I'm sick at home and husband got pho on the way home from work for me he ordered a p2 and p5 he's not one to complain or fix it when things aren't right but I'm going to bed hungry tonight because they gave him tripe instead of flank; I hate that this is happening constantly here now....

Sadly this was our favorite place a few years ago... it has become unbearable to even attempt eating here any more. The main lady (I think her name is Tran) who owns / serves the place has a terrible attitude and acts upset and put out every single time we come in. We are always rushed and seems like she is annoyed at us. The place has also struggled with their sewage system on and off and it's a 50% chance that when you walk in it's going to smell like poop. The pho and food tastes good, but they are unkind and struggle to maintain consistency for cleanliness, menu items availability, sewage system problems. The worker in the back cooking is also usually hacking up a lung coughing. There are plenty of other pho restaurants locally that offer pho that tastes just as good in a clean environment with people that are happy and willing to serve you and take your money. I would go try Pho Bo new in the rose district it's amazing!!

The phở here is phenomenal. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. The rare beef was tender, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I loved adding fresh herbs and lime it made every bite feel bright and fresh. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere reminded me of home.

Great service. Awesome food. Clean environment. All of the ingredients for a great restaurant. Try the spicy beef pho if they have it. It's the best!

The service was good and friendly! I like how small the place is and cozy! It gives me the family-owned feel. Support local. The Pho was great with good flavors, good amount, and very good meat. I'll be returning. Especially winter time.

I can't get enough of their phở gà. The chicken is tender and flavorful, and the broth is so comforting. It's light but still packed with incredible depth. The fresh bean sprouts and herbs added a perfect crunch and freshness. The restaurant has such a relaxed vibe, and the staff made me feel so cared for.

Great little family owned Vietnamese restaurant in Broken Arrow! The service is great, very friendly staff always all smile and ready to help you. It's hard to find good pho in Tulsa, unfortunately we don't have very good options compared to OKC but Pho 71 is pretty good, likely one of the better pho available in the Tulsa area. The broth tastes good and the sides seem fresh. The Vietnamese coffee is probably made in advance because it comes out so quickly compared to other restaurants but I think it tastes good no big difference with most of the other places around town. I mostly come for the Pho so I can't say much about the rice plates. The egg rolls and spring rolls are pretty good and the spring roll is stuffed with decent portion of shrimp. Overall a top place to get pho in the Tulsa area and we will definitely be back!

Another option for average Vietnamese food in BA This is a very small and busy restaurant located in a strip mall at the corner of Kenosha and Elm. I have to admit that Vietnamese food is not my favorite. I struggle with the taste of the fish sauce and can't figure out what is so exciting about a bowl of Pho. I have tried to focus on one dish Bun Bo Hue in order to have some basis for comparison between Vietnamese restaurants. My wife likes the vermicelli bowls and the fish sauce. She has a good foundation for her comparison of this particular dish. Let's start with the appetizers "Spring Rolls with Grilled Pork." Our order was delivered to the diner siting at the table next to us. After a few minutes and after the diner had taken a couple of bites of one of them, the waitress realized she had served the wrong table. She delivered his order of tofu spring rolls and took the partially eaten and full pork spring roll back to the kitchen. A few minutes later she brought out our order of pork spring rolls. Only God and the Kitchen staff know what really happened in the kitchen. Well, they were still good. My wife liked her Bun Tom Nuong Cha Gio. This was a vermicelli noodles, vegetables, grilled shrimp and spring rolls, and of course the fish sauce. The grilled shrimp was really good! Today's special just happened to be Bun Bo Hue. Their version was nothing more than a noodle and beef brisket soup with chili sauce added. The only meat in it was the beef brisket. The soup was just not what you expect to get with Bun Bo Hue. It did have some of the classic vegetables on the side (basil, cilantro, a couple of jalapeno slices, and a slice of lime and bean sprouts.) It tasted Ok, but was a boring bowl of soup. No complex flavors from lemon grass and other seasonings. Average food, average service, clean, very busy at noon, does a lot of takeout business.

I had the Vietnamese combination pho as usual. The broth lacked flavors. The combination pho only had meatballs and rare beef. How's that even combination? The pho noodles were too soft. The rice papers used as the wraps for the fresh spring rolls were a little hard. I was not impressed with Viet Huong on this particular visit. This hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant used to be my favorite restaurant in Tulsa. That time has gone. Maybe, next visit will write a different story. I came back just to make sure my review was accurate. I tried both Bun Bo Hue (my favorite Vietnamese soup) and the Vietnamese pho. The pho broth was the same (mildly flavorful) but the noodles were more firm than last time. The Bun Bo Hue was comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa, but I would say none of them are exceptional. Good luck finding a Vietnamese restaurant that serves exceptional Bun Bo Hue in Tulsa like Pho Cuong in Oklahoma City.

I've eaten the Vietnamese pho at this restaurant several times along with a few other entrees. The pho bowl of this restaurant is too small making it difficult to fit all the pho vegetables inside, especially when they fill the small bowl almost to the rim. The best feature of the pho was the meats which are my favorite of all the Vietnamese restaurants in Tulsa. The broth was okay, and pho noodles were soft without much texture. They always seemed to be out of fresh spring rolls, making me to doubt whether they even have them anymore. Service was very slow at Mekong River. On weekdays, there's usually only server available whether the restaurant is busy or not. One other thing I really like about Mekong River is the pre-brewed hot tea, giving the tea that mild bitter taste.

The flavor seems different -- not as rich or deep as before. I also ordered the chicken rice, and it was very dry and lacked the flavor it used to have. That dish was always a highlight for me, so it was pretty disappointing. Service wasn't as fast as I remember either. The wait time was longer, even though it didn't seem very busy. Hoping they can improve and bring back the quality and speed they were once known for.
