Everything is good at Pho's. I've only had one bad experience and it was a waiter. He was probably just overwhelmed and a bit gruff. The food is made fresh to order and I've only ever had a clean table. Truly the waitresses are always nice. The owner is usually there and he's a kind man. The restaurant is quiet even when a lot of people are there. I've never used the bathroom so I can't say how that looks. It's just really a great comforting and relaxing environment. Loved this place. We came here after a really long day of moving. The outside doesn't really look like a restaurant, so I hadn't paid much attention, but my plumber recommended it and we didn't want burgers. It was great! The pho broth had a unique and pleasing taste. The yellow curry was creamy, and the potato and pepper chunks were delicious (although the beef was dry). There was one other dish we ordered that was like a salad with noodles and chopped peanuts - excellent. We shared a Vietnamese ice coffee and it was very good. The dumplings were a disappointment. Wow I am here for work and saw this place behind the hotel I'm at and was so happy! The chicken curry is a generous portion, was super savory/spicy and delicious. The Thai tea was also delicious too. I definitely would eat here again if I had more time. The service was very attentive and courteous. I didn't wait long for my food at all and I love the atmosphere of the place. I love coming here not just because the food is great but also because their portions are plentiful. There is another Thai restaurant in town that offers great food but at significantly smaller portions and on top of that they are more expensive too. Whether it is the Pho or the Pad Thai I always leave stuffed and if I feel like behaving myself I will leave with leftovers too. This place can best be described by the phrase "lipstick on a pig". The interior is nicely decorated with a relaxing ambiance and the food looks pretty on the plate (or in the bowl). Unfortunately the flavor of the food is not good. Some dishes are bland, others overly sweet and they seem to have trouble getting their vegetables cooked as they are nearly raw, which makes me nervous about how well the meat is cooked. In addition to the lack of quality in the food, the owner seems to rely on dishonest business practices. Up charges for EVERYTHING such as: using a credit card, ordering takeout, or substitutions of any kind. On top of that, they don't give you an itemized receipt like the one you sign. It appears that the owner is greedy and wants to make more money, but even he knows the food can't justify what he wants to charge for it, so he relies on hidden fees. If you have eaten at a decent Pho restaurant elsewhere, prepare to be underwhelmed by the flavors and overwhelmed by the prices. read more

My wife and I had talked about eating here since we first got to the Valley in December. We finally made it yesterday. I guess we had our hopes up too high since everything was just, well, so-so. We started with spring rolls which were tasty and egg rolls which were pretty bland. I had the curried chicken and she had a marinated chicken dish. We both agreed that our entrees were rather bland.
