Supposed to be hot fried dough I watched them take it out of the freezer and put it in the microwave has signs of freezer burn
    Jo T.

Poor service. No one greets you. They have automated order boards, you seat yourself with a number. Finally front person shows up but walks past you to the bathroom with his phone. We see the pictures on menu board... we order. Our food does not look as advertised. Pho broth is milky and warm. We ordered extra Tendon at $4 and it's overcooked and like snot balls. We ordered the fried dough stick and picture shows it golden brown and crispy . I buy these frozen I know how to cook them. I tell the front counter person can it be air fried and he says "that's the way it's suppose to be? Frozen and microwaved???? I told him I know it's suppose to be fried. They also are heating up hot French bread someone else's order. I asked can my microwaved frozen dough me heated he said he can't take food back behind the counter once it's given to the customer I get that but don't argue with me on how food supposed to be prepared. It's frozen dough. You either reheat in the air fryer or you fry it you don't microwave it from the freezer. I saw staff take from freezer I noted to my spouse it's the same brand we use. Look at the color. It's pasty white and it has signs of freezer burn . Pho broth should be hot enough to cook the rare meat. Overall nasty I'm attaching photos from their menu and what we received And you have to pay and give tip in advance ! Then you get your own water, bus your own tables. Irritates me when then want 18 percent tip up front.

The drink prices lowk nuts, self clean-up, order up front and pay beforehand The prices at pho banh were a bit high for what was offered in service. I wouldn't mark this establishment as a traditional pho restaurant. You order up front at a counter, get your own drinks - aside from menu ones - and clean up after yourself as well. The drinks were expensive and we had to take it off of our order because it vastly changed the bill. The food had pretty good flavor and I was pleasantly surprised ! Overall, though the food itself is pretty good, with the self serve and price factored in, I'm not sure if I'd visit again.

The pho was delicious and there was a generous amount of meat in each of the bowls! Fast service as well.

Really like a Bành mi sandwich and the ones at Pho Banh have actually gotten better since they opened. Tried the beef dumplings and they were good. 3/5 Banh Mi sandwich S2 Korean Beef, like the ones I get in SLC just a little better, more flavor. 4/5 Friendliness and cleanliness, 5/5

I Was very disappointed by the quality of the soup here. The Bún Bò Huế had no flavor and tasted old. You can see the bubbles at the top of the soup. The meat ( ribs ) was dry and tough to eat. The meatballs had a very sour taste. The oxtail soup was the opposite. It was extremely flavorful, but there wasn't enough oxtail in there for the price. It's not worth it. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The service is extremely nice. Waiters are very kind and accommodating. Four out of 10 would not recommend especially for the price.

Pho special - aroma was great, but none of those flavors came through. Also, way lacking in salt. Chicken teriyaki bowl - decent. Spring rolls - these were a huge disappointment. They are supposed to taste fresh and be packed with herbs. Instead of herbs they used spinach, which was strange. They were really bad even with the sauce and we couldn't finish them.

the most peaceful and delicious meal to get you feeling better after a hangover or a breakup. A ginormous amount of noodles, savory goodness broth and the most tender oxtail I've had in Utah. The cherry on top would be the amazing and kind staff who make it very easy to feel at home. 10/10

It's very hard to find a good pho spot in Davis County especially when you know how good pho tastes. I didn't want to drive 35 mins south, decided to door dash Pho Banh and it sure did not disappoint. The portions were massive for two people to share if you wanted to. I ordered the pho meatballs, and they did not skimp on the meatballs like most places do. They give plenty of broth and noodles along with veggies. The broth is pretty flavorful. Also ordered the Vietnamese coffee, can never go wrong! Definitely recommend Pho Banh if you're looking for something local.

From Yelp reviews, we started the gastronomic adventure with lunch at Pad Thai. After a pleasant meal, I inquired as to where I could locate an Asian grocery store. The lovely lady tending us directed us to Z World Express. It took a couple of passes up and down Main street looking at both ends of the RV lot we were directed to look for before spying the brick building with red white and blue sign. Not much to see from the outside, no hint that groceries are there, but on inside, jackpot!! This place is packed floor to ceiling with tiny aisles you have to squeeze through. There is a nice representation of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and some Indian selections. There are several chest freezers filled with a plethora of frozen seafood. The back wall is a bank of coolers with a nice selection of fresh veggies, Fresh Pho Noodles, and other tasy treats. I picked up Tom Yum soup base, Masaman Curry Paste, coconut cream, Thai Tea, instant Pho broth, Mabo Tofu sauce and a nice selection of snacks. Prices are actually a little less than what I am used to paying in Seattle, another nice bonus. The owners were very engaging and very helpful. They directed us to Best Teriyaki for a Korean fix, which turned out to be spot on. Good service, excellent selection of foods, definitely a hidden gem

I ordered the Pad Thai with vegetables and tofu with no egg. The sweet lady who cooks happened to take my order that afternoon, and she reassured me that her vegan Pad Thai was prepared on strictly vegan surfaces. First of all, the portion is HUGE. She lines the clamshell styrofoam container with tin foil which I appreciate - there's nothing worse than getting an order in styrofoam with the bottom melted into my food - and PACKED it full of Pad Thai. The Pad Thai comes with huge chunks of broccoli, cauliflower, marinated tofu (I just about died from deliciousness)! Even if veggies aren't your thing, it's so well flavored, you'll crave it. I ordered the panang curry for my husband, and it's a good thing I went with a double order because he loved every bite. The lime leaves flavored the broth beautifully and the amount of chicken is unbelievable. Try it. Seriously... try it.

There were several other diners but it was peaceful. I ordered panang curry pork. Before it arrived, I was given a side salad that I wasn't expecting, which made for a good start. I asked about their spice levels, which go 1-5. They said if I had had Thai hot things, 5 would be fine. And it was just fine! Great flavor, good rice and a portion that you could share. I got some massaman curry chicken to take for the folks back home, at a medium spice. This is a family favorite and this was a good rendition. We would opt for a higher spice level next time, that's just how we roll. Service was attentive but not overbearing. My water glass never ran dry :-) A nice setting and we will be back.

99 Thai Fusion is a place that I just want to love, so much so that I've been there twice. Sadly,…read moreit really isn't hitting the authentic Thai mark (especially in regards to spice). First time, I ordered their Ginger Stir-Fry entree with beef. You can choose fried rice for an extra $1 over the steamed Thai Jasmine. So that is what I did. The spice levels go from 1 to 5. I chose 5 and instead of cooking the Stir-Fry in spice, they gave me a small condiment cup with chopped peppers. There was spice in the condiment cup; but definitely not a level 5 and certainly not enough for the whole entree. Very disappointing there. The Stir-Fry itself was completely bland, pretty greasy, and slimy throughout. Definitely too much vegetable oil was used in the cooking process. The beef was quite a bit undercooked (almost raw). Sadly the whole entree itself was a disaster... but, the fried rice definitely (somewhat) made up for it. It had a slight garlic taste to it along with some miniscule egg fragments. Either way, I decided I would give this place another shot on a different day. So for my next visit, I decided to go with their lunch combo/special so I could try out a few other things minus a large bill if it didn't work out. It includes your choice of entree from their lunch combo menu (along with meat preference), plus salad/one egg roll/steamed Thai Jasmine Rice/choice of soup (either hot & sour or coconut). I went with the Black Pepper Garlic Stir-Fry with beef and their coconut soup. Once again, I requested level 5. Instead of the chopped chili's, this time I just received a small condiment cup of chili flakes. The Stir-Fry was completely bland and once again greasy/slimy, and also a very small portion size compared to other Thai restaurants that offer lunch specials. The egg roll came with sweet chili sauce and was pretty good. The rice was okay. The coconut soup is what blew my mind! OMG, what a delicious surprise! UGH, I want it right now just thinking about it. It was by far quite possibly, the best tasting soup that I have ever had. The flavor had a bit of sweetness but not too much. It also contained cabbage and tiny chopped pieces of chicken. The liquid itself was just fine on it's own, and TBH I didn't even notice it had other ingredients until I started scooping instead of slurping (lol). Surprisingly the complimentary salad was also a nice surprise. Very basic looking, but it was extremely fresh (definitely had been washed but wasn't drenched or dried up), extremely crisp, and also flavorful with the included Ginger dressing. So as you can see, I'm on the fence about this place. Restaurant was clean and employees were very friendly during both of my visits. Only wish they would actually honor level 5 (Thai Spicy) and maybe cook the beef just a little bit longer and lay off of the cooking oil. But that coconut soup is definetly calling my name for another day.....

We went here around lunchtime and got the lunch combo special a Steak Pho which came with 1 spring roll or 1 egg roll. I got the egg roll and it had pork and shrimp in it. The steak pho's broth was good, but it didn't come with a lot of veggies. I am Vietnamese so I expected a lot of veggies on the side. You want to make your pho smell full of that veggie plus pho smell. Despite there not being a lot of veggies, it was okay. There were three things I didn't like about the pho. One, the noodles were cut. This should never be the case. All pho noodles should never be precut. And two, they never gave out chopsticks. You had to ask for them. So I'm assuming you expected everyone to eat with forks? Is that why the pho noodles were precut? Three, there weren't a lot of meat with the steak pho- maybe 4 pieces in total. The egg roll though was really good. I love the large egg roll piece. It was perfectly fried and there was a lot of filling in it. I would say that the egg roll was the star of the meal.

Definitely tasted grilled/barbequed like. Not fried in a pan or cooked in the oven like all the other establishments. It had a very smoky flavor (heavenly), which definitely wasn't from the sauce (as that was teriyaki). 10/10 cooked perfectly without overdoing the included teriyaki sauce on top. Good portion size for a Bento Box that also came with steamed white rice, two orange slices, two gyoza, and a fresh salad with ginger dressing (also not overdone/oversaturated). Their attention to detail, spiciness, and fresh food is what keeps me coming back again and again! Very addictive. If you are on the curious side but don't want to spend a fortune, I highly recommend their lunch special: Any Two Entrees Lunch which comes with a medium (20 oz) beverage of your choice, an egg roll or a cheese wonton, and your choice of different Curry's and Stir Fry's. I always mix & match and pick one curry and one stir fry to try out the flavors. Curry and Stir Fry comes with your choice of protein: chicken, pork, or beef (for a small additional fee). So far I've tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Panang Curry. In regards to the Stir Fry's, I've tried the Black Pepper (OMG...ask for Thai Spicy if you can handle it...Sooo delicious)! Thai Basil Stir Fry and Cashew Nut Stir Fry are equally as good. The Sweet & Sour Stir Fry definitely has a different sauce taste compared to other establishments. Not necessarily my fave, but there really isn't one dish that you can go wrong with. I've also tried their Beef Salad which was abundant in both fresh vegetables and beef. You also can request your spice level on the dressing...so of course I went with the spiciest that they could make and it was fabulous! It also includes a side of white rice. I'm beyond impressed with this restaurant and wish that I lived closer to it. I'd be there everyday (they are closed on Sunday). I can't recommend them enough and I sincerely thank the owners for always doing the best they can to meet my extremely high spice level. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Tom Yum Kai has just the right amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful. You can taste the lemongrass and a hint of fish sauce. We also ordered the chicken satay. During payment, the owner moved items (paper & containers), wherein I observed insects scatter across the counter. The owner quickly attempted to smash the insects and swipe/wipe the vectors to the ground. Upon observation, I requested an immediate refund, wherein I was informed that the food was already purchased and no refund would be provided. An accusation of starting trouble all the time was stated, wherein I stated I have not ordered anything in two years--a feeble attempt to not refund. This place is filthy and has rapidly declined in atmosphere. Young children are also running around in the lobby and kitchen area, which is another safety concern. The health department (Davis County Health; John) has been notified with filing. I will not return to this business and strongly recommend others not to frequent this business.
