What was ordered: Curry stirfry with pork and Tom Yum shrimp soup with noodles. The restaurant is tucked inside of a shopping plaza off of Golden State(look by Prime Shine car wash). It's a little difficult to see/find in the plaza and almost impossible to see from the road. It's appearance led me to believe it was possibly a Mexican restaurant at first glance. Luckily I was wrong. I can't wait to try this place out as a dine-in. Due to circumstances I had to take my order to go but didn't change the fact that the food tasted good. The stirfry was my favorite; I couldn't stop eating it. I wish they had different to-go containers though. The soup was so hot it burned the Styrofoam and it started leaking. This place is the ONLY pho place I've found in the area that provides excellent pho. To me a quality pho begins with a great broth, with traditional spices, adding a complexity and interest. Service is good and restaurant is clean, only thing I would prefer would be a comfier setting for when I dig into my bowl but that's just me and soup. I always get the brisket pho. read more

Chicken ChowMein was one of the best that I've had and I'm not usually a big fan of it because it can be chewy, greasy, dry, or the noodles seem wilted. Yet their chow mein tasted fresh, lots of veggies and flavorful( They forgot the soy sauce but it was still yummy) I had a chicken sandwich as well. The sandwich was wack to be honest. Food was amazing and service was great! I got a pho bowl and spring rolls. There was a Slight wait but everything was fresh and delicious .

Okay so this is based solely on the food taste. I ordered beef larb, papaya salad and spring roll. On The beef larb plate the meat is normally cooked medium rare or rare for the steak bits but they way over cooked the beef chunks on this plate and over seasoned it to taste extra salty. I paid $1 extra to have tripe added but rather than added it was actually half the plate which took away more of the other portion sucks because it isn't cheap. Now the papaya salad is typically suppose to be SPICY! It even says so on the menu, this was not at all spicy not even mild. Horrible. Lastly the spring rolls.... The spring rolls literalky were falling apart which obviously isn't suppose to happen. They're suppose to roll it tightly so that the food stays inside and the dip for it was extremely watery (I'm assuming this is a money saving technique. The food is really good. However, the service is quite terrible. I have been here 5 times and they have gotten my order wrong 3 times. To make it worse, they don't try and compensate for their mistake. They only apologized one of those times and still charged me in all three instances. Today they forgot our appetizer and ended up bringing it to us after my meal was over and still charged me for it. It's been really annoying. Makes me not want to come here anymore. read more

My family and I really enjoy this place from the lobster seafood Garlic noodles to the Ph this place has got it down. They got new waitresses that are okay but I go there for the food. Hands down best place in Turlock for Ph , the egg rolls are on point and they get it to you fast! The place looks like they wanted to start a bar at one point which would be a cool concept a Ph bar with beer on tap. It's even a cool spot to watch a game since they got some tv's in there. This place was not good at all. The pho broth was watered down, literally looked and tasted like water. I ordered salt and pepper shrimp (which was old and over cooked) skin was stuck to the shrimp and wouldn't come off. Also the shrimp was filled with shrimp poop down the backs of them. Wow first pho place I've seen that had a full decked out bar. I had a Hops of Wrath IPA with large Chicken Pho. Pho broth was flavorful, good amounts of meat. You guys!! This is my new favorite spot, best food ever, good music, and the most legit owner. I've NEVER had food so fully packed with such flavor. Seriously this is the spot! Every dish we were served was made with love and cooked perfect! Shrimp wasn't chewy or overlooked at all, noodles were so unique and al dente. This place is crazy CLEAN and good! I didn't think it would be so modern, classy, and yummy! Plenty of seating, has a bar, two TVs, lounge sofas, and the GREATEST pho! We always get #2 and some spring rolls! Definitely grab the spring rolls-- they are 4 HUGE portions and served with peanut sauce (sorry those with peanut allergies, y'all missing out!). I'm happy they came to Turlock and brought great Vietnamese food to this country/urban town. I'm from Stockton and I'm used to good Vietnamese food. As a Vietnamese person that grew up in a traditional Vietnamese family and is regularly spoiled with homemade Vietnamese food, I think the pho here is terrible. If you've only ever had Central Valley pho then I imagine you might enjoy it here, but otherwise.. No. The nuoc mam they use for their bun thit nuong is so watered down, I don't even think you can call it nuoc mam anymore. And they're incredibly stingy with meat. The only thing I've found palatable is the banh mi cha lua. Hard pass on everything else. read more
