4/2021 Tons of offstreet parking at this Philly Pretzel Factory. I decided to use this Philly Pretzel to order a rivet platter and 10 large pretzel since it was on my way to 95. I was a bit disappointed since all my rivets and pretzels were very overcooked (border of burnt). My family (which had the large pretzels) didn't mind much as they only had a few. The party where I took the rivet tray .. ate a few but 90% was left over and I'm sure due to many darker pieces. It's sad because close to $40 wasted and I never had rivets left over. Doubt I will be back since they gave me a huge tray of dark pretzels to serve. The staff was very friendly. The store was nicely set up. read more

Came here for a Phill pretzel since this was the closest place to Lincoln Financial field. My wife wanted a cinnamon pretzel but they didn't have any so we ordered 5 pretzels for $3. You really can't beat that. But pretzels were good with just the right amount of salt. I'll probably try some other pretzel places on my next trip back. I really hope not all pretzels are like this though. read more

This location AVOID AVOID! They are rude! We were there and ordered 100 pretzels and Jillian the wicked female who worked at the front was soooo unbelievably rude to the point that I'm going to the better business bureau! We were treated horribly. Timmy the cook was great and that's the only thing that was good about this location. I called and asked for a manger she says Why? I said because you were very rude to my parents she said ok and hung up the phone on me. We traveled all the way from California for a funeral and we ordered 100 pretzels to take back home for friends and family and this is the way we are treated. Someone needs to contact us and answer for this ridiculousness. ASAP! I called and spoke with some guy named Romeo he was also rude and he is the one in the picture. read more

15 pretzels for $5?! Yes please! The only thing wrong with this situation is my limited stomach capacity. I didn't know how good I had it when I was living in Philly. Now, I long for a good soft pretzel and eat my fair share every time I'm in the area. Franchises like Auntie Anne's get a lot of publicity but a Philadelphia native knows that these are some of the best pretzels you'll find anywhere in the world. Add the fact that they offer a cheesesteak stuffed pretzel and you've got something extra special. Support your local Philly pretzel place. I tasted a lot of pretzel's from the Philly Pretzel Factory but when I came to this place, I thought nothing bad would happened to me as I bought my plain pretzel with a chocolate dip - boy was I wrong. I spent 3 hours sick to my stomach and had to be rushed to the hospital which turned out that I had food poisoning. I didn't eat anything after the pretzel as I thought back to it. These are imitation soft pretzels with tons of ingredients that don't need to be there. It's a pretzel, it doesn't need 20 ingredients! There are better and more authentic soft pretzel options in Philadelphia. Don't eat this trash. read more

Really pretty great. These are the separate kind, not the stuck-together kind. Love them. Haven't had one in a while because of the pandemic and REALLY miss them. Also, last time I was there they had a "be nice to Muslims" sticker on their door (I think it was) so thumbs up for that. read more

Will NEVER again patronize this location. A semi-frequent purchaser of a box of 50 pretzels, I arrived one morning with Literally no cars in the parking lot (actually thought at first they might be closed) and no one in the store except the counter girl and the Pretzel maker. I asked for a box of 50 with at least 125 pretzels in full view on the front table (where they take the pretzels for customers). The young lady asks "fifty?" I said "yes, please". She says "um" and turns to the Pretzel maker and says "he wants 50." The Pretzel maker says something inaudible to me, and then the young lady turns to me and says, "it will be about six minutes." I purchase these typically for a crew of people who work on commercials I appear in. It's my thing, and they appreciate them. I had a call time and with a distance and traffic, six minutes would have made me late. I said quietly, "Aren't they right there?" She began to answer "Yes, but." At which point, I waved my hand and said "that's fine" and left. "But" what? You had the product; I wanted to purchase the product. When I first began buying these in boxes of 50, I had called the previous night and asked if I needed to preorder that quantity. I was told, "no, just come in." And every other time I had done just that. It makes NO sense to deny a customer standing in front of you with NO other customers in sight because you are worried you miiight run out in the next six minutes IF you had a number of Potential customers show up. It's a franchise, but it's authentic. Like anything baked, just try and go during a busy period to grab some fresh from the oven. If you go on a slow day like sunday, you'll probably get cold ones,but go figure. I've never liked anything but the pretzels-grab the buttercream dip,it's like some secret heaven. As far as Uyen's comment, it's really really (really) hard to get food poisoning from a philly pretzel,as its pretty much water and dough. The only potential for food poison causing bacteria would be maybe in the caustic bath the pretzel are dipped in,but they usually keep that stuff ridiculously too hot for bacteria. This Philly Pretzel Factory has the best staff/ employees ever! They are very accommodating, their customer service skills are amazing and they seem to enjoy their job. Which, is more than I can say about other Philly Pretzel Factory chains in the area. I highly recommend this store and I highly recommend the cinnamon pretzels. And if by chance they don't have any made they are more than happy to make them for you. The manager even told me to call ahead on my way home from work so he can have them ready for me when I get here. And I'm not buying large quantities, so this is why I say their customer service is second to none! read more

Not a whole lot to say about this place. They sell pretzels. You go in, get a pretzel, or two, or a huge box and leave. There are no tables to sit at, you go in, get a pretzel, and get on with your life. Pretzels are standard from this chain. Very good pretzels. Staff is friendly enough for the twelve seconds you are in there. If you are in South Philly and have a craving for a pretzel, stop off at this place. It's in a shopping center, so parking is never a problem. read more
