You Need To Read My Story. I had a few chains and rings from various family members that I thought to both utilize and honor them I would find a Jeweler that had the skill and equipment to melt them then mold them into a single neck chain. In my search I discovered there wasn't many in the Tampa/Clearwater area capable of performing the task, but after reading online reviews I went to Philipson's to check them out and I got a good vibe right-away. After explaining my intensions to the owner Mike and his staff they explained how they are equipped to and experienced to perform the re-creation for me. Now obviously I was not comfortable in turning over my families personal heirlooms to strangers but felt more comfortable with each interaction, the pricing was moderately high but manageable, and the turn-around time took less than 30 days. When I saw the completed work I must say that I was impressed as it turned out better than I expected - also provided with extra's, and even polished my medallions. Gave my Rolex to them for routine service. Had to take the watch back three times to have it accurately timed...and it's still off. Rolex is notorious for inaccurate timepieces, yet, my watch kept good time last year so I know this watch can be right on. However, timing has not been improved and I am not convinced they even sent it to their repair guy when I took it back the third time. They said they called me 3 days after I gave it to them but the call did not go through. No record of a call on my cell. They did not text me, they did not try to call me the next day or next week. So they made one unsuccessful call and then for almost one month the watch sat in their store. i let them have it for a month because I thought they were actually working on it. This is not a Casio, so I guess I expected a different level of service. read more
