We have been here a couple of times and both times have been a 10/10! I lived in Sicily for 15 years and can assure people this spot is not overhyped. The bread is perfectly crunch, and every panini I've tried is SO delicious. I love that they have a vegan option that has also been my favorite so far! Plenty of space to sit inside or outside. Very delicious sandwich shop in Pensacola. The bread is crunchy on the inside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are very fresh. You can bring your sandwiches next door to the sister gelato shop and eat there. We also got cappuccinos and gelato there, which was so good. My wife & I stopped in today for lunch after hearing about their Porchetta sandwich. My wife ordered the porchetta which was on fresh focaccia bread, basically it was sliced pork with some giardineira type toppings and arugula. It was not what i would call a traditional Porchetta sandwich. Traditional porchetta starts with a large piece of pork belly, laid flat. Then a small boneless pork loin is butterflied and laid on the pork belly, various herbs including fennel are then placed on it. It is then rolled up, tied together and roasted. The crispy pork belly skin is an integral part of the sandwich along with herbs and juicy meat. $13.00. I had the roast beef sandwich on focaccia bread and it was excellent with perfect med rare roast beef. $15.00. They also own the small gelato shop in the same building. read more

I just recently heard about this place after it received a nod from the Michelin Guide. That's huge in Pensacola. This tiny establishment is tucked away on the south side of the historic Sacred Heart hospital. There's a decent amount of parking on the street, which is good since this place is packed from open to close. There's no seating inside, but they offer outdoor seating with plenty of shade. You've got your choice of 12 sandwiches. That's it. You can't go wrong. I got a prosciutto sandwich and it did not disappoint. I recommend you go and try every sandwich. Close your eyes and just pick or roll the dice, you'll be a winner no matter what you end up eating. Service is good, but you'll wait around 20-25 minutes for your sandwich to be made. Be patient, it's worth the wait. read more

Delicious! Best sandwich in Pensacola. It's even better than the equivalent that's in San Diego (iykyk). The bread is homemade FOR SURE. Crispy edge, chewy center. Yes. And the spread, omg that's what makes it. I got the #8 (no pesto bc it makes me have heartburn), but I replaced pesto with fig spread and eggplant. That fig was fantastic. Whatever u order, get the fig spread.. it will level it up. The orange sauce that comes with the #8 was good af too. Next time I wanna try to salami and other Italian meats. I was playing it safe with the 8 bc it has turkey. Very generous on meat. You're getting your protein in for sure. It's filling. Pricey but worth it. Indoor seating sucks. Hours are too restrictive. I went to Italy in high school, and I ended up getting an octopus sandwich to freak out my family after Google translating the full menu... They make their focaccia bread in house daily and it is just divine. My favorite sandwiches are the #6 tuna, #8 turkey, and #11 roast beef. They also provide vegetarian and vegan sandwich options. The service here is always pleasant and welcoming. When you walk in you are greeting by staff and provided service with a smile. If you have any questions they are more than happy to answer and also make recommendations. The restaurant is located in a big building that used to be a hospital but it's easily accessible on the side with plenty of parking and overall it's a pretty cool vibe. I know this panini shop has great reviews but I have some criticisms. First, the bread is homemade but is toasted to the consistency of a cracker; not at all what I've had on panini shops in NYC. Second, the sandwiches just have too much going on. I ordered a Porchetta but it had so many layers of other flavors that the taste of Italian roast of deboned pork butt stuffed with herbs was completely lost. I couldn't tell if it was true Porchetta or just regular roast pork. Third, management took down its ordering website without posting any online notice customers.
