The attendant, Ivan, was extremely rude and made us feel as though we were being watched and treated as if we were going to steal something throughout our time in the store. I also felt that the treatment toward us was prejudicial and completely inappropriate. While checking out, I asked about the price of an item because the shelf price clearly indicated a lower price than what was ringing up at the register. Ivan told me the shelf price included tax, which did not make sense, particularly since groceries are generally not subject to New Mexico's gross receipts tax in the same way as taxable merchandise. After we completed our purchase, Ivan followed us and asked whether we had paid for our items, despite having just watched us check out. I went back inside and provided him with my receipts before leaving. He then told me that I was no longer allowed in the store. This was extremely disrespectful and unacceptable customer service. We are regular customers, and there was absolutely no reason to treat us this way. Flying J should seriously address how customers are treated at this location and the lack of professionalism displayed by this employee. Shame on this location for allowing a customer to leave feeling profiled, disrespected, and unwelcome.

Manager did not seem to concerned with this problem in the thoroughfare where people drive to refuel. I suggested they put a cone so a car will not damage their wheels or tires or another person to potentially fall. The cashier however, was very nice and actually apologized for my injury, which is why they get even one star at all .
