Pho is my favorite dish from Trang Le. The pho broth was on the mild sweet spectrum but flavorful. Meat varieties were good. Pho noodles were soft without much textures. Fresh spring rolls were okay. The waitress at Trang Le has excellent memory. After 5-6 years of returning, she still recognized me. This is a spacious restaurant but I have never seen it ever being full. And when we were finished they came around asking for a refill. Ordered takeout from here this week and I thought it was just ok. First of all, I might have ordered wrong because I am used to receiving brisket as the meat by default when ordering beef pho, but when you order the beef pho from here, you will get some kind of smaller pieces of meat that are quite chewy. So just to note, you want the brisket instead. I've had pho from several different states and I would say Trang Le's broth is on the sweeter side. The flavor of the pho is there, but it's sweet with a ton of fat/oil. Not for me. I also ordered the hot dog eggrolls for fun and it literally had a piece of hot dog inside, which is hilarious. Our server seemed to be a bit loss and gave us waters but forgot our menus! Prices seem a bit high for the Tulsa area.. $18 for a large bun Bo hue is insane and the spring rolls were very small too. Went with a party of 4. I got the Glass Noodle Bowl and it was really fantastic! I took home the rest. My brother got the Crab Soup and the noddle texture and broth is very specific. Definitely a hit or miss, but he did eat it all so it depends on the person. My dad got the hoisin beef and he said it had all good flavor but it was overall fine. My mom had the beef Pho and she said it was mid. Wouldn't get it again. So overall I think it really just depends on what you get, like they had a lot of fantastic options and others okay. The service was nice too, everything came out quick. Only complaint was we had to ask for refills on our water. I would come back! Oh and I forgot to mention: get the spring rolls! Trang Le in Broken Arrow has the best Pho I think I've ever had. Great depth of flavor in broth. Typical, but fresh garnishes. I had the beef tendon and it was supurb. Attentive waiter and good hot jasmine tea. Only complaint would be no option other than sugar or Sweet & Low. Going to have to try some other dishes now. I am on edge with this restaurant. I do not know what to think. I have not had the privilege of traveling to Vietnam yet. However, I have had a fair share of Vietnam food all over the United States, particularly California. And of course, every one's tastes buds are different. YES THEY DO CLOSE EARLY AT 730pm due to being short staffed. SERVICE: - upfront, many the young folks are serving and they are so energetic plus outgoing - it is neat to be able to glance into the kitchen and see actual viet folks cooking up the dishes - bring cash and save some change! (They charge a convenience fee with credit/debit cards.) - I ordered takeout and waited inside because it was so cold outside. The guy server offered me water = major brownie points and made me smile. - I paid cash. No receipt was given. No actual punching of numbers were made. Found it strange but I truthfully did not think into it / interpret what is going on. FOOD: - this is where the stars are taken off - I ordered shrimp/pork spring roll and the grilled pork noodle bowl = $20 - the spring rolls were super dry and super flavorless...usually they are supposed to be pungent and blow through your mouth due to the highlights of the herbs especially of mint (none of this was happening) - the sauce for the spring rolls were flavorless; peanut butter flavor was thinned out, wasn't sour or sweet or savory, layer of what I think was chili oil which grossed me out...basically the sauce was flat. They did give you 2 kinds of sauces. - now the bowl...I love how traditional it was. You get the same flavor no matter where you go. I love how juicy the pork was. - I wish there were more lettuce and the addition of tomatoes to add a different layer of flavor - I hated their pickled carrots (this should be the highlight of every viet dish) except it was shavings of carrots and tasted very, very, very moist with no crunch - what happened to daikon mixed with the red carrots? :( AMBIENCE: - definitely viet PARKING: - plaza with other stores - should not be difficult to find a spot at all - lots of parking spaces with the added perk of being a comfortable size Will I come again? When it is cold outside and you are in need of warming up, this is the place to gather. The phô is authentic, tasty and hot. My favorite is the seafood phô and my wife thinks the brisket is the best. The bone broth at the base of the soup is made in-house. The vegetables are prepared fresh the noodles are alway perfect and the protein portion is generous. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Don't freeze warm up here. (I would bet that the chicken phô here is the Vietnamese version of Jewish penicillin chicken soup.) read more

Absolutely love this business. They are family owned and it feels that way when you walk in. The layout of the restaurant is very open and welcoming. the food is fantastic and they have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. It seems like you'd be able to get some things gluten free as well based on the menu, but that is not my dietary requirement so I can't speak to that 100%. I love this place and wish I could go more ! It's just far from me. They are polite and move as quickly as possible though you can imagine that with food as good as theirs, they can get kinda busy. read more

This was my 2nd time going to Trang Le. First time was back in 2021, party of 5. It was super busy, people waiting out the door. My son in law, was the last to receive his food, which was just a vermicelli rice noodles bowl. By the time he received his food the rest of us was already all most done. Every time we ask about it, they said it was coming. Wish food came out all at once, so it can be enjoyed together. Service was not the best. Workers seem frustrated, don't know if it was because it was so busy. I decided to try this again in 2024, it was not as busy this time but the service still sucks. The lady who took my order to go looked like she didn't want to be there. I walked up to the counter to make my order. There was a girl there and she said that the other girl can take my order, so I moved to where the other girl was standing. Stood there for like 30 seconds before she said anything besides looking at me. Took a good 20 mins to get my food to go (2 pho). As I sat there waiting for my food I watch all the waiter and waitresses walking by with no smile on their face. No "Hi, how are you" no "have a good day" to any customer. one of the best places to get your vietnamese food fix. they're always busy, which is a good sign. the restaurant is clean although the restrooms could be cleaner. it's definitely a quick bite type place too, since they're usually slammed but so yummy. although the spring rolls are tiny, i'm reluctant to hold that against them. the soup is always plenty and that's typically what people are going for, so no complaints from me. my vietnamese friend suggested tang le to me so that's how i know it's the real deal! read more

This is that hidden gem you want to stumble on and find and then not forget about. Tucked back in the strip mall on the southeast corner of Kenosha and Aspen is this FANTASTIC Vietnamese spot you must try! Like many local spots the decor isn't all that great, it's clean and kept well, but not overwhelming. This is USUALLY a good sign. The effort is put into the food and wow was I surprised at how good it turned out! I enjoyed a starter of spring rolls which were exactly what you'd expect. Very delicious and fresh. Of course I loved the peanut sauce they were served with. I really wanted to try the pho but I opted for something different. I had the Bun Cha Gio and boy I was glad that I went for something new and different! This was so yummy! I was also surprised at how full and satisfied I was! I was able to polish this off and not feel horrible about myself for doing so! There is definitely something to be said for quality ingredients prepared well! The egg roll, along with the beef, chicken and shrimped all worked well together and with the veggies and vermacelli noodles really made a complete and delicious meal! I am excited for subsequent visits where I try the pho and other Vietnamese classics.
