On our way back to Montana, when there was an issue with the undercarriage of our 2016 Subaru Forester. It was later in the afternoon, when we called about our issue. I had a great experience buying a car at Phil Meador. I want to thank Alex Pollard who helped me every step of the way and made the process painless. I was having difficulty finding the Outback I wanted, so when I saw that they were having one delivered later that month I went to the dealership. Alex arranged for me to put down a deposit and then he let me know when the car arrived (right on schedule). They broke the clamp to my computer and taped it together- they also said that I "would have to replace my computer soon" which is a lie, they just want more money out of me- last year I paid around five grand to fix my car with them and they said it would drive like new. Then when it had problems and I took it in, they talked to me like I was at fault for not going to them for oil changes (went to a reliable competitor for cheaper) so then they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car- another LIE- because when I got it back I plugged it into a device that gave the correct code to what was wrong and the gas petal came up three times- so I know they had to of known the same- they also asked about the gas petal while my car was with them- like as if they knew just by looking at it but with "no code/no idea it was the petal"... They asked where I got my gas petal (it was bought from them! Yes installed at home but because it wasn't in their system they thought they could somehow pin me for this) This dealership sucks- they lie and break your things and try to get more money out of you read more

I made arrangements to drive up to Pocatello from Northern Utah and purchase an outback they had in stock that was a perfect match for what I wanted. However, I was unable to make the appointment because I got sick with coronavirus. When I was feeling better I contacted the dealership again and explained what had happened with my health and that I still wanted the outback if it was available. I was told it was and made arrangements to put a deposit on the vehicle. I was unable to make the deposit on the vehicle that day because of scheduling . The next day I received a text message from the sales person that had been assisting me telling me I had wasted her time and that I would need to find a different dealership to do business with. I have never been treated so rudely and felt so humiliated. I will never contact the dealership again and offer a warning to be aware of this dealership to anyone considering visiting them. read more

My Subaru Outback had an issue related to the transmission/engine temperature on my way up to another city (coming from Utah). Kyleigh talked to me right away and got me in the system fast (almost no wait time), they put me in a loaner car so I wouldn't be too delayed in my work trip, and then resolved the issue within a day!!! They did a service tune up as well and it was all affordable. 100/5 stars for me. Went looking for a Subaru outback H6, i saw on auto trader that this dealer had a low mileage 2001 Subaru outback H6 with 88,000 miles for sale for $8900. Now I am in Sacramento. This dealer is in Idaho. i called Julie and said what is your best price, lets not screw around. She came down to 7900, best price we can do I was told. In Sacramento this same car would run at least $11,000 to $12,000 dollars with this low mileage. i gave her a credit card number and put down some cash to hold the car. i flew to Salt Lake City two weeks later, rented a car and drove two hours to Pocatello. I was impressed with he car. i picked it up and drove through Yellow Stone, Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole the next day. I noticed the cruise control did not work so I contacted the dealer and I was told to bring it back the next day. Their service department changed out a control module this morning and I left Pocetello Idaho today and made it to Sacramento by 10:30 this evening. Was it worth it to go to this extreme to buy a car? A plane ticket for 160 and a car rental for 100. i saved a bundle of money, had a nice little mini vacation and got a great car. Would I do this again? The sales staff was great, their service department jumped on my car this morning as soon as I drove in and fixed the cruise control. I would not hesitate to make another trip up there to make another purchase. This was a screaming deal. The suby,, got 24 miles to the gallon back to Sac at a average speed of 75 and this is a 6 cylinder. The service I got at this dealer, from Julie who sold me the car to the service department, just can't say enough good things. I'm very happy with this purchase.... If your looking for a suby,,, give Julie a call. a minor note ( beware ... the 4 cylinder models, 1998 to 2009 models, they have head gasket issues,,, very expensive repair, the 6 cylinder does not have this problem) Do your homework,,,, no matter what you intend to buy.... 5 words describe my recent experience at Phil Meadow Subaru : "Best car buying experience ever!" I don't live in Idaho but rather in a border state. I had occasion to be working in the Pocatello area and wandered into the dealership to check out a car as we had been thinking about buying a new vehicle in the next few months and just wanted to start casually checking different models out as I had some time off from work. I wasn't thinking about buying so quickly but because of the experience that was so positive and the variety of vehicles available, I did end up buying a new Outback. All I can say is that not only was everyone friendly and professional, but really are committed to getting their customers what they want. I want to personally give a shout out to Eric, my salesperson, who was laid back, funny, and completely not a high pressure sales guy and most importantly listened to what was important to me as a buyer. I just can't say enough about how awesome Eric was to deal with. Also shout out to Israel who was really awesome as well. Now, most people might find that "pushy," but after another Subaru dealership-in another town-had completely ignored me, I found this promising! I bought a used Certified 2007 Dodge truck from this dealership. I feel I got a decent price. Beautiful showroom and I didn't feel bombarded with volture-ish salesman. I do wish some of the issues I had with the truck on singing were handled differently but i guess a used truck will have a few issues. Anthony was a good help in my venture and everything went very smoothly. The service department was very upfront and honest. They also treated my wife very well when she had come back to try and fix a few issues we had with the truck. The cleanliness and updated/new showroom was also a comfortable kid friendly area. I can't even begin to explain how horrible their service department is, on top of trying to sell me upgrades that weren't needed ( new tires and breaks that I had replace 6 months before my visit so I knew were fine) I take my car there to have a diagnostic done on it, which when you have a diagnostic done on a car you expect to pick it up in the condition you dropped it off in and when I tell them I'm coming to get my car because I'm not ready for the repairs at this time, they parked my car in the parking lot with out putting it back together not even putting the parts in the trunk and not informing me they had kept said parts I only found out bc I noticed oil all over the tow truck and I popped my hood to see what was missing, they decided to keep my Down pipe / cat, charge pipe, oil pan, engine covers with out even saying a word ( in my mind stealing bc if I hadn't noticed they were missing I wouldn't have gotten them back). Then when I call the service department they were so nice to offer to put my car back together and charge me for it after I pay for towing to and from the lot because they neglected to tell me it was in pieces before I picked it up. Don't ever do business with them, they are shady and will try to sell you stuff you don't need and turns out if you don't inspect your car after a visit you might not notice if they've stolen parts off your car.
