This is my go to Philly place in P-Cola. They have great service and even when they're busy the food comes out pretty quick. I go here usually once a week with my mentor. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak is my recent favorite but a lot of their other sandwiches are good too. They'll customize it anyway you want. House made fries. read more

While on business in Ft Walton Beach I drove an hour to get to Philly's...TWICE! It's absurdly good. The folks working there are the best. This place isn't anything special on the eyes, but the food is what's important here. One of the best Phillys I've ever had! We were traveling from out of town for a job interview and the staff was so kind and even told my mom she'd pray she got the job. Will definitely return! I have been going here for several years now, my father-in-law introduced me to the place, and I have been going ever since. The best Philly Cheesestak I have ever eaten, although I haven't been to Philly. I have talked with the owner several times and he is from PA, but I don't rember if form Philly or just near there. He knows all about the place where the first Philly Cheesestak was maid and the famous Cheesestake house and all that stuff. There are 4 small tables inside and 2 larger ones out side. They have opened another shop on Nine Mile Road and Pine Forest Road in the Publix Super Market Shopping Mall and it is as good as the one on Creighton Road. This store is a little bigger and has more seating inside, and there are some tables outside as well. The Owners two son's work in the shop on Creighton and he spends his time between the two. He told me that he has the bread shipped in form Philly because he can't find the same recipe bread here and he wants only the best for his sandwiches, as for the meat I don't remember if he said that that comes from Philly also, but like one other reviewer said there is a meat slicer there and I have seen them slicing meat. I go every chance I get when in the nabor hood of either store as one is as good as the other. read more

Delicious subs!!!! Steak & cheese and Italian subs are spot on, and the best in Pensacola. Fries are AMAZING and perfectly done. Great sizes (even a small is a good sized sub!) Only slight downfall is the price. $28 for 2 sub meals - one small sub and one large sub. So a bit pricy for to-go subs, but worth the price in the end. read more

I use to love going here, but ever since they opened their new location near Pine Forest this location has gone down hill. The staff is extremely rude from their phone presence to when you arrive in person. This is a mixed review. I have been here before, a few times, actually. Although the food is normally good, hot, and fresh, today the service left much to be desired. There were flies swarming throughout the restaurant. I understand that it is a food place, and flies are to be expected. But.....I counted no less than 12-15 by the front door, counter, and drink area. I didn't even get a drink, which I am sad to say. The Philly's locations are the only place that I can get my favorite​, Pennsylvania Birch Beer. (Non alcoholic for those who are not familiar) And the staff....well, this was a true case of "when the cats away, the mice will play". The radio station was on a less-than-family-friendly station. And the employees, well, they were dancing along, singing out loud to "put your hands on me".... very unprofessional if you ask me. And to top it all off, the person who took my order sat down on the bench where I was waiting for my food, and put her feet on the seat to take "a load off" as she stated. The other employee (who had huge gauges in his ears) joined her, only to sit and eat the meal he had just prepared for himself. Not once did I see any of the staff wash their hands. Needless to say, this was a $12 meal that will be fed to my dogs. Not once did anyone ask if they could help me, just shoved my food across the counter and said...."here ya go". I am very disheartened by the lack of professionalism in this location. I am sure I will not come back to this location, and will stick to the one on nine mile rd where the owner is on site, and sanitary precautions are followed. Food is good but attitude of people running it is terrible. Call in to order and told to hold on. Lays phone down and waited 11 minutes per my cell phone without anyone coming back and acknowledge your call. In the mean time you can hear employees joking, cutting up and talk, mostly of other people or customers. Call back and say I've been waiting on the phone to order, and expecting a simple "sorry, I forgot you were holding", they give you an attitude that they're doing you a favor to even take your order. This is the best Philly Cheese Steak you can have in NWF. Period. Their rolls come from teh Amarosa Factory in Philly which distributes to the big philly places like Genos and Pat Cheese steaks.
