What a Cleveland gem for those who need GF & DF! However, good enough for all! Despite the distance from me, well worth it!

The interior was small but surprisingly a lot of seating which was nice. I got the cold brew, which was yummy, and all the other drinks were really good as well. The barista was so kind and genuine, he was very patient with us as it was our first time in and he gave excellent recommendations for the bakery. The tahini marshmallow cookie was amazing, such a unique flavor profile and SO GOOD. The oatmeal chocolate chip and brownie were also great, and it was so cool that they bake the goods in house and offer so many GF and Vegan options. This coffee shop is definitely a cool place to check out and the people are so kind. They also had such an awesome holiday menu and variety of fun goods to try. I will be back for sure when I am in the area!!

There's one long table, three small round ones and a little children's area. The vegan cinnamon roll was delicious, definitely not missing out on anything by not having dairy in the frosting. Standard black coffee was good, I can tell they use quality beans. They also have some specialty drinks, including flavored matchas (a popular order this morning). We split a cherry matcha, which was layered with pie filling. I don't generally go for matcha, but I did enjoy it with the addition of cherry. Only one person was working for the first hour or so of business on a Saturday, so there was a brief wait for an matcha or espresso drink or toast. Not a big deal at all to wait five minutes in this pleasant space, but heads up if you're in the habit of stopping for coffees when running late for something (hey, we've all done it). WOULD recommend starting your weekend at this cute women-owned shop!

I tried one of the Egyptian dishes - kushery ($18) - and it was delicious! If you are vegetarian…read moreand/or have vegetarian friends, I highly recommend this dish. Even as a regular eater of meat, I found this dish so satisfying and filling. In case you don't know, kushery is a whole load of carbs; the dish has rice, macaroni, lentils, a slightly spicy tomato sauce, garlic vinegar, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions. The whole mixture altogether was so tasty, and I would totally get this again. I also ordered the hibiscus punch ($6), which was refreshing and not too sweet. And even though I already had a bunch of carbs with the kushery, I got the Egyptian bread pudding ($8), which was very different from the bread pudding I typically see at restaurants around here. It consisted of toasted croissant pieces that were soaked in a creamy sweet milk; the dessert also came with a bunch of nuts, raisins, and whipped cream. It wasn't as rich or sweet as other kinds of bread pudding I've had, but it was still a tasty dessert. The service was a little slow, so I wouldn't suggest dining in here if you need to get a quick meal. But the food was good, and the staff was friendly, so if you have time for a relaxed meal, give the restaurant a try. Note - there were some slight price discrepancies between the menu and final receipt for my drink and dessert, but I know prices are really volatile in these crazy times, and the price discrepancies were small.

The ambiance was relaxing and we got the nice cozy booth at end of the bar ordered the Taco's with a side of rice and beans and a few margaritas. The food was delicious and we had a damn good time, but what really impressed us was the incredible service. Our server Dan was literally amazing, highly attentive and made us feel at home. I don't think I have ever had better service in my life. After that experience we said we had to come back again. So, we did. We came back to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday on a Friday. To our surprise the place was packed and busy. Since they don't do reservations we knew for sure we wouldn't get our cozy booth and the service would be no where near as good as it was last time. I was pleasantly surprised. As we enter the packed restaurant, a man came up to us with such a positive and friendly attitude and told us about the wait time and that he would add us to the list. While we waited we ordered margaritas and talked further with the man. This man turned out to be the Owner of Momocho, Eric. This guy is one of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet. He gave us a few of his delicious recipes he created, told us about his restaurant, and remarked on how great his incredible staff is, especially Dan. After the wait, Eric escorted us to the top floor, and to our surprise he put us at the "Chef's table". We had front row seats to watching the Amazing Chef's cook. Chef Manny was fantastic, watching him work, talking with him, and answering our questions about the different dishes made are experience that much more enjoyable. He took our orders: "Little Tacos" we got the Pollo, Machaca, Side of rice, Barbacoa with a fried egg and a flight of Margaritas. Everything was insanely good. The Margaritas are very tasty definitely recommend. At the end of our meal Dan personally delivered my girlfriend one of their delicious "Chocobomba" desserts with a candle in it, and Sang happy birthday with me. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it. I want to sincerely thank Eric, Dan, and Manny for the incredible experience, and for making my girl friend's birthday a memorable and special one. Also wanted to toss in here that it was fantastic seeing one of my favorite servers from the now closed restaurant "Xinji" working on the Momocho team. Shout out to Jack.

It was very busy and we were told there is a 30 minute wait. Not much else in the area so we hung out by the bar and got seated sooner than expected. The first floor is more casual with bar seating and high top tables. The second floor is more formal dining tables. You'll need to climb stairs (did not see an elevator). I was a bit skeptical if we'd have enough options as vegetarians, but was pleasantly surprised at how full we got from all the items we ordered! The guacamole trio, flautas, remolacha, salsa and chips, and drinks. We were there to celebrate a birthday and I asked staff (maybe a manager) if they do anything to celebrate. He mentioned they have a fried ice cream and can put a candle in it. I hadn't confirmed what dessert we planned to order, but before I knew it they came around with the fried ice cream and candle. So, we got to try that. Overall, good food.

The great reviews, high rating, and photos really sealed the deal. Any coffee shop with that much greenery is going to catch my attention. I had to give them a try. I arrived around 10 am, found a free parking spot right across the street, and was able to place my order and grab a seat just before a big rush of people came in. Seriously, within 20 minutes the place was packed. And it didn't take long for me to understand why. The feeling of community was contagious. From the local art on the walls and free board games to the cozy seating and friendly staff, this place was totally my vibe. I was able to connect to their free wifi with ease and got a lot of work done while I was there. Now, I'm always a sucker for seasonal latte and the Honey Snow Melt did just the trick. In a nutshell it was a salted honey pistachio latte (I got it with oat milk) and it was creamy with a very subtle flavor. I was really into it. I also grabbed a bagel, which was pretty basic, but it was just what I needed to hold me over until lunch. Throw in the friendly service and it's no wonder this place is a winner. Until next time...
