist I have ever experienced…read more My 7-year-old daughter Joy has been seeing this pediatric dentist Paul Kennedy in Kirkland for the past 3 years. She had had routine check-ups, teeth cleaning, and even 3 cavities filled in in the past. Yesterday I took Joy for another cavity tooth filling as scheduled. As always, my daughter cried a lot and not very cooperative due to uncomfortableness . The dentist dug a bigger hole in one of her upper teeth and this made her cry a lot. Out of the blue, the dentist stopped his work and announced that my daughter was not at an appropriate age for this kind of dental work, even though she had been through the similar operation before. He wrote a referral letter for a specialist in pediatric dentistry and kicked us out of his clinic even though I bagged him to at least complete the job. I took my daughter in the car and explained to her that she would go home with an unfilled tooth unless she cooperated with the dentist. My daughter promised that she would give it another try. We went back to the dentist office and explained to Dr. Kennedy that I hoped he could at least complete this tooth before I can find another pediatric dentist and Joy will try to cooperate as much as she can. I explained that it's hard for me to find and schedule a substitute in such a short period or time. More importantly, I don't know what negative impact this hole can bring. The dentist claimed that his assistant had left for the day and he didn't think he can complete this work today. At this point, we were his last patient and he had one receptionist and another dentist in his office. If the doctor started a procedure they did not complete, that is patient abandonment which is unethical and against the law. The doctor has the right to refuse treatment if they feel your child is not age appropriate (or a number of other reasons), but once begun, they cannot terminate treatment already begun without making arrangements themselves to get it completed (and almost certainly not in the middle of a procedure).This is definitely unacceptable no matter the behavior of the child .

I came into the dentist needing a crown for one tooth. Should have gone with my gut extinct from the crazy dental gymnastics they have you do to get x-rays, but I was reassured from a friend that the dentist would be better. The friend was wrong. The dentist had his earbuds from his phone in his ears while he was doing the dental work for my crown. Two weeks later, when it was time to put the crown on my tooth, it was discovered that the crown was too large. So to make it fit, the dentist drilled off an entire corner and most of the surface of the tooth underneath it, which had no issues until it was drilled to the nerve. That tooth has never recovered and I can feel pain from everything that touches it. Meanwhile the tooth above it with the crown is constantly rubbing against my cheek. This dentist is not gentle, careful, caring, or considerate. I would advise you to consider another dentist and not endure the trauma that I went through and am still going through until I get enough funds to have more dental work done somewhere else.

At which time I informed her of difficulty I had with obtaining an appointment...I had called Friday before Labor Day, and left a message, and I had been online to leave a patient message asking for an appt...to which she responded, "well that is something I should have responded to, but I have no memory of any messages" At which point I said that due to her inability to offer a timeline, I was going to leave...to which she responded in an argumentative manner that I had no understanding about medical or dental emergencies, and should be more patient...to which I responded I have been a Registered Nurse for 40 years, and I do have an excellent understanding of medical emergencies, and effective communication skills. In my years of Nursing, my communication skills would have led me to offer to make another appt due to the unfortunate situation, or suggest I go pick up some coffee, tea, or some other drink, or asked if I could get them something... My past experience with Dr Miller is that she is an excellent dentist....but her new primary Gatekeeper is pretty darn snotty... I really hope Dr Miller will pay attention and avoid more patients abandoning her practice, as I intend to do...

Jamie always answer my texts (yes they text, it's great!) and again, treat me with patience and understanding. I have had multiple procedures done through them, preventative care, fillings, and implant placement. My implant crowns are perfect, they look exactly like my other teeth- really awesome quality.
