I really wanted to love Philly Freeze-Me, but unfortunately wasn't impressed. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon looking for a refreshing treat to beat the heat. Upon entering the shop, I was blasted with the overbearing smells of incense and glade plug ins. This is extremely off putting for a dessert shop and made me wonder why they needed all the additional scent. It didn't come off as a dessert shop at all, and the decor was almost too modern and sterile. They also lacked any actual tables and only had lounge seating. There are a number of flavor options, including alcohol infused ice and sugar free options. I ordered a summer freeze in the smallest size (large). My biggest complaint is the artificial tasting ice flavors. They tasted good, but didn't taste like what they were supposed to. The flavors tasted muddled and it was hard to taste all of them when you had to eat more than half the cup to get to the last 3 flavors. Overall, I unfortunately won't be back in the near future.
Yummy!! I had a random pregnancy craving last Sunday afternoon and saw that Philly Freeze Me moved to the arts district! Paid around $12 for 2 small cups which can have up to two flavors. We chose cotton candy for one and a mix of grape and watermelon in the other. The employees were nice, however I saw her get 3 orders slightly incorrect, consecutively (ours included), but she had no issue fixing the mistakes. Italian ice is the perfect mix between like shave ice and ice cream. Somehow creamy and sweet but not heavy. So so yummy and hits the spot during Vegas summers.

Went in yesterday after seeing this all of my instragram and I will say this place did not fail!!! The lady working last night was super nice and caring. Their flavors are so genuine and not artificial tasting!! The watermelon & cotton candy mix was the way to go. Will be back with the whole fam. Definitely going to be our fav new place to go.

I went to grad school in Philly and have a lot of fond memories of eating water ice during the summers I spent out there. So, Philly Freeze-Me is such a godsend. They have a great product, exceptional customer service, and the new DTLV location is absolutely beautiful. I actually had a friend (who's a Philly native) in town visiting a couple months ago, and I brought her here. She absolutely loved the shop's authenticity, and we happened to show up during their Distro Movie Night. So, we got to watch about 30 minutes of the classic film House Party, while eating our water ice al fresco. Epic! Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars Ambiance: 5 Stars
My family and I come here every time we visit Vegas because it is absolutely the best ice cream in a town the icy smooth flavors are absolutely delicious!! We love trying the new flavors and sharing delicious experiences. Some of my favorites include the sour apple, tigers, blood, lemonade and watermelon. The staff is always so friendly and patient with the large family orders and they have the best size slushies of all sizes. We've met the owner and such a nice humble man. We love to support small businesses. Jenga and outdoor activities make up most of the vibes in freeze me! It's a great way to wait for your ice cream and share some mems with a Jenga stacked tower! 10/10 will be coming back probably on this vacation.
We live in South East but my husband comes every week especially during the summer time! The ice is so soft and the flavors are very refreshing. Perfect for a hot day or dessert! You can even spike it up :) The inside is very nice and chill with R&B/ old school music playing and so is the outside patio if it's not too hot outside.
This is my son's second visit to this business in five or six days which confirms he likes it. The air condition is blowing the music isn't. It has a nice vibe. The location is perfect in between the art district and downtown so hopefully it's a catch all. There are a lot of choices as far as the flavors as well as the portion the prices are low so I would encourage you to take advantage of this while not many people know about them because as the summer progresses, they are going to be going to be popular. The customer service is OK. They're not overpowering or overbearing. They allow you to peruse the selection and are available when you need them.

This is good but very sweet. I ordered the medium size and wished I had gotten the small. I definitely wasted a lot of it. I could only handle so much of it since it is very sweet. This would be great on a hot summers day. There should be more lighting outside, but the inside is very nice. There are a few areas to sit while we were there. There was a movie playing, but also some cool music with four TV screens making one huge screen for the music videos. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Absolute love me some Philly freeze me! The new location downtown is super cute. They have giant Jenga and an outdoor area. It's to hot right now but eventually I'd def sit out there. Super cool vibe , once I walked in they had a dj and some other events going. I'm just there for the freeze me though lol. I'm not mad at catching a vibe and a cup of ice! Also the service is superb , everyone has been kind and they don't mind letting you sample, multiple flavors. Let's talk about the Atomic freeze by far my absolute fav!!!! It's mango , blueberry and cherry #dabomb The texture is so soft and fluffy if that's possible lol. I've loved this place since the beginning , oh and for you boozy folks they have goodies for you too. read more

Philly Freeze Me is definitely worth a stop. The second you walk in, there is a very intense cleaning-product smell and a little muggy, but honestly, I guess that's better than the alternative! The portions are huge for the price, too. I genuinely cannot imagine ordering anything bigger than a small. They also have a ton of flavors, including a few alcoholic options, which is always a fun little twist. The staff was also very patient with our somewhat large, indecisive group! Our group tried: Peach Bellini -- FABULOUS Mango with chamoy and Tajín -- FIRE Watermelon grape -- An interesting combo Cherry and lemon -- More faint than I expected Cotton candy -- You really can't go wrong Chocolate Banana - I wanted to like it, but it was meh. read more

Come 4 the vibes, pick a better flavor than me & bring ur own to-go cup. So lemme explain... Ya girl was fiendin' for a Slushie. Swore this spot had 'em--convinced I seen a machine once. Spoiler: I was hella wrong. Didn't figure that out 'til I got there. -face palm- GPS said I'd arrived but... naw fam. Arrived where? Outside looked like they took the "for lease" sign down and then left. No signs, no pics, no text. Just a building like, "hey girl... maybe." I was finna skate to 7-11 when I caught a lil neon "open" sign. Walked over & just happened to look up... well I'll be damned. The actual sign is huge, 40 feet up, and hidden behind a tree. Who gon' see that? Birds? Bwahaha. Despite the mystery, Yelp said "open." Sign said "open." So I walked in--and yep. #ShockedButGrateful The place is MASSIVE. Givin' "event space that moonlights as dessert shop for tax purposes." Minimal day club furniture. Random step-and-repeat in the corner. No menus on the wall. Very modern-sexy-cool... and empty. I was both confused and intrigued. Like wtf y'all be doing in here & how do I secure an invite?? Menus come as cute bougie lil books, Cheesecake Factory long. Quickly realized this wasn't Slushie territory--it's Italian ice. Which I didn't want. But I'm not about to leave a Black-owned biz empty-handed. I might be confused, but I ain't disrespectful. Flipped through endless pages. Landed on watermelon. Easy. Got my homegirl a "Smoove" too--hella berry flavors. While they prepped it, I snooped. Clean overall, just... teenager energy in the kitchen. The patio? Could host a wedding. A brawl. Both. Bathroom hallway = MVP. Custom wallpaper with pics of the owner, staff, and local celebs. VIBES. Then the plot twist. Lil mama handed me our ices, piled over the brim (yay!). But when I asked for a lid, she said she'd have to cut off the top to make it fit. Asked for an extra cup instead--"I gotta charge you for that." -blank face stare- "...I'm sorry, what?" Either I lose what I paid for... or pay more to take it all home? Ma'am. The Italian ice? Basic. Solid 3. My friend agreed. Other homie said, "Only worth it for the wild flavors--like Hennessy lemonade." All in all... cute spot, big spot. what an elite ice cream shop in Las Vegas! i first heard of Philly Freeze-Me through Yelp app, and i was not disappointed. this shop can be a little hard to find, but it is located right behind the AquaBar. upon arrival, i was greeted with a smile, and the rest of the staff was also hospitable, also greeting us and offering us their recommendations and some samples. i ended up getting their Mango-Strawberry Ice, with caramel drizzled on top the ice cream was so delicious, with its fruity flavors blending well, and the caramel adding that tart taste i personally love. my brother also agrees with my assessment of this shop, and the shop's ambiance also is proof of their happy environment at the end, i thanked the staff, and JB in particular was so hospitable with the other guests. he explained the origins of their shop in Philadelphia, and you can see the Eagles logo throughout the shop, showing their loyalty to the city and its team! plus points because they had Spongebob on read more

We were in Vegas for my birthday weekend this past weekend and freeze me, after all the hype on Tictok was definitely on our to-do list. We arrived Saturday night and was not greeted with a smile at all. There was a woman working there with sparkle shiny stuff in her hair and she just looked absolutely miserable. We weren't greeted, there was a line of people that were lining up in front of the glass display kind of like what you do at Cold Stone and she told all of us at once I'll take your order over here. No directions on who would be served first second or third. The couple in front of us ended up leaving but I did hear them say "man I don't even want to be here anymore she messed it up". We kind of felt the same way. But we were next in line so we stayed. When it was our turn she just said very plainly what could she get for us. We were looking for ideas, inspo, something! She gave us nothing. Just dry energy. We placed our order and sat down. The vibe was so dry and it was really disappointing. In the last 2 minutes we saw someone come in to start assisting. After a little research I figured this was the owner. Tall black man. He handed us our order with a smile and thanked us for coming and how much he appreciated it. I only wish he had been there from the start. Judging by the other reviews I'm wondering if the people mentioning a woman's customer service is the same person. I don't know if she's a co-owner or what but when you are a tourist destination that went viral it is key that you uphold that reputation or it makes that Limelight dim. This is the best summer treat. Starting at like $7, you can get a delicious two flavor Italian ice like dessert. They have cocktail inspired flavors as well as other standard flavors like chocolate and strawberry. But truly what sets this place apart is their team's warm and welcoming nature to every customer who comes in. They will let you sample any flavors that you would like to before buying. Their location has large couches and tvs so you can enjoy your ice within a more temp controlled environment than outside this summer. As for the taste, it was mild but let it melt just a bit if you have a sensitive mouth as it is very cold and frozen. read more

You don't gotta take a flight to Philly for some Philadelphia style Italian ice. Checked on Yelp got led her and was impressed. The woman working was nice and gave us samples eventually settled on the Hawaiian breeze and cherry. They had a few "spiked" flavors for the drinkers. The flavor of the Italian ice honestly was one of the best I've had. I love gelato and ice cream and all things of that variety but honestly Philly freeze me impressed me more after the experience! Hopefully this review captures someone's attention and leads them here lol since it happened to me, and they can enjoy a nice treat. I made a detour and it was worth it. Perfect for the hot Vegas weather! Refreshing and sweet water ice. They have a huge variety of flavors, but I went with the Cotton Candy and Watermelon. I tried the Mango as well, which was really good. Overall, a good experience here! Service was kind and the shop has a couple benches to sit on. Overtime, the Italian Ice got really sweet! So I couldn't even finish a medium sized cup. However, I was glad I got to try two different flavors. read more

The service was great. They let you try the falvor before you pick them as well. The price is worth it for how much you get. They had just opened this location when I went. I was really chill They had outdoor sitting as well with games. I was definitely happy to finally close this off my list of places to try. read more

I love this place!! What a fun find close to my hotel... Born and raised here in Vegas but living in Texas, I found the perfect treat to cool down in this summer heat! I grabbed a large Big Stick freeze and it was so delicious! It's like a soft serve italian ice / snow cone! Cherry, pineapple and mango tastes just like my child hood favorite popsicle! Great price point, plenty to share too! Lisa was so helpful and lovely! Must try spot and can't wait to come back! read more

As a native east coaster I love me a good Italian ice. The flavors here are so good and the portions are huge. The consistency of the ice is perfect too. I've been several times and love every flavor combo I've had. Absolutely worth a try. Even if the Freeze stands for "Freeze put your hands in the air" cuz it's not the greatest area, but so good it's worth a try. Staff is friendly and always has great music playing. read more
Definitely a must try if you like frozen dessert! The ice was well-blended, soft/fluffy/fine, and smooth. I came on a day that was super windy and cold, but apparently they were still quite busy that day according to the lady working there. The size you choose determines the max number of flavors you get to pick. You get to try out some samples before finalizing your selections, but the lady was helpful in making suggestions. Once you pick your flavors, they'll mix/layer/blend them well so that you won't get sick of eating just one flavor. Btw, I loved the mystery flavor. I like my frozen treats to be slightly sour, so this was perfect. read more
I am sad their other location closed it was closer to my home. They have some of the best Italian ice in Vegas and you have the option to get the Italian ice with or without alcohol in it. I love it's always fresh tasting, has great flavor that does not taste artificial and it's not overly sweet. The customer service is great as well. read more
The water ice is perfect for these HOT Vegas summers. There are a variety of flavors and sizes. Service is efficient and I suggest being patient because sometimes only one person is working, but it's worth the short wait. You will have to travel off strip to a semi-sketchy area of town, but it's worth it. Inside is clean with a cool mural. read more
