    A5. Fried Shrimp Wraps
    Erika H.

This was my first time trying pho and I loved it! We ordered the pho grilled chicken and it came out super fast! Very hearty and full of flavor. We also ordered the fried shrimp wraps. It comes with a Thai sauce that has a nice kick to it. The service was super fast. Except it was so fast it felt rushed. The pho came out within seconds of us ordering it and the waitress kept coming to our table asking if we were done and if we were going to order something else. The place wasn't packed for a Friday evening. It's pretty big inside with lots of seating and very clean. It's located in a shopping center so parking is not an issue. Besides the rushed service, the food was really good and expanded my taste palate to try more pho.

It's been a while since I've updated my review of PB.... and now under a new owner! We came by as we had an urge for good bowl of PHO. The restaurant hasn't changed much in appearance We were seated immediately and our server was very polite and took our order. We ordered a summer roll and the wifey ordered the Seafood Pho and I ordered the Beef Pho. Both our meals were tasty I found mine tasty but a bit salty but the portions were very generous. The Summer Roll with Shrimp was deelish! All in all we had a very nice meal and yes we will be back. Fellow YELPERS do try this place out if you're in the mood for good Vietnamese Cuisine while in the area.

This place was a cute low-key spot. It appeared clean and the customer service was very well. I just wish they had more of a kids menu. But the food was delicious. I will definitely come back.

I got the vegetarian pho and the vegetable summer rolls. The pho was flavorful and delicious, it came with tons of veggies and a decent amount of tofu. You build it yourself and I was able to enjoy two bowls filled. I loved the sauces and extra toppings for a flavorful bowl. I enjoyed it so much. My fav local place closed so this is a little further from my home but it was so worth the drive. The summer rolls also came with tofu which was a pleasant surprise and they were huge and yummy. I will be back. Very nice staff and was nice inside restaurant.

Was in the mood for some soup and ventured to this restaurant for pho. Pho Boca is pho good! Located in west Boca nestled in a small plaza with easy parking. The restaurant is intimate and the staff is friendly. We had the Shrimp summer roll and the pork summer roll. Both were very tasty! Wrapped in rice paper and served with mint and peanut sauce. The sauce was deep rich peanut flavor somewhat thick consistency .... It stays on the roll when you dip into it. The shrimp had a good snap to it ( in other words they cooked it perfectly!). The pork summer roll was full of flavor! Now moving onto the main dish and why we came here and that is Pho! Many options to choose from, we got the Combination Pho which is the house special. Different cuts of meat thinly sliced. The broth was full of flavor and packed with delicious rice noodles. Accompanied by a plate of sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeño, and lime wedges. When added to the soup it elevates the flavor! This soup will please your senses and palate. I recommend trying this authentic Vietnamese restaurant and be prepared for an explosion of flavors.

We came on a Saturday morning right when it opened. We were in a rush and the food came out quickly. I had the special Pho and it was delicious! It really hit the spot. The broth was clean and flavorful. We also had the egg rolls and summer rolls which were good. We had the turmeric wings which we could've done without. The wings were our least favorite. The service was quick and our server was friendly. Place was clean with an open kitchen. I would return for sure if I'm in the area.

Hands down the best pho I've ever had. I'm a pho fiend and I go to every pho place I see. My previous favorite was in orlando where I used to live but now.... I didn't know pho could make me hear colors. The place itself is really cute and quiet, which I wasn't expecting. It feels comfortable and kind of homey. The people working there were also incredibly kind and made the whole experience even better.

The food here was really good. Came by cause we were in the area. And I'm glad we stopped by cause this was one of the better tasting Pho I had in a while. Everything here seemed and tasted fresh. From the vegetables to even the grilled chicken was good. My son had the fried chicken and he's not that much of an eater but he ate a good portion of his meal. That's how I know the food was good. But if I'm ever in the area will most definitely come back.

Don't go here. The servers ask that "cash tips are appreciated" so I left a cash tip. Check my statement and there's an additional $2.00 on the check. Owners weren't really sympathetic to it. Among other problems. There's some others that have the same issue if you sort by 1 star. Seems like an odd coincidence This is probably one of the only Pho places in west Boca unfortunately. If you want good pho or Vietnamese I would suggest you go any other place and make the trek north, south, or east to those establishments. A lot of the good reviews are older so I'm guessing they have changed management or something because the quality has gone down. A big warning sign of this place is it offered Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes which might just be them cashing in on all Asian cuisine. I ordered a grilled chicken with rice, which is a pretty staple of Vietnamese food. The food came out quickly, which was another red flag because it tasted as if it was reheated chicken, definitely not grilled on the spot to order. It was really chewy even though it was dark meat. The portions of veggies that come with the rice dish was also weak, the subbed plum tomatoes instead of beefsteak tomatoes. I had to ask for the tradional Vietnamese fish sauce, I guess it doesn't come with. And then I asked for chili paste, but they gave me chili hot oil which is Chinese, I was confused so I just let it go. My friend ordered the pho, it was, okay at best but didn't have the rich heartiness that pho has, it taste like they used bullion cubes or other shortcuts instead of making the broth overnight which is the traditional way to do it. Service was really bad by regular standards. A lot of the newer reviews seem to lean that way too. I went on a weekday and there was only one table besides me, water was left empty, no checkups, not even a smile, the servers were mostly just oh their phones the whole time, which is fine, but they are in clear view of the customers because the wall is glass. They should Atleast go to the back of the house. If you want good Vietnamese, I would skip over and take the extra drive to another restaurant. This ain't it.

And then there's Chow Thai Cuisine, which kicks the door in and reminds you that spice is not a suggestion -- it's a lifestyle. Let's begin with the Tom Kha Gai. This soup isn't comfort. It's therapy with a PhD. Coconut milk silky enough to calm your nervous system. Galangal and lemongrass punching through like they have something to prove. Lime snapping you back to attention. It's hot, bright, layered -- the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-sentence and just nod. Fire. Absolute fire. Then came the Spicy Virgin Chicken -- and whoever named it that undersold it. This thing was off the chain. Bold heat. Real heat. Not Florida "mild but we call it spicy." The kind of balanced burn that builds instead of bludgeons. Flavor first. Heat second. Respect maintained. You can tell when a kitchen knows what it's doing. This one does. And here's the real test -- the only test that matters: Would we come back? Not "maybe." Not "if we're in the area." Not "with a coupon." Yes. Without hesitation. The Thai tea deserves its own paragraph. Creamy, sweet, but with this subtle floral undertone that sneaks in at the end like a quiet encore. It doesn't scream. It lingers. It knows exactly what it's doing. Now the tragedy. I didn't order the spring rolls. Why? Because I ran out of stomach. Which is both a failure and a victory -- because now I have a reason to return. And I will. The decor? Unexpectedly transportive. You walk in and it feels like you left Boca for a minute. Warm lighting, layered textures, a quiet otherworldly vibe. Not cheesy. Not forced. Just enough to shift your mood. Some restaurants serve food. Chow Thai serves intention.

The ambience, quality of food and service, plus the plating/presentation was top notch. Love the spacious and modern/trendy ambience. There's a wall that separates the left side (restaurant) from the right side (bar/cocktail lounge). There's ample parking in the plaza. The menu is pretty expansive and truly lives up to the "modern" yet authentic take on Thai food. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts was a standout -- perfectly blistered, sweet and savory at the same time with just enough crunch. Super tasty! The Dry Rub Thai Chicken Wings was another highlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a seasoning blend that hits you with layers of flavor instead of just heat. I am used to chicken wings that are drizzled with sauce and this dry rub wings was such a nice surprise. This is honestly some of the best wings you'll find in a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Lamb Satay was beautifully plated -- smoky, and marinated just right. Paired with the peanut sauce and the refreshing cucumber-onion relish, it was a solid dish. Would have preferred the meat to be more tender though. The Jumbo Lump Meat Crab Fried Rice was comforting, served with a spicy green chili sauce. I was warned by our server that the green sauce is spicy, so I tempered the heat by adding more fish sauce. Generous chunks of real crab, fragrant rice, and well‑seasoned flavors. Service is efficient (will update this with the name of our server next time) and warm. The chef/owner is So. He is funny, friendly and hospitable and he makes his rounds to visit every table checking how everything is. This restaurant is now in our rotation for top Asian eats in Boca. The dining room was a bit warm, but once we were seated, the service more than made up for it. The servers were attentive, friendly, and checked on us throughout the meal. The atmosphere was one of the highlights. The Thai music and simple decor made the restaurant feel authentic. We started with the calamari and the chicken larb. The calamari itself was good, but the real standout was the accompanying peanut sauce. It added a rich, nutty sweetness that elevated every bite. The larb was outstanding. Larb is a traditional northeastern Thai salad made with ground chicken, fresh herbs, especially fragrant mint, lime juice. The mint gave it a bright, refreshing flavor that balanced the savory and tangy ingredients beautifully. For our entrées, we ordered the pineapple fried rice and the Khao Soi. The pineapple fried rice balanced sweet pineapple with savory curry-seasoned rice, vegetables, raisins and protein, making it both comforting and flavorful. Khao Soi is a famous northern Thai curry noodle soup with a rich coconut curry broth, noodles, meat, and crispy fried noodles on top for texture. It was our favorite. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were generous... more than enough food for two people. Despite the 45-minute wait and the warm dining room, the authentic atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food made it a meal worth returning for.
