Yesterday I took a small metal folding table frame to Johnny's to have the length cut down (from…read more48" to 37"). He had already told me ahead of time $95 per hour and I knew for a job of this caliber and size an hour was ample time to the job, so I was prepared to pay $95.00. When I presented the table to him with the details of what I wanted done, he said it would take him 3 hours. Today I took it to a professional welder who responded to my post on the Nextdoor app. He did it in less than 55 minutes and charged me $65. It's appalling way of doing business. I do hope they are not getting government contracts.

I went to Johnny's boiler shop for a super simple project to bend some tubing for me. They quoted…read moreme a price, which I accepted at that time. I waited 3 weeks before calling them, and was told the person I needed to speak with was at lunch and would call me back. That call never came!!! 3 weeks later, I called again. The secretary told me the foreman was walking out to the shop to check on my project, and he would call me back immediately. That call never came either!!! Needless to say, 3 weeks later AGAIN, I called and was told I'd be called back. Wanna guess if they ever returned my call? NOPE!!! so again, like clockwork, I called 3 weeks later again, about 45 minutes before closing time, and got a recording. I left a nasty message letting them know I'd be leaving reviews so others don't have this same anguish they put me thru. I reccommend ANYONE ELSE.......even if you need to drive to COS or Denver. At least you might actually get your project completed.

I called One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning because my system stopped pushing air throughout my…read morehouse, and they were able to send a technician the same day. The technician showed up and determined the cause was a faulty blower motor and quoted me over $1000 for repair. I agreed and he came back the next day and replaced the motor. When we powered the unit back on to test, he said that he must have gotten a "bad" new motor. As an electrician, I suggested that he just jump power directly to the lead of the 120V motor, and when he did the motor turned on. He then determined that the control board was bad and called Ingles Supply. He had me pay for a new control board over the phone separate from the "company" (an additional $200 cost). While he had left to grab the new control board, I tested the original motor in the same manner to determine that there was nothing wrong with the original motor either. After returning he installed the exact same OEM control board and turned the system on to see if the blower would work. The blower turned on and he decided that he was going to "check" my AC system. He determined that I had an old R-22 system and it was low (reading 35 psi instead of 60 psi I was told). All the original tags were missing on the unit so how he determined the type of refrigerant used confused me. After running around with a leak detector, and being unsuccessful at finding a leak, he decided to add pressure to my system to find the leak by adding nitrogen to the system. He determined that the leak was coming from the evaporator coil (which he kept calling the "condenser"). He then informs me that I should not use my AC system and at least we got the furnace going. He then made an offer, outside of the company, to help me change the furnace if I bought one to do myself. A few days later the temperature dropped enough that I turned on the furnace to heat my home and discovered that no heat was coming out. After calling a few different companies to come and assess my system they determined that the new blower was spinning backwards, which was causing the high limit to trip making my furnace not heat, and that replacement of my previously working AC was my only option. Technicians with other companies assessing my system were baffled as to why the technician with One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning would put nitrogen in my system. While I know my system was older and probably needed replacement soon, the technician from One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning ensured that immediate replacement was my only option going into the summer months. We decided to go with another HVAC company for all our future needs.

I called 4/15/2020 at 4:20PM to request a service call on my furnace that wasn't working properly…read more I spoke with a lady in the office whom set up a apt for 4/16/2020. The lady I spoke with confirmed my address and set an apt for 9am-1pm. She said mostly likely would be 10am, but of course she could not confirm this. 4/16/2020 I called at 1:10pm. I spoke with Jeanine. I asked if she could estimate the arrival time any closer. She confirmed my address and said the gentleman was in Pueblo West on a job, however could not confirm an approx time. I then inquired about their policy "ALWAYS ON TIME OR YOU DON'T PAY A DIME" I asked how they "guaranteed" this policy. Her response was "We don't". I explained I first saw the advertisement on the sticker on the side of my furnace. Jeanine's response was, "Well then that's an old sticker."........sorry for the inconvenience and I will patiently wait for my service. I then dialed a 719-582-8592, Another number for ONE HOUR HEAT. Jeanie answered the phone! "One hour heat, this is Jeanie." I responded with "OH! SO YOU ARE ONE HOUR HEAT!" She immediately placed the call on hold. I waited on hold for about 10 mins before she began telling me about the different prices for different service apts. She began to tell me she had recently been employed and obviously needed a little more training regarding the company policy's and procedures. My call was transferred after request to BOB VIGIL. Whom clarified the policy's. And let me know I ACTUALLY DIDNT EVEN HAVE AN APT SCHEDULED WITH THEM. Bob attempted to make it right and set me up with an apt for this evening. 4/16/2020 My service call was completed by a gentleman Richard. He completed the apt and diagnosed my problem. A Blown inductor motor. Richards opinion was to completely replace the entire furnace. It's 15 years old, who knows what will break next. Richard called Ingle Supply and inquired about my part. I OVERHEARD ingle parts tell Richard, my motor would be $195.00. Richard ended the call and turned around to me and quoted me $550.00 for the part. Richard began telling me I should just get a new furnace. I was anxious about the snow storm coming tonight. I agreed to an APT for a QUOTE on a new furnace. I asked Richard about the part that I needed and what parts store he called. Richard explained me that I COULD NOT PURCHASE THE PART BECAUSE I AM NOT CONTRACTOR. I CALLED INGLE PARTS. I found the part and was told ANYONE CAN PURCHASE. So I purchased the part. For the price of $195.00. And will have take care of the rest myself! I have a PROBLEM with company's that try to SCAM! This is outrageous! When I spoke to Richard as his van as i was making my $89.00 Service charge fee. I joked with him about his office not liking me. He laughed and said Jeanie had told him out our phone calls. Clearly this was an attempt to SCAM! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR ANY FRANCHISE OF ONE HOUR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING.

Next day the workman showed up on time, put "booties" on and gave me an estimate on my project. We have been extremely disappointed with our experience with this company over the past year, and…read morethe attached photos show exactly why. We were on a paid service subscription and had multiple technicians in our home for inspections and maintenance, including a furnace inspection approximately one month ago. Despite repeatedly calling about a furnace leak we noticed early on, we were given different explanations by different technicians, and the issue was never properly identified or resolved. The photos attached were taken today and show extensive rust, corrosion, water damage, and a heavily contaminated blower fan. These conditions were documented today by both another HVAC company and by this company's own technician. Rust, corrosion, standing water, and this level of dirt buildup do not appear overnight, nor do they develop in the span of a single month. This raises serious concerns about how thoroughly our system was actually inspected under the service plan we paid for. One of the most alarming incidents occurred during a prior service visit when a technician was working inside our furnace while my husband and I were present. The technician stated the blower motor had shorted out and bypassed the system by connecting it to other wiring. The blower motor immediately caught fire in front of us. We were forced to retrieve and use our own fire extinguisher. The blower motor was replaced due to this incident, and we were charged approximately $800 for the repair. Ultimately, after another visit today, we sought a second opinion once the technician left and were told the damage has progressed to the point that our entire furnace and AC system must now be replaced. Had the leak and corrosion been properly identified and addressed when we first reported concerns, it is very possible this situation would not have escalated to a full system replacement. Another ongoing issue was sales pressure. During routine inspection visits, technicians were required to present three different quotes each time, which felt inappropriate and predatory during what should have been maintenance appointments. Based on our experience, the service subscription did not deliver what was promised, critical issues were missed, and trust was ultimately lost. We can no longer recommend this company.
