I really love this place the Pho is really good to me. So is the fresh spring rolls. My daughters love the steak and fried rice. I took 2 stars off because my family comes I. Here a lot and I recently came and picked up a to go order due to my parents being sick. One was a vegetable pho with chicken added. Mind u we always come in to eat so this was my first pick up order. I pay for my food and check to make sure the chicken is added to the veg pho and it's not so I ask the server to ask the cook if it's in the broth? Since it's not with the noodles and the female cook says yes. I take a fork and search it and there isn't any. To add chicken it was $3 if I didn't pay for it I would have been ok. So the server goes back and says no it's not in the broth so the cook starts yelling saying she made it and it's in there blah blah as if I was lying I just showed your server it's not in the broth nor the other containers. I thought it was rude how she was not believing Me or her server. instead of arguing back and forth that she did for few mins just fix it. We aren't cheap customers either my family is usually 7 people or up and we tip her servers food $20 and up so that day I felt like a very unappreciated customer. read more

I was just in for a to go lunch order. After witnessing "on the spot coaching" by a woman I'm happy to know is not the owner, and hopefully replaceable. There were about 4-5 guests within headshot of the registers waiting on to go orders. "Z" had 2 women taking orders, one seemed to be newer. In front of the numerous guests she barked at them with every word. Told them if they forgot to log out and someone else inputs an error on their number they get in trouble. Then a mistake was made and a guest was charged for an order that was not hers. From the middle of the dining room I heard Z again. She told the guest the only way to refund her was to charge her first, then refund the whole ticket. Then continues to explain how bad your POS system is and this is the only solution. This is just the tip of the unprofessional iceberg that I experienced. As a first time guest who decided to takeout instead of dine in, I realize that was the best decision I've made all day. The woman who seemed to be newer was very sweet and helpful. But that manager was awful. I will never dine there again. I have years of F&B mgmt experience, in addition to owning a restaurant currently. Mgmt 101, you NEVER discipline your staff in public. As well you keep your voice down when trying to fix a problem instead of telling the whole restaurant and half the sidewalk the problems with the system. I was embarrassed for her, and felt terrible for the two women up front trying to manage the quick lunch bump/rush. Unfortunate because the food is good. Our go-to for Pho! Order a small, its still huge! I have ordered large and small, but can never finish it all. There are many selections besides Pho, especially the fried rice. We've been back multiple times, both in restaurant and for pick-up. eating inside is small, but food is prepared quickly. read more

I had the traditional Pho Tai soup. Unexpectedly, the beef was already cooked when the bowl was brought to me. Not Tai (which means rare) at all ! On top of that, I could barely see any beef in my soup, to say they are not generous (not to say cheap) on meat. I was glad they brought a whole lot of bean sprouts, coriander and mint leaves to add a bit more density to the soup, which otherwise would look quite like just broth. At the end of the meal, I ordered a Ca Phe Sua Da (filtered coffee served on ice with sweet condensed milk...a real treat). It took about 20 minutes to be served, while it usually take 2 minutes at restaurants where service is at a bare minimum decent. Just to say that the employee (that was not even Vietnamese) dared to pretend that this was just how Vietnamese coffee is served and how authentic it was, and that the others places are just mere imitators. Obviously she did not realized that she was talking to a Vietnamese guy. How arrogant (and ignorant) she is. You can't blame the owner for that though. First, the ice must be served in cubes, not crushed, and in a separate glass. Second, you don't pre-filter the coffee and mix it with the condensed milk: you let the customer do the filtering himself, and let him mix the two as he likes it. This is how it's done in Vietnam and authentic Vietnamese restaurants. To sum up, I am disappointed with my experience at this address. I was expecting a lot more from a Vietnamese restaurant operated by Vietnamese people. My review may seem a little harsh, but it is honest; I must admit my standards are quite high when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. This is my last time going. I've had it a total of three times and while the pho and spring rolls are "decent" the service sucks! This place is ran by what looks like are teenagers. They've never offered my boyfriend and I a refill and they aren't friendly . They dude in the back who serves the food comes out with music in his ear and barely acknowledges the customers. I tell him thank you everytime he brings me something but he gives a lackluster response and has the overall demeanor that he doesn't want to your work there. Just came here with my family last minute for dinner and reading all the reviews I didn't know what to expect. When we came in the girl was nice and had us seated wherever. We then ordered with no problems. We ordered Pho's, Bhan Mi's, and spring rolls. The special pho was really flavorful, bhan mi was crispy and delicious, and the spring rolls were pretty much good too just nothing too special as other pho restaurants. Good food we ordered pho Gai (chicken) and pho beef with tripe. Overall the restaurant is clean, good service. The only bad part was my boba tea. Tea was great just the boba (tapioca ball) wasn't cook right or it might be just too old. They had no problem gave me a new one without boba after I asked for it. My favorite is the special pho which is their combination pho, they have great servings especially if you are one of those who likes the fatty brisket, flanks, tripes, meatballs and etc on your pho.
