Honestly, if I could rate NE Improvements higher than 5 stars, I would. We called and spoke with Dennis about replacing our gutter system as it was no longer holding water. He was quick to respond and came out within a day to look at our system and provide a quote. Dennis answered all of my questions and took the time to really explain the process, and why things were done a certain way. Every email or phone correspondence has been replied to in an incredibly timely fashion. He is respectful in his communication as well. We scheduled a date for our job, and Dennis and his team were there and were professional throughout the day. Dennis would not make any changes without confirming with me first, and he provided options for handling any road blocks that came up (such as rotted wood behind the gutters). He and his team worked until 8pm (in the dark) that night because it was supposed to rain the next day and they wanted to make sure we were in good shape to handle the rain. That type of work ethic is so rare and it was amazing to be on the receiving end. Lastly, as our roof line is unique and provided challenging scenarios for gutter replacement, Dennis provided me with options, and said to call if anything happens with the gutters after it rains, or in those spots that were a challenge. There was one place where the water was loudly dripping on our roof (again, because of the way our roof is built), and Dennis responded to me the day I reached out. I felt that he made his customer a priority, and came out the day after to create another solution to resolve the issue. We've recently worked with Dennis from New England Improvements to take down our old gutters and replace them with new ones and an Xtreme Gutter Guard. Dennis was responsive to my phone calls and came at the appointed meeting time. He gave us a competitive quote, was very detailed in his explanation of the different types of material for gutters and gutter guards, and the correct way to install them. The gutter replacement and installation proceeded at the appointed day and time and completed within a day as Dennis said they would. He also noted a warped tile on our roof and recommended we call someone to check the roof. They also installed elongated downspouts to keep the rainwater draining away as much farther as possible from the house. Dennis and his associate also cleaned up after themselves really well. I had a wonderful experience with this company. From the first phone call to the follow up after the work was done, total professionalism and excellent customer service. I had a huge problem with birds living (and clogging) my gutters. Edward came and evaluated the situation within a day of the first phone call. He was able to recommend an affordable product to keep the birds out once his team had cleaned out all the buildup. He even went so far as to put the birds nests in a tree, rather than just toss them aside. He took care of a bee's nest and replaced a pipe without adding to the original estimate. His price was affordable and fair! He sent me pictures along the way of the problem and how clean the gutters were now. There was no mess left behind and it was all done quickly and efficiently! If you need to fix or replace gutters don't hesitate to hire New England Improvements. A few big rains after we cannot be happier. We got a few estimates for 2500 square feet house and this is where New England Improvements beat the others: - They pay attention to details and don't cut the corners. We knew our old gutters were bad but we learned why they failed (they were not installed correctly) and how we can get better. - All measurements was done precisely and only after this we got estimate. (Other contractors just give you the number without measuring properly) The project was completed in three days without any construction mess and nails laying around. Dennis and the crew did a great job with our gutter replacement. I had reached out to several other gutter replacement companies, but he was the only that responded. Communication is the key in dealing with a contractor, and he is great at that. We had him come to the house several time to discuss the project, and each time he answered any questions we had. The day of the installation it couldn't have gone better. They showed up in the morning and left by mid afternoon. I love they way they look and they were able to match the trim color on the house. Our gutters were leaking after multiple repairs plus we needed the downspouts re-routed due to some changes on the exterior of the house. This was a tricky job and other professionals had not been able to offer new options. Dennis and his team were outstanding. Dennis listened as well as had his ideas. New England Improvements just soft wash my house and the patio. The house looks great after the cleaning but there were few tough spots on the patio still there after the first power wash.
