That didn't happen until The owner was aware that the problem was the alarm system that was causing my van not to start. Owner and team personally took care of me and my 2015 Chevy Silverado Truck, I had a broken radio, so they suggested a plain radio or an opportunity for me to upgrade to I phone connect radio, which I went ahead with it. I want to make sure this new radio do not interrupt with my other funtions of the truck, such as rear view camera etc...at the end of the day, they did a good job, I have a new radio that is compatible with my phone and a clearer rear view camera, and all of the function for the truck is in tack. some gauges will no longer show on the radio, such as fans for air, and radio cannot be played with the navigational system unless you load a FM or AM software to the Apple platform, but overall very happy with the team's professionalism and timeliness, mostly they care about what they do. read more

Unbelievable. This is not only the best experience that I've ever had at a car audio business, this is the best customer service experience I've had, period. I had a laundry list of problems when I went to High End Vine, including being quoted amounts way over what they themselves set as prices when I called their NJ location (basically only lowering stuff from 150-200% to their normal price if I questioned it), having them lie about why this was with nonsensical answers that weren't even well though-out. High End's customer service was terrible, a bunch of games (it's absurd how shady these got) to lock me in there and then keep charging more, not to mention how many things they messed up or dropped the ball on. It was a circus and incredibly stressful. At Philly Car Toyz, who I went to after pulling work from High End, I felt like I could finally relax. They're all AMAZING people. Genuine, decent, fair and the most important part: incredibly knowledgable. I can't stress that last part enough, though all of it was beyond what I've ever experienced, even at the best businesses I've patronized...I mean they bought me lunch while I was waiting ffs. But even though the lunch thing was consistent with how they treated me with everything else, and customer regard is very important, lunch is not why someone is reading this review. The big question is price and expertise. They charged me less than HALF of what High End was going to (and I know High End's charges would've undoubtedly gone up as the job progressed). Everything about the sincerity and decency of Philly Car Toyz would have been enough for me, even if they had average technicians. However, their main technician Mike is insanely knowledgable, practical and has the customer's satisfaction front and center. He puts everyone else's knowledge that I've met in car audio to shame (though his expertise spans so many areas other than audio, and that's what you want). Not to mention he's willing to go above and beyond in terms of the actual workload. From now on, for anything I need related to non-essential car services, I will be going no where else and will recommend them to anyone I can. Mike is the man! Called on a Wednesday to see if he could put a remote start in a Ford Fusion. He got me in on Friday and added the function into my original key fob. I had originally looked into using Best Buy. They were $30 more and would not have been able to put it in for three months plus i would have had an extra fob to start the car! Can't say enough good things about Mike and his staff. Super friendly and customer focused, and was very accessible. I had an issue and Mike we out of his way to help remedy it. For starters, he took me in as a walk-in within an hour and a half of closing. Then when they ran into a programming issue with the vehicle he was working on, and were on hold for 40 minutes waiting for tech support, he was honest enough to tell me he wouldn't be able to get to my jeep. Instead of just hittin me with a "my bad" and "when can you come back", he first apologized, then asked when I could come back, and THEN gave me a discount on my installation (Sub and Remote Starter) In addition to the discount, we worked around my schedule and the far distance I was coming from work to make sure they could get me done. I needed my radio replaced or at least I thought I did however the tech did not bother to investigate to see what the issue was with my car. I dropped my car off at 9:49 am for a 10:00 appointment I had to call by 1:45 to find out what was going on with my car the tech then says I've been busy let me go work on it now so at 3:00 I just went there to see what the status was with my car the tech said he could not fix it and did not ha e tine to explore other avenues to see what the issue was but he believes it's the fiber optic system so he then say bring it back on a day that I'm less busy and I can explore more but your bill is 100.00 I will never ever go back k to this crook again. Since the weather is changing its freezing when i leaver the house in the morning. Decided to get remote start installed into my car. My mechanic recommended this place. I stopped by spoke to the owner he gave me a price $$$ asked if they could install same day yes. I asked if deposit was needed nope past when you pick up the car. Provided my information he said it would take a few hours and he would call when the car was ready. Left the car and headed home. Later in afternoon I go it a call the car was ready. Went to pick it up as I was leaving my car wouldn't start. So technician opened the hood and checked the developed couldn't figure out why my car kept turning off. I came back two days later technician opened the hood and figured out why the device wasn't working. Everything was complete in 30 minutes. I got quote on window tint and custom headlights.
