It is in fact, worth the hype. That's it. Super duper friendly staff and in a really cool building.

Great counter service lunch spot for an Italian sandwich served on freshly baked bread with quality ingredients. We tried the #3 and #5. There's plenty of outdoor seating. You're given a beeper - they buzz you when your sandwiches are ready.

Second time at this amazing Italian sandwich restaurant. I love it when a restaurant decides to do one thing and do it incredibly well. I'll start with the schiacciata bread. You could eat this plain with a little olive oil and be happy. Today I had the L Andante, the turkey. The padano spread was amazing. Simple with spinach and sliced tomatoes. Perfect for lunch. Great staff and a unique location. It's a must visit every time I'm in Pensacola.

Service was friendly and was decently surprised with the sandwich! It was freshly made and was pretty quick. We sat outside as there was plenty of outdoor seating. The inside is small and if you want to eat inside you have to eat at the random tables inside the hospital halls but they provide a lot of seating outside.

Food- Amazing, my favorite sandwich I've ever had. While reading the menu description of sandwiches you may be skeptical or intimidated by all of the flavors and maybe some things you can't pronounce, but fear not these sandwiches are made perfectly balanced and I would recommend ordering them just how they come. The quality of ingredients is top tier: From the freshly sliced meats, to the perfectly ripe and fresh tomatoes, and the star of the sandwich... the bread. They make their focaccia bread in house daily and it is just divine. It's perfectly balanced, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and provides that perfect bite that you like for in a sandwich. My favorite sandwiches are the #6 tuna, #8 turkey, and #11 roast beef. They also provide vegetarian and vegan sandwich options. The service here is always pleasant and welcoming. When you walk in you are greeting by staff and provided service with a smile. If you have any questions they are more than happy to answer and also make recommendations. The restaurant is located in a big building that used to be a hospital but it's easily accessible on the side with plenty of parking and overall it's a pretty cool vibe. There's no seating inside but there's plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your sandwich. A perfect place to enjoy good food and good vibes with good people.

Hands down the best sandwich I've had in my life. Perfect bread. Amazing flavor. Sandwiches are huge, fresh, and delicious. Quick friendly service. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Then get gelato around the corner at Lamonte.

#1 L'Allegretto - Porchetta, balsamic eggplant, caramelized onion spread, arugula, pesto. It's major

Gotta say, I have been searching for sandwich that hold a candle to the paninos in Italy. This one is pretty darn close. Menu is funky (in the best way) and offers fun combos with all the authentic Italian cold cuts and different spreads. The bread is awesome and baked fresh in house. Great work crew, I'll be back!

I have never had a sandwich like this!! I had a hard time choosing since all the combos seem amazing and well paired. I dont think between the four of my friends and I we got one repeat and everyone loved theirs. Fresh bread, authentic and delicious ingredients and fast service. Go next door for some gelato after:)

A Mano Panino was delicious! They are serving up delicious panini with fresh ingredients. Overall great service, quality and speed. Their sandwiches have a a lot of depth and you can really tell they care about what they put in them. The inside was small but clean and outdoor seating was plentiful. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quick meal that tastes great and doesn't break the bank.

Delicious paninis made on house-made bread! The sandwich choices were perfect, and the price was great for the size. Highly recommend!

That was me heading into Angelena's Ristorante Italiano. By this point, I was fully expecting the usual "it's amazing" translation, which in restaurant terms often means nice lighting, tiny portions, and flavors that peaked at olive oil. Instead, this place did the unthinkable. It actually lived up to the hype. The menu reads like a beautiful collection of words I absolutely cannot pronounce with confidence, but luckily fluency in Italian is not required when your taste buds immediately understand the assignment. I went with the bolognese lasagna, and this thing came out like a love letter to comfort food. Rich, bold, deeply flavorful, and gloriously rustic, the kind of dish that tastes like somebody's grandmother has been perfecting it since the Roman Empire. Every bite had depth. Nothing fussy, nothing trying too hard, just serious flavor delivered with confidence. The focaccia showed up doing exactly what great bread should do: crisp in the right places, soft where it counts, and impossible to stop tearing apart even when you know your entrée is on deck. The appetizer played a completely different game, more delicate, more refined, and smart enough to leave me wanting the next course instead of filling me up before the main event. That's restraint. That's craft. That's a kitchen that knows what it's doing. And the room matches the food. Clean, classy, polished without feeling stiff. The kind of place where everything from the lighting to the plate placement quietly reminds you that yes, somebody here cares. Service was equally dialed in. Professional, on point, and smooth enough that the whole meal just flowed. No awkward gaps, no disappearing acts, no "how is everything?" drive-bys while your mouth is full. This is the rare restaurant that survives workplace hype and then casually exceeds it. Five stars. Angelena's didn't just meet expectations, it made my coworkers look smarter for recommending it.

The deck is quite enjoyable for a number of reasons. It is shaded and surrounded by lush vegetation and it's much quieter than inside and more conducive to conversation, especially for folks like me who have profound hearing issues. Service is prompt and attentive here. We decided to share the hot pastrami on rye and the antipasto salad. As you can see from the pic the sandwich is ginormous. So good. The antipasto salad here is unlike any I've ever had in my 77 years! It is composed totally of Capicolla, Genoa, and cotto salami, pepperoni, provolone, Swiss and mozzarella cheese, green and black olives, and artichokes marinated in an Italian dressing. There is no lettuce as in all the antipasto salads I've had before. It is absolutely delicious. We were unable to finish our shared portions of the salad and took easily a whole half portion home to enjoy later. As I'm sure I've said before, there's a reason this store is always packed.

It was actually still lunch, but you could order dinner as well. They change the specials all the time, I enjoyed going for Happy hour before. Not only is there drink specials but appetizers discounted we were too early for that. They had some smaller portion meals for lunch. I tried the sausage stuffed mushrooms in a sauce. I wasn't a big fan , you only get 4, they aren't too big and the filling gets a bit sickening after eating a couple. My Mom ordered Spaghetti & meatballs. Now I thought they are high on Spaghetti, it was the dinner price no lunch spaghetti, . Pasta is cheap but here they are very expensive!! $19.99 for Spaghetti with meatballs. When it came out it looked like they put a dab of sauce on top. My Mom asked for more since it was so dry. (At this point should have asked to see a Manager to show them and see if this was normal but we didn't) If this is the way they serve it they should put it on the menu lightly topped because for $19.99 it wasn't enough for what they charge they had to add over $3.00 more for some more! So after tax and all your talking $25.00 just for a bowl of spaghetti that was ridiculous!! Whoever manages the kitchen should be told unless they are cutting corners for higher profit and people will not go back, I don't like when a restaurant does this. I felt bad for my Mom, she didn't want to say anything but she was having a hard time eating it . She definitely will not want go back , she enjoys their competition Olive Garden they don't charge for extra sauce if needed. So Carabbas I'm sure you will lose more customers by doing this . Very disappointed!
