My extremely happy wife displaying her Valentine's gift
    Brian R.

I can't say enough about how great this place is. I came in with a minimal budget to pick up a Valentine's present for my wife, not only were they friendly, and helpful, they were able to meet my budget while providing me with an absolute prefect gift I'd have never been able to find at the mall. Great selection, great pricing, locally owned, so the money you spend stays in the local economy. I've already decided to go back to buy her a replacement engagement ring for the one she lost years ago. Well done guys, keep up the good work! I should note, the gift in the picture below is the butterfly bracelet. Backstory time. My wife lost her mother to cancer back in June. They were incredibly close, and it's been devastating for her. Back when we were married ages ago, my mother in law bought us a "butterfly release" where you are mailed a bunch of monarch butterflies, and you release them as a group. When her mother passed, my wife returned the favor by releasing butterflies at her celebration of life, so butterflies have a great deal of significance for her. I still can't get over how they had exactly the right gift for her...

The perfect ring for the perfect women

Payton was extremely helpful in just about every way imaginable. From helping me find the perfect ring, to picking the perfect diamond and creating a custom halo top for it. The ring I received was something out of a movie, couldn't be happier with the final outcome. The whole Phillipson family made my anxiety fade as they knew what I had pictured in my mind and made it a reality for me! If you want quality jewelry great prices and an amazing costumer experience, you should absolutely shop here!

    Salt pepper diamond

Best price. Contacted over 40 shops and they were best price by far. Came out perfectly. They were able to find the perfect salt and pepper diamond.

Glad to see that a true family business still exits! I didn't know where to begin when it came to knowledge of diamonds but the Philipson's walked me through the process and created the most beautiful engagement ring for my fiancée. Their customer service is amazing and I will continue to go back for other pieces!

    Engagement ring

Payton and family are great! Went in to look at engagement rings and just received the perfect one with help from the Philipson's Jewelry team. Very patient and respectful family environment. Definitely recommend to support this local business!

Exquisite custom work. They went beyond our expectations and delivered a custom engagement ring that truly set my heart a flutter. This is locally owned company where you are treated like family. If you want something beyond the pedestrian offerings of the big chains, then this is your jeweler.

    Beyond gorgeous....WOW!!!

Customer service is the worst I've received. They have a superiority mentality that's very uncomfortable. Will never return

They even let me design a new wedding ring for my wife using the original ring and other diamonds sold to me from there. I bought a Rolex Watch for almost $1,200 less than the other shops. They also took time to inform me how to identify a fake one from the real ones. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will never spend my hard earned money for jewelry to any other store but Arnolds.

I've been doing business with Arnold's for over six years and have always had positive experiences, until now. I brought in a 14k gold brooch to sell, but Ray didn't even bother to look at it. Instead, he went off on a tangent about losing money on resin-filled pieces that turned out to be fake, which had nothing to do with the item I brought in. He didn't even take the time to actually look at or test the piece. It felt like he didn't want my business at all. I was honestly so baffled I left. When I got home, I tested the brooch again. It definitely was 14k gold. I called the store and spoke with Ray. He told me to cut it in half and if it's hollow bring it back and he'll buy it. If he inspected it from the beginning, he would've known that. The brooch was light and there were two tiny air holes on the back. I've been buying and selling gold for quite some time and know what I'm doing. I returned less than an hour later with the brooch and a 10K stick pin I had shown him at the initial visit. The brooch weighed 5 grams on my scale, but when I asked about the pricing, he said they go by pennyweight. After doing the math at home, it appears I was shorted. I always check the live gold price on their website beforehand, and I feel what I was paid didn't reflect their rate. To make matters worse, the 10K stick pin he had just valued at $58 the initial visit was only paid out at $32. I didn't catch this until I reviewed the receipt afterward. With the amethyst stone removed I know it had to weigh at least 1gram. Should have paid out at about $50 not $32! Over the years, I've recommended Arnold's to many people and even left two 5-star reviews on Yelp and Google. I've always worked with Zack or his sister and never had any issues, which is why this experience with Ben was so disappointing. If I choose to sell here again, I will definitely bring my scale to double check weights and pricing. Especially when dealing with Ray. I'd like to add that we don't just scrap at Arnold's. My youngest has bought Pokémon cards here as well. I have to say, they have an amazing selection. Especially when it comes to the Japanese booster boxes.

Well, Aleigh was actually haughty upon my return to pick up the new ring. She disdainfully took my money and put my ring in a broken store cardboard box. I felt very judged and unwelcome. I'm so sorry I shopped there. There are many other large and small local jewelry stores where I will shop in the future.

Went to another jeweler that said I could not downsize as much as needed because would affect integrity of diamonds on band. In addition, reported no loose diamonds requiring prong work. So, to be certain about what I was being told since such a conflict I went a 3rd place that said the same... can't downsize without affecting diamond integrity on band. (I needed downsized 1.5 for reference and 3 rows of diamonds on band). And also no loose diamonds requiring prong work. As much as I prefer to support local I will not support this jeweler ever as my trust is destroyed and do not recommend unless you want to be ripped off. Especially in regards to jewelry repair.
