After dinner with the family, we came here for a late night treat. No customers inside as it was around 10ish on a Monday night. 2 workers were there. Both of them cleaning while keeping busy. As we walked in, we were greeted promptly and were told if you had questions on the menu or if we wanted to sample an ice cream we could. Knowing my other half. He would order the halo halo and I've decided to order just 2 scoops of ice cream. My family got the dirty red velvet with boba shake and another halo halo as well. The halo halo was ok I give it a 7/10. But it had all the ingredients to make the halo halo. Just need to be sweeter. My brother in law said his dirty red velvet was okay. Lol. I wanted to update my review because it's only fair to recognize when a business improves. We recently decided to give ScoopLV another try after several years, and our experience was much better this time. We went right at opening, so service was quick and friendly. There were actually already 2 groups when they opened. The shop itself could use a little refreshing, but the desserts definitely made up for it. We ordered the Ube ice cream, Cookie Monster ice cream, and Halo Halo. The Ube was my favorite--it was creamy and full of flavor. My daughter absolutely loved the Cookie Monster ice cream, and my mom really enjoyed the Halo Halo. I'm happy we decided to give ScoopLV another chance. i used to come here a few years ago and each time i came, i always had a delicious experience with no problems. my most recent experience was a bit disappointing. i ordered the oreo macaroon and it was so hard to break and eat. it was unenjoyable. i came in asking for another flavor of a macroon and the employee kindly provided us another one. that was very considerate. the place is a bit small with limited seating. overall, it's still disappointing that this happened and i will probably not come back again because of the hesitation that the macroon will be hard again. read more

Was on the hunt for something sweet late night and this this happened to be the only thing open in the Spring Valley area. I believe it's Filipino owned with their flavor options. They offer regular ice cream scoop flavors, halo halo, and a wide selection of vegan flavors as well for those with a dairy allergy. We opted for the halo halo which had a mixture of beans, jellies, ice, and ube ice cream. In our opinion it wasn't the most authentic tasting one and it was a little too sweet. We were in there for maybe 2 minutes before that same gentleman very rudely asking if we were ready to order and when we said we needed just a second (because we had never been here before and there are so many flavors) again we were met with attitude. No toppings or anything extra Overall ice cream was good and there was a lot of flavors and toppings to choose from As we were walking out around 6 minutes after entering the establishment we were followed by that same gentleman being extremely extra by locking the door pretty much the second we got our feet out of the door. I like this place. They have Vegan options for the lactose intolerant like myself. My favorite is the Cookie Butter, but they have a lot of interesting flavors like Ube. Their hours are weird though. They open at 2pm. Sadly, I currently start work at 2pm, so my 12pm ice cream craving has to be resolved somewhere else. Haha It's a small place, but cozy. We were over at a friends house and he made mention of ordering some boba as a snack. Turns out he gets it from Scoop LV, a spot I had been meaning to try for some time now. I knew this was my opportunity so I decided to order/try quite a few things. I had a macaron cookie in my cart until I scrolled down to see that they had Halo-Halo. It's been a while since I've had one so I wanted to try this version pretty badly. Honestly, there were things I loved and things I wasn't a huge fan of. I personally like to eat the flan and the ube ice cream first and not mix it in. This I couldn't do with this one because the flan was at the bottom. It was interesting to sip flan through a straw. I wasn't a fan of the langka, it was hard like ginger and tasted weird but I appreciated the beans and coconut (not quite macapuno). I absolutely loved the blending of the milk and ice. I'm going to always want it like this instead of the crushed ice. I also tried the lychee black tea. It was just that and it tasted the way it's described and was pretty delicious. My mans had a banana smoothie and I loved it because it was actual banana and not banana flavor. We also tried a vanilla macaron with strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Calling all coconut fans: they make the most delicious, refreshing coconut slush here! Cups comes in two sizes: the regular is a 24oz (venti). You can add other toppings, jelly etc. I know there are plentyyyyy of other flavors to choose from along with milk teas, ice creams etc but mannnn....as much as I wanna try other items, I'm always gonna go back to the coconut slush. During the same visit, we also ordered halo halo and taro slush. Both were delicious and definitely repeat items. Safe plaza with easy parking stalls. My nephew decided on the regular Chocolate ( I say regular because they do have a vegan option for chocolate). He wanted a topping and chose M&Ms. When I asked hime how it was he said "really good. Taste like chocolate." So there you go, the chocolate is good from the taste of a 10 year old. I am not a chocolate fan so I am sad to say I did not try it. Ok, now on to mine. I felt it would be unfair to get a different flavor and review that. So I got the chocolate chip cookie doh again. I must say, this was what I was expecting the first time. The cream base was a punch of vanilla, loaded with chocolate chips and cookie dough pieces. Not that I did not like my first experience, it was just not this one. This ice cream joint has potential to be better in comparison to other ice cream shops. The vibe feels like an 80s, nostalgic feel with ice cream that is candy and cereal inspired flavors. Some unique flavors that you won't find in other ice cream shops. The downside is that it does get crowded with kids and teenagers. The place is dimly lit with fluorescent lighting and it feels like it is too dark in there. The staff seems to be disorganized and there is no sampling. How am I supposed to know what ice cream flavor I like if I am unable to sample? There is an ice cream menu, however, they are out of 1/4 of the flavors listed on their menu and crossed off the list. Overall, we enjoyed our flavors. The ice cream is creamy and just the right sweetness. I ordered the captain crunch, my sister ordered the coconut and my brother ordered the taro. They let me try different vegan flavors ,which I thought that was awesome...They explained each flavor that I had questions about and were extremely friendly and gave a cool back story on the cool art on the walls of the store.
