I ordered the large Curry Chicken & Oxtail plate with white rice and cabbage; my friend ordered the same minus the Curry Chicken and the Mac & Cheese. To a pleasant surprise the food tasted just like I was in the hills of St. Catherine Jamaica bringing back memories. It was a warm memory of home. I topped the meal off with a tall bottle of guava and carrot punch and also a cold water on the side. The food without having to brag much was a maxing, I will be cake once again to Jacksonville and I will have to stop by this establishment to get a little taste of home. The vibes of the restaurant were cool and relaxing, the dining area quiet and clean to include the restroom. I ended up staying at this establishment for over two hours studying and laughing outside while enjoying my meal, the staff was super nice, and I have to say they checked on my table a few times just to make sure we were ok. With some small take I got to know one of staff members was from my area from back home we went to the same schools and grew up in the same community. My kids bought many of their dorm essentials from this store when they moved in. We also found the large zippered moving bags to be inexpensive and incredibly useful for move-in day.

While the exterior doesn't necessarily reveal the level of aging, when you get inside the mall you noticed pretty quickly but this mall is likely on it's downturn. There are several closed, or seemingly closed stores, and most of the traffic seems relegated to a couple of the larger department stores like H&M and Belk. A lot of empty kiosks in the middle of the walkway with the rest of them being occupied by local vendors that didn't seem to be getting much business at all. And if teenagers are still headed to malls on Saturday's to hang out, this is clearly not the mall that most of the local teenagers here hang out in as the traffic was surprisingly light for a Saturday - I just realized that may appeal to certain readers of this review. Lol. Anyway, unless you are visiting a specific store in this mall as a destination, I would probably suggest finding one of Jacksonvilles bigger malls for a true mall experience.

The other I had to wait about 20 minutes for (Juliana's Special Standard) as they were very behind on everyone's orders. It looked nothing like the picture and very rushed. I took it anyways and didn't hassle for a refund but I wish I did as I ended up basically reconstructing the whole bouquet myself to make it look presentable and not like a grocery store purchase. Both of the bouquets were also missing the bows and butterfly's shown in the picture I requested them to make from their website. I understand it's a busy holiday, but when I pay this amount of money and it's the most requested holiday for flowers out of the whole year.. you should be more prepared. I'm very disappointed, I wish I would've asked for a discount or a refund for the second bouquet it was terrible quality.
