I called 3 Wave Cleaning and got a quote to clean my dryer vent. They got me in right away (when I called back the 2nd time to book, they came the same day!). Two nice guys showed up, were here for about 30 minutes, and cleaned the vent. I asked them to take pictures since the work was done in the attic, and I didn't go up there (see attached pics). We had not had them cleaned in about 4 years, and they needed it! On their way out, they quoted me to clean our HVAC vents, which I had not even thought of doing. I will definitely use them again.

I even called another fence company that said he would charge the exact same but was not going to be available for months so to go with Mr. Fence. We signed the quote and sent the deposit. We waited about a month which was when they said they would be available. I called each week after that only to be told we would be on the schedule the following week. Two months later they send out the installation worker who had no idea what the plan was and says he has to come back as this was not what he was expecting. They repairs the fence... I guess you could call it that... but they left over a 1 foot gap touching the ground at the bottom. I explained we were getting a puppy and the whole point of the fence is to keep our animals in and other animals out. They sent another installation worker the following week who fixed it and I would say it looked crappy but it worked. Less than a year later and parts of the fence that were supposedly soldering together have already come apart. I will definitely go elsewhere if we get those areas repaired.

He went down into the basement to check some wiring and, when he came back up at around 4:45, he told me that there was water leaking down into the basement from my first-floor bathroom. I literally moved into this house yesterday, and it's my first house (I've been an apartment dweller my whole adult life), so I was freaked out and rather panicked about it because, for the first time, I couldn't simply call maintenance. This gentleman told me that he was finishing up a job but that he could come over after he was done. He arrived at 6:14, which is technically very much "after hours". He messed around with the toilet a bit and discovered that the toilet tank was leaking at the tank bolts. He said he just needed to tighten them up. But then they wouldn't come off and he had to cut them off, which took a while. Then he installed new tank bolts, complete with brand new washers, solving the problem completely. This man could have made up anything and I would have believed it in the worried state I was in. He could have talked me into a brand new toilet if he wanted to, he could have replaced things that didn't need replacing, he could have taken his sweet time about what he did do in order to pad the bill - but he did none of that! He was done with the project in about a half hour, start to finish. And his bill was only $125. For an emergency call after hours that is incredibly low. But this guy was clearly not looking to rip anybody off, but rather to make repeat customers out of us - which he definitely did! In fact, I only had about $90 in cash on me, but instead of making me use a credit card or write a check, he gladly just waited about 15 minutes for my wife to come home and then she gave him the remaining $30. And during that 15 minutes he told me all about the best places in town to get takeout, the best pizza place, the best Chinese food place, the best burger place, etc. And as someone who just moved to town, that information was truly appreciated. We plan to install a garbage disposal, replace our dishwasher, upgrade our toilets, install a gas clothes-dryer, and possibly get a new fridge with an icemaker and water in the door, all within the next 4-6 months, and we will definitely be calling this man for each of those projects!!

What is truly impressive is the time they spent with me explaining the nature of the plumbing problem and its solutions, even before the job began. From the beginning of the job to end, Anne the Plumber took meticulous care and I felt as if it were the most important project that they were doing that day. And, it was not a simple job, like a leaky faucet, it was a complicated job. They had to literally build piping for a washer and dryer that had no infrastructure already in place. The money I spent was worth every penny. I will only use Anne the Plumber for my own condo, and my building has used them as well, with excellent results.

Specifically listed things I needed done. Leaky shower was not fixed, just recalked. They fixed a pipe in my flowerbed and replaced two spigots. Over $620... Asked him to tighten two faucets and he wanted to charge $225x2 to tighten two bolts. Will need to call in another plumber to fix shower. Will not use, nor recommend, this company.
