Best pho in the world. My family and I have been going here for about 10 years and visit at least 4 times a month. The food is great the service is amazing and they are always so welcoming. We always get the pho or the spicy ramen ... both are great choices and are always so tasty. My 13 month is pretty picky but she always enjoys eating here whether it be the pho noodles the broth some rice; she's obsessed with their chow mein !! We tried this place for the first time today and were so happy we changed our mind about having fast food to come here instead. My husband cleared his sinuses with the large Pho #1 (special combo) and I inhaled Rice Vermicelli with grilled chicken and shrimp. We skipped breakfast, so we probably ate enough that would feed a family of four. The grilled chicken and shrimp were perfectly seasoned, rice noodles were divine, and crunchy peanuts, lettuce and cucumbers were the perfect combo. I threw in some basil and jalapenos that came with my husband's pho. Poured the dipping sauce over the whole thing and was completely satisfied with this dish. We have not been here since they moved places. The atmosphere is relaxed and the servers were attentive. The pho was flavorful. The prices have definitely increased and though their portion of broth and noodles was on par the amount of meat was not. At first when we were waiting to be attended, I noticed the table was STICKY. It was so disgusting to know that these people don't even clean up the tables! I didn't even want to put my arms and hands on there to be safe. The server gave us a bunch of water for some reason? We didn't ask for water but I guess it's because it was really hot outside, we didn't really touch or drink the water. My family liked the food but mine was kind of plain lol, I got wonton soup with egg noodles. But the bill was $100... my family wasn't expecting it to turn out that expensive because we are used to paying under $100. I don't think me and my family will come here again because it was pretty expensive. My dad ordered a smoothie when we all packed up our soups, the guy didn't ask us what kind of size cup he wanted though.. so that was kind of strange. This is my go to spot for Pho in Turlock. They have a pretty extensive menu, but have only tried the Pho. I highly recommend.

This is why I'd rather make the drive to Ceres to Sticky Rice or Blue Lotus for some decent Thai Food or even to Merced! Where is the dam sprouts, basil, jalapeño, cilantro (cilantro actually came in tiny specks mixed in with my onions that was with the noodles), and lime for the chicken pho! It came with some sad ass 4-5 long stringy pieces of dark meat, no white meat, just thigh meat, and lacked flavor. NEVER AGAIN, and lower your price if you can't even make authentic Pho, beef or chicken... Waste of anyone's money, got a bowl of watered down broth, noodles, stringy chicken, and some onions, with specks of cilantro read more

I can only give this place 3 stars for a couple of reasons. I came here craving for some Vietnamese food. I yelp for Vietnamese restaurant and I want to try something new. This came up and I thought I would give it a try. Though they only had three customers in the restaurant, unfortunately, I saw a good number of tables still messy. During a slow time I would think that they would spend some time cleaning the tables. Also, I was very surprised how pricey the food is here. I've been to a good number of Vietnamese restaurants, especially at the metropolitan area, which generally I would expect to be more expensive, but it's a lot cheaper than this place and they also offer more items on their combination plates. Thankfully, there are other Vietnamese restaurant in Central Valley like the one on McHenry at the car wash. It's about 2 to 3 dollars cheaper and they offer other items on their combo plates. On our way home , stopped in for some soup. My son and I had #1 pho combination. Broth is pretty descent. I can't pinpoint what's missing. Didn't have enough spice aroma and it's somewhat missing the beefy broth flavor. Other than that I still would eat here than any fast food joint near by. My daughter had Wonton soup with Chinese broccoli she liked her soup, said it was hot and the Wonton was flavorful. Hubby and I shared beef banh mi . Our dinner experienced was underwhelming. We ordered spring rolls, small beef pho and the basil chicken stir fry. Spring rolls were just ok. Nothing in it besides noodle, lettuce and shrimp. Beef pho tasted good but not much meat. Basil stir fry was disappointing as the chicken looked more like leftover chicken bits. Not to mention two tables that came in after us received their food before us. The restaurant itself was clean and looked nice with flat screen TVs to watch the games. This has been our family's favorite Pho spot for the last 4 years. We dine in as well as order on DoorDash (especially when I was pregnant a few months ago lol). Staff is always so nice and super quick. Just overall a super calm and nice place to eat. Restaurant is super clean whenever we come in. After ordering our food on the Yelp app, we picked up our food and noticed a $10 difference on the receipt that we received with our food versus the price we paid on the app. We returned to the restaurant and they told us that they didn't know why it was more expensive and to call our order in next time. Afterwards we contacted the app's customer service and 10 long minutes later we received a refund! Other than that our food was mediocre. We've dined here before, and it was really good food. Unfortunately I guess they only bother serving food accurately when you dine in. We live 30 minutes away and decided to order some food to go. Garlic noodles and combination pho. So when I order pho I expect noodles, meat, broth, and the garnishes. Thai basil, cilantro, onions, and bean sprouts are the traditional garnishes for Pho. I received no garnishes, I received meat and noodle soup. So my husband who made the order and picked it up called the restaurant. The manager was not there, so he provided his name and number. They still haven't called, since yesterday. I guess keeping our business is not something they are concerned about. We are heading to a different eatery. Post our visit ( my wife and three-year-old son ) to this establishment, we found ourselves on the toilet, enduring explosive diarrhea. The babies stomach have exhibited bubbling noises, which then went to liquid diarrhea. The soup spoons were disturbingly coated with layers of grime( not sure what they call it) some sort of film that was not removed from their dishwasher. We ordered: Thai fried rice, pho #1 and wonton egg noodle. The Good: decor and layout is inviting. Servers were upbeat and friendly. The Bad: the rice noodle AND egg noodles were overcooked and mushy. The egg noodle being the worser of the two. Tasted like maybe it sat in water too long? Broth itself wasnt bad...bit on the sweeter side. Thai fried rice was overly greasy and for lack of a better decription word, tasted old. The Ugly: during latter part of our dining experience, found hair on the food. The Worst: didnt complain BUT did want to point out hair on the tendon. Was told by cashier that this it is normal for their customers to find hair on the pork products and that itsbjust the pork is. I found this odd because never have I had tendon come with hair and my family eats tendon a lot (home and elsewhere). Frankly and to my knowledge, tendon is not attached to skin but to the muscle and ligaments so hair on tendon should be downright impossible. Final Thoughts: a firm pass for me and my fam. Update : did a bit of google action and saw some restaurants (none that I have ever been to) with the same hairy problem. That being said, I upped the review from a 1 star to a 2 because maybe the restaurant just orders a lesser quality tendon? Idk. Just moved here from SoCal where you can find a pho spot on every street (or so it seems) and where we would eat pho once a week. I was really hoping to find a good pho spot here in Turlock and I am thrilled to say that Pho 7 Anh surpassed our expectations. The noodles were divine--fresh and delicious. Broth was savory. Food was packed nicely--no spillage on the drive home and yet easy to open. We ordered medium rare steak pho, veggie pho, spring rolls, taro smoothie and Thai tea. Thank you Pho 7 Anh!! Delicious. Just what I needed. I got the chicken pho to go and it came with to go packets of sriracha and hoisin. As well as all the other normal toppings you'd get if you sat there. They also double sealed the soup so it wouldn't spill during travel. And their size small was enough for me to eat twice. read more
