It wasn't overflowing or anything like that. I didn't empty my trunk or something crazy--it was a small amount of garbage that had been in my front seat. The moment I step inside to buy some items, the clerk meets meet at the front door to tell me they "don't appreciate " me using their garbage bins throw away garbage. I replied "then I guess you don't need to appreciate my business either" and walked out the door. Just a rude & annoying way to start my day, and I won't be returning to this location anymore because of it.

So there is no waiting for the stoplights to change! Even when it's busy I seem to be always able to find an open pump. It's been a rough winter so there has been a few out-of-order pumps this year but I think that is too be expected in the 15 below temperatures. One thing I found out this year, credit card readers don't work well during a polar vortex. The attendants inside are friendly so going inside to pay is not a problem. I recommend signing up for a BP Loyalty card. The program is free and you get 5 cents off per gallon on every other fill-up. Yes, it's only 5 cents but you have to take any discount you can get, right? Just remember to swipe your BP card before swiping your payment card.

After a long journey up here and then filling up my car, I went inside to see about their washroom. I was told, "we do not have a washroom." Really? Even with COVID a gas station is supposed to have a washroom. That's part of the deal!
