Everyone posts the pho, it's good. I don't eat pho so for you who don't like pho here's for you. I eat their Chinese/wok menu, super fresh cooked food, general chicken is awesome and beef broccoli. I'm never filled by the Mongolian beef but it's great. Portions are solid and staff is always great'! If you don't like pho but everyone else does! Come here and try the general and everyone else can get their great pho. read more

Normally the food and service here is good. The restaurant is under obvious renovations and when I say down everything was fine, I thought maybe theybwere working when the restaurant was closed. I was wrong. I was halfway through lunch when they started painting and the smell of the fumes took over the dining room. I would avoid dine-in until the renovations are complete. read more

Went to Pho Basil for an early dinner. Very good food! We had Orange Chicken, Meatball Pho and a Banh Mi. All were very good and authentic tasting. The service was very good, friendly and fast! Lots of seating in a very either bench or table sitting is available. We very much enjoyed our dinner at Pho Basil. read more

Its a very busy place. Every time we go there are lots of people but the workers get you seated quickly. A lady worker is always so thoughtful and talks to us, greets my kids, & makes sure the noodles are not too hot for the kids ( she always offer ice to cool it down ) Always checking up and making sure everything is good. Pho delicious and well seasoned. They give good portion. Sometimes I can't even finish because it is too much. Banh Mi sandwich is perfectly made every time. & my all time favorite especially when I was pregnant and till this day is the grilled short ribs rice plate. VERY VERY VERY TASTEFUL. read more

I've dined in and ordered takeout from this place multiple times. The service has declined compared to last year, and even takeout has been disappointing. My recent Pho (Vegetarian Noodle Soup) came missing toppings, mung sprouts, and garnishes. Prices have gone up, and the broth tastes different every time. The seating is spacious with booths but no tables, making for a comfortable ambience. Sometimes the experience is decent, other times it's not. We love basil! My 3.5 year old says "What if every day after school we go to Basil!". The food is consistently delicious! We are vegan and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable/able to help us navigate the menu. Our favorite is the pho, tofu spring rolls and ban mi(with a few changes). They have quite a few options but we haven't really ventured out because we are really happy with those! The staff are so kind to kids too! Prices seem totally fair. Love basil! read more

We decided to try the sister company of Basil in Everett since we stop by there weekly. It was pretty close to the same food but not as good of quality. The inside of the restaurant is nice, but a little run down. The server was knowledgeable and recommended plenty of other options. We were close to ordering some of the Chinese food on there because honestly when is Chinese food not good? We didn't, we stayed on course with what we have at the Everett location. The pho was good, but slightly lacked a little flavor. They don't have all of the same hot sauces there either. But either way we finished it. The Bahn Mi we ordered was the bbq pork with extra meat. I can tell you they pile on the extra meat way more than the Everett location. It was delicious and flavorful...the one bad thing was that the last quarter of the sandwich was filled with gelatinous meat which turned me off and I could not finish it. I'm sure the Chinese food is good, which we will be back to try that aspect of it. As for the pho and bahn mi's I'll stick with the Everett location. I will add that anything is worth trying at these restaurants as the prices are more than reasonable. Service was good all in all. There was a group of 7 of us that were seated immediately at a big table towards the back. It was perfect for us because there were 3 children under 9 in our party and they can get loud sometimes. We liked being out of the way. Our server was just the kindest sweetest most helpful lady, I really wish that I knew her name. She was so patient with us and helped us each to order the very best thing. She even let us try this crazy green smoothie thing that her child was drinking (they were waiting at the table across from us). The pho was really delicious and the banh mi were pretty good too. I ordered hot and sour soup and it was neither hot nor sour. The soup lacked known vegetable ingredients and was tasteless. I also ordered pork fried rice and a small sized carton was not only expensive and had no barbecued pork BUT it had rubber SHRIMP, no green onions and some other meat which was unknown. This is my #1 pho spot in Marysville! Everything I've had is on par with the best pho spots from California to Colorado! The broth is delicious and very clean. Love the banh mi and spring rolls. They also have Chinese food but I don't typically order it. My son and wife do order the general tso chicken and have never heard a complaint. My only complaint if the inconsistency with drinks, sometimes you get the fountain and sometimes it's buy the can/bottle. Personally I believe soda by the can/bottle is a huge scam, charge me $3 for what cost less than $1, if your going to go that route than sell 2 liters better value! As for the service it's always very friendly and accommodating. The servers have at times caught "issues " that I would have probably never thought twice about. Found it out of fluke as we were crossing the border from Canada. It was rainy day and it was one of those days that only a piping hot bowl pho that would satisfy your soul. I ordered the shrimp chow mein and my food was delivered. It was good. Not great. I think I am very picky when it comes to chow mein and fried rice. I'm used to the noodles being sticky and these noodles were pretty oily and usually fried rice has peas and carrots. BUT that's just my preference. I would love to try other items off their menu because they've received great reviews. I'm hoping that I can give them a 4 star in the future. read more

First time coming in. The place was very well run and organized. The wait was worth the food. We had beef Bâhn Mi sandwiches. Very fresh, tasty and delicious. Bread was soft and crispy. The only complaint I have are the Chicken egg rolls. I paid 15 dollars for four egg rolls the size of Vienna sausages darn near. They were excellent, but not worth that much money. This is a second location for Pho Basil from Everett. For years there was a Chinese restaurant in this location so it was nice to see a new Pho face in town. My first visit here was right after they had just opened for business. The space was a bit cold feeling but I think they were still figuring out the floor plan. The Pho was solid with more meat than expected, no complaints there. I was told they do use a little bit of MSG, for those of you that need to know. I was in and out thanks to the quick service. Pretty disappointed with the food here. Service was great and attentive, but the food was not up to the same standard. The pho was pretty in the middle for me not the best I've had. My expectations were a little high reading the reviews. The broth felt like it was missing something. The kung pao chicken was pretty bland with the sauce lacking flavor. The steamed rice was good as well as the egg roll. Unfortunately, I was dissatisfied with the dish as a whole and expected a stronger flavor especially since it was labeled as "spicy". Felt like a plate of hard vegetables rather than a spicy chicken dish. The small soup that came with the kung pao chicken meal was pretty good as well. A nice sweet flavor that contrasted with the other parts of the meal. The ambience is pretty nice inside and gives good vibes. read more

The owner however was loitering around talking to the older couples in the restaurant about how hard it is to find good employees and saying how his current staff are lazy and it must be a generational thing. This place does not need my review, everyone in Everett and the surrounding communities already knows that this is the best pho in Everett (since Pho Ga closed two years ago). Short version, lots of parking, quick seating (unless they're swamped, then you might wait ten minutes). easy ordering, fast service, lots of your attentive servers, occasionally the owner walks through and checks on the tables. I ordered pho tai, fried egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee. Each was done right, the pho broth is excellent, there's lots of pieces of meat, and plenty of sauces and fixings. The coffee - everyone should be drinking Vietnamese iced coffee. Seriously, it's one of life's great pleasures. The egg rolls are a little small, but they make up for it in flavor. If you're brave, order the fish sauce instead of the sweet and sour sauce. read more

I live in California but come to visit my family in Washington. I came here on a lunch outing with my dad and children. When arrived we were greeted right away and sat down. Customer service was great. They were very attentive and at one point our waiter I'm assuming went on a break but the service did not stop they still checked on us and made sure everything was good. The pho was really good and my son ordered a lunch special, it was so good! My dad had took me to the restaurant prior to it becoming the pho place and I love that there is more lighting in there now it makes it looks so much better.
