Bento box #2, a daily special

Excellent Thai food-fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned. The portions are large--I'm taking half home. I had a daily special, Bento box #2 & spring rolls. I'd happily order them the next time I'm in the area, but there's bunch of other intriguing options calling to me

lunch stop in ceres...empty strip mall location...hardly any cars parked outside...inside was just as empty...greeted by a christmas tree with 4th of july decorations near september...waiting for staff and coming...decided to take it to go...ordered egg rolls $8.69 and pad gra tiem and requested ground pork for the protein $14.95...$25.62 and add tip and about $31 total...short wait and taking to eat...egg rolls were pretty big and 6 in one order...a clean pale yellow crispy wrap...fried in clean oil and liking...pad gra tiem which is a classic thai stir fry was savory and seasoned well...meal was decent for the price and good...

Great food, one of my favorite places to get Pad Kee Mao. The Service is amazing as well. Place has a cozy ambiance to it on the inside.

Came from Modesto to try this place looked nice and thought it might be good. Ordered Pad Thai and my fiance ordered pad kee mao. Food was eh. But honestly the texture was way off and super grainy. My fiance let the server know. The server told us its supposed to be like that. (Umm no We eat ALOT of Thai food from much more reputable places so we know what certain dishes are supposed to taste like and texture) my Fiance asked the waitress if there is some extra sauce she could have the cook put in it becuase it was crazy grainy. The waitress said thats how we ordered it. NO. Extra spicy does not mean extra grainy or extra texture. My fiance asked more than 3 times for her to take the dish and add more sauce. The waitress said "DID YOU HEAR ME? DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IM SAYIN?" And the waitress told my fiance she has still has to pay for it. my fiance is also a waitress so we know that is no way to address your customers. Ya my fiance and waitress went back and forth. We asked to speak to the manager right away. Manager offered to cover our meal but we just didnt want the Pad Kee mao, when we paid the managet barely tried to take like half of the price of the pad kee mao off! Like cmon just take the crappy food off. We shouldnt have paid for anything honestly becuase of all the disrespect and horrible food. The manager did offer to cover our tab but we were honesty trying to be nice, the pad kee mao really sucked, it was only fair, the waitress is a straight B!7c* We paid and left never to return. Food is barley ok. Wont be back. Do not reccomend. Nobody goes to ceres for Thai or asian food, I should have known better.

Average Thai food with excellent service. We stopped by for some filling food on our way back from Yosemite. Blu Lotus did the job, but I've definitely had better Thai food before. From our order, we enjoyed the tom yum soup and Thai milk tea. The pad kee mao naturally comes very spicy, as warned by the server. It was okay but traditional Thai wide noodles were replaced by some pasta like noodles so it lost some points for me. Red curry and chicken satay were decent. Service was really fast and efficient and our server was really sweet.

1st time here. My wife and I came to Modesto to visit family. I found this restaurant on Yelp. So thank you Yelp fam. This restaurant is good. I'd definitely recommend it and come back again. We had the egg rolls, Blu Lotus fried rice with shrimp, Pad See Ew with beef, and BBQ pork. Everything was delicious but the real star was that BBQ pork (which comes with a side of white rice).

This is my boyfriend's go to spot for fried chicken and papaya salad! Those are the only two things he gets here. The fried chicken is perfectly crispy and the papaya salad (Laos style) reminds me of my childhood. However, I'm not entirely sure if the fermented style is for everyone since I just grew up eating it, but it's very authentic in my opinion and the best spot for it in a restaurant! I did try the green curry this time too, that one I probably wouldn't get again. Didn't have that much flavor imo

Guuuyyyyyyyssss...come on. :( I love this place. Go often. Pad Thai is great. I ordered Thai papaya salad on Grub Hub. Three strikes: 1) it was made Laos 2) it was made mild when I asked for medium 3) big hair. Very disappointed because this is my go-to for mango sticky rice even though I don't live in ceres.

This restaurant is off of Mitchell, which is a busy street, so it is easy to get to. It is part of a large shopping center so lots of parking. The restaurant itself it pretty spacious and has lot of seating. Could very well accommodate a larger group. We were greeted and seated right away. The lady that seated us was very pleasant and met us at the table with iced water and our menus. We ordered: 1. Thai teas: refreshing and delicious. 2. House Special: came with fried shrimp, fried broccoli, Laos sausage, fried chicken, beef jerky and fried egg roll. All fried to perfection and a great plate to purchase to appease most palates. 3. Large sticky rice: which is a must! 4. Laos papaya salad (mild): this comes with 6 Thai chilies and was perfect heat. It comes with a side of fresh cabbage. It was all the things we needed the salad to be. The sauce was dark in color, salty and that danky goodness! 5. Laos sausage: ordered this on accident because I didn't realize there was some sausage that came on the house special platter which was fine because we knew we were taking stuff home. 6. Crispy pork belly: marinated perfectly and fried to perfection. Dipping sauce complimented it well. So much food and I believe the bill came in under $90. A good amount of food, delicious and filling. Glad we stumbled upon this place and don't think it will be our last visit!

We came in the late afternoon on a Saturday and they were already out of the fried chicken and sticky rice (next time!). Nam Khao (crispy rice lettuce wrap with pork skin) - I highly enjoyed this one with all the crunchy textures and flavors. Will 100% get again. Khao Poon (noodle soup) - This broth had a subtle peanut flavor which was delicious. Wished it had more toppings. Nam Vanh (tapioca drink) - My drink seemed to lack the other jellies that I saw in other pictures and only had the lil tapioca balls, sweetener and coconut milk. It felt like it was missing something for sure. The owner is so nice and friendly. I don't know if it's a psychological thing, but every time he acknowledged or spoke to me, he used my name.
