I've been hearing about Philly Pretzel for a while. I finally stopped by since it was within walking distance of another restaurant in the neighborhood. So I decided to buy a mini pretzel as a snack to try. I enjoyed it, but it was a little salty. The dipping cheese came with it, a perfect complement to the pretzels. The next time I am in the neighborhood, I will try to get a full-size pretzel. The service was good; the cashier was very friendly and helpful. The pretzels are great, the service ok. The presentation of the pretzels was very poor. The online ordering website pictured an order of 20-25 pretzels neatly placed in rows in a branded box. However, the actual order was placed in a plain brown paper bag. Completely misleading. This is not what we would have selected to bring to the event we were going to. The employees told me the boxes were only for orders of 50-100 pretzels. Corporate should update the website to accurately reflect this. read more

This was one of my last stops in the City of Brotherly Love, and it sent me back home to Virginia with a smile. I live in Center City and used to order soft pretzels at the Rittenhouse location (Samson St). I work in Baltimore/DC and my clients love Philly Pretzels. I ordered large amounts that need to be ready at the buttcrack of dawn so I can drive the pretzels to my clients. The Rittenhouse location messed up so many of my orders from not delivering them in a timely manner to giving me the wrong amount of pretzels...I had to find a Philly Pretzel that didn't suck and that's what brought me to the Passyunk Location. My orders are always ready when I pick up at 6am and my orders are always correct. They also have bags of hard pretzels which I like in case I run out of soft pretzels to give to clients. They can also make initials or other things (hearts/Christmas trees) out of pretzels which are always a hit at Birthday Parties or Holidays. I highly recommend this location! read more

I am delighted to write this review for the Philly Pretzel Factory at Broad Street and Passyunk Avenue. Due to social distancing and living in another state, we were unable to see my sister and my dad on their birthday. Wanting to send something delicious to celebrate their birthdays, I reached out to two other Pretzel Factories first that were a bit more convenient to their location - they refused to deliver. I then remembered there was a location near St. Agnes Hospital. Before the words were fully out of my mouth in talking with the manager, Josh. . . he was perfectly agreeable to providing delivery and was eager to share options and pricing with me. I wanted some soft pretzels for a party. Initially I considered Center City Pretzel Co. but their hours are less convenient and they don't really do the party tray thing either, so I called up Philly Pretzel Factory. Friendly service and a great selection of different trays and mustards. Pricing is not really on the website (annoying) but the guy on the phone explained that most of the smaller trays are $20 and the larger trays are only $5 more. I got a large tray of "rivets" which are like pretzel nuggets. We also got some of the extra spicy hot Dusseldorf mustard. My friends like spicy things and it was awesome; a huge hit at the party. This place is GREAT! The pretzel's are cheap but delicious. Who though you could get 10 pretzels for $10. Traveled to philly from dc and happened to drive by this place. It has a convenient location and plenty of parking. Also I am a big sauce person and they like 10 different sauces to try! The staff was also very friendly! Big home town fans and fun to talk to. I use to buy these wonderful pretzels from the street venders who you could find on many of Philly's busy streets, they would stack them on a long stick and warm them up over small charcoal grills and slather them with yellow mustard, These pretzels filled many a hungry belly for the .50 + tip they cost back then. read more

Great place! Service with a smile. They have a convenient location, and we always make it a point to stop by on our way to the Eagles games and pick up pretzels for the tailgate. The party trays are a hit. The hours are convenient, and they let me order ahead. When traveling for a meeting, I needed to pick up a party tray by 6am. The tray was ready as soon as I walked in, the pretzels were fresh, and everyone in the meeting loved them!
