It's been a long time since I last visited Pho Boca. The main reason I stopped going was during the pandemic when they cut back on the basil and other fresh herbs. Unfortunately, they never brought things back to the way they were. I just couldn't justify paying more for less. Fast forward to now. My girlfriend had never tried pho before, and it took me three or four months to convince her to give it a shot. She finally trusted my judgment, which is always nice since we tend to enjoy the same foods. It definitely makes life a little easier. I ordered for both of us. She took one bite of the brisket, then a spoonful of the broth, and her eyes got huge. Mine probably did too. I later found out the restaurant is under new ownership, and whatever they changed... they nailed it. This pho is actually better than the original owners ever made. Years ago, my favorite pho came from a restaurant in Sunrise that has since closed. This bowl tied it. It tasted remarkably similar, and it makes me wonder if they somehow ended up with the same recipe. Whether they did or not doesn't really matter--the end result was outstanding. Once we added a little spice, it went from excellent to incredible. My girlfriend loved it, and now she's already willing to try more places I've been recommending. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the food was phenomenal. For me, this wasn't just a home run. It was a home run, a touchdown, a Super Bowl victory, and a World Series championship all rolled into one. I'll definitely be back. read more

I hadn't had a meal here in about a year, so I took my daughter to dinner the other night. Happy to report that it's still great! I got the beef brisket pho and I shared a side of crispy tofu. My daughter got the stir fried beef and rice. All the food was sensational! I absolutely loved their broth, it was piping hot and super flavorful. But hands down the crispy tofu has to be their best dish. They serve it right out of the fryer and add just a hint of salt and seasoning, it's so good! All in all, this is an easy 5 star rating. Pho Boca feels like a place that knows exactly what it is good at, and when it stays in that lane, it shines. The seafood pho is excellent. Truly top tier and second to none. Deep, rich broth, perfectly cooked seafood, and the kind of bowl that makes you slow down and appreciate it. This alone is reason enough to come back. The beef and brisket pho also delivers. Bold flavors, hearty, and satisfying. Comfort food that actually comforts. The pan fried dumplings, however, did not live up to their usual standard. They were fine, but "fine" feels like a letdown when you know what this kitchen is capable of. A rare off moment. Service was efficient but a bit sterile. Everything arrived as ordered, but without much warmth or personality. You feel taken care of, just not especially welcomed. That said, this is still a strong four star spot. When the pho is this good, a couple of stumbles do not weigh it down too much. Pho Boca has all the tools to be even better, and with a little more consistency and warmth, it could easily level up. read more

This was my first time trying pho and I loved it! We ordered the pho grilled chicken and it came out super fast! Very hearty and full of flavor. We also ordered the fried shrimp wraps. It comes with a Thai sauce that has a nice kick to it. The service was super fast. Except it was so fast it felt rushed. The pho came out within seconds of us ordering it and the waitress kept coming to our table asking if we were done and if we were going to order something else. The place wasn't packed for a Friday evening. It's pretty big inside with lots of seating and very clean. It's located in a shopping center so parking is not an issue. Besides the rushed service, the food was really good and expanded my taste palate to try more pho. read more

It's been a while since I've updated my review of PB.... and now under a new owner! We came by as we had an urge for good bowl of PHO. The restaurant hasn't changed much in appearance We were seated immediately and our server was very polite and took our order. We ordered a summer roll and the wifey ordered the Seafood Pho and I ordered the Beef Pho. Both our meals were tasty I found mine tasty but a bit salty but the portions were very generous. The Summer Roll with Shrimp was deelish! All in all we had a very nice meal and yes we will be back. I got the vegetarian pho and the vegetable summer rolls. The pho was flavorful and delicious, it came with tons of veggies and a decent amount of tofu. You build it yourself and I was able to enjoy two bowls filled. I loved the sauces and extra toppings for a flavorful bowl. I enjoyed it so much. My fav local place closed so this is a little further from my home but it was so worth the drive. The summer rolls also came with tofu which was a pleasant surprise and they were huge and yummy. Was in the mood for some soup and ventured to this restaurant for pho. Pho Boca is pho good! Located in west Boca nestled in a small plaza with easy parking. The restaurant is intimate and the staff is friendly. We had the Shrimp summer roll and the pork summer roll. Both were very tasty! Wrapped in rice paper and served with mint and peanut sauce. The sauce was deep rich peanut flavor somewhat thick consistency .... It stays on the roll when you dip into it. The shrimp had a good snap to it ( in other words they cooked it perfectly!). The pork summer roll was full of flavor! Now moving onto the main dish and why we came here and that is Pho! Many options to choose from, we got the Combination Pho which is the house special. Different cuts of meat thinly sliced. The broth was full of flavor and packed with delicious rice noodles. Accompanied by a plate of sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeño, and lime wedges. When added to the soup it elevates the flavor! This soup will please your senses and palate. I recommend trying this authentic Vietnamese restaurant and be prepared for an explosion of flavors. read more

Hands down the best pho I've ever had. I'm a pho fiend and I go to every pho place I see. My previous favorite was in orlando where I used to live but now.... I didn't know pho could make me hear colors. The place itself is really cute and quiet, which I wasn't expecting. It feels comfortable and kind of homey. We visited Pho Boca on the evening of February 6, 2026 with our family of four. Our food was ordered and delivered relatively quickly by a helper (not our assigned waitress), and that was unfortunately the last service we received for the remainder of the meal. We were never given spoons for our pho (which, as a reminder, is soup), and no one checked on us afterward. After waiting for some time, I had to get up and retrieve spoons myself from the back bar area. We later ran out of water and, again, no one came by. I eventually found a half-full water pitcher sitting on the back counter and helped myself, as if I were part of the staff. Throughout our entire visit, our waitress was nowhere to be seen--except behind the counter continuously making boba drinks. After we finished eating, we waited again for the check, but no one came. I finally had to go to the front to pay, where I discovered that our waitress was also acting as the front clerk. I explained our experience at checkout and left no tip--something I don't do lightly, but service was essentially nonexistent. It honestly felt like she was completely disengaged from the dining room that night. The food itself was fine, but management seriously needs to limit dine-in seating based on staffing levels. There's no excuse for this level of inattention. With better front-of-house management, this place could do much better. read more

Caveat: I know little about Vietnamese cuisine. The menu was a total mystery to me. Hence this review should be taken with that in mind. I can say the following: The restaurant is popular. Even at 5:30 PM mid week half the tables were filled with what I suspect were repeat customers. No ambiance but the service is friendly, efficient and helpful. Portions are large. My advice if you are new to Vietnamese food. Read the menu on-line and do some research beforehand or go with someone who can point you in the right direction. Certainly worth a visit if for nothing else, the education. Having said that while my meal was fine I will stick to Chinese or Thai venues where I am more comfortable ordering. read more

Amazing we found a delicious Pho spot in Boca. Who would have thought. The broth was amazing. We had the brisket someone rose had the grilled chicken both had great flavor and big portions. We shared a grilled pork banh mi to see if it was worth having in the future and it did not disappoint. Over all a great find! The place is a storefront nothing fancy,service was spotty and the food was nothing special which is why I am so disappointed. I try to only dine in mom and pop restaurants and truly dislike giving negative reviews that being said here goes; We started with the shrimp and pork summer rolls, no presentation and no flavor, it was so cold I felt like I was eating plastic. The server recommended the pad Thai ok I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, the shrimp were good size but no flavor and no not tossed either the noodles. The pad Thai sauce was sweet, the ground peanuts served on the side of the plate just wasn't good. My friend ordered one of the specials when it came it looked nothing like the server described. Absolutely incredible experience and delicious soups. I always start with the fried pork spring rolls they make them perfect and serve them with the perfect dipping sauce. Gotta have the rare beef pho soup filled with beans sprouts jalapeño that you add on your own and the brisket and seafood is also fantastic. They used to make a pho duck soup that my wife loved but they don't have it anymore she's disappointed with that decision. There's other great things on the menu but we usually go for lunch and stick with lunch items. The broth is the show stopper for the pho soup it's the best I've had anywhere. read more

The food here was really good. Came by cause we were in the area. And I'm glad we stopped by cause this was one of the better tasting Pho I had in a while. Everything here seemed and tasted fresh. From the vegetables to even the grilled chicken was good. My son had the fried chicken and he's not that much of an eater but he ate a good portion of his meal. That's how I know the food was good. Don't go here. The servers ask that "cash tips are appreciated" so I left a cash tip. Check my statement and there's an additional $2.00 on the check. Owners weren't really sympathetic to it. Among other problems. There's some others that have the same issue if you sort by 1 star. Seems like an odd coincidence This is probably one of the only Pho places in west Boca unfortunately. If you want good pho or Vietnamese I would suggest you go any other place and make the trek north, south, or east to those establishments. A lot of the good reviews are older so I'm guessing they have changed management or something because the quality has gone down. A big warning sign of this place is it offered Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes which might just be them cashing in on all Asian cuisine. I ordered a grilled chicken with rice, which is a pretty staple of Vietnamese food. The food came out quickly, which was another red flag because it tasted as if it was reheated chicken, definitely not grilled on the spot to order. It was really chewy even though it was dark meat. The portions of veggies that come with the rice dish was also weak, the subbed plum tomatoes instead of beefsteak tomatoes. I had to ask for the tradional Vietnamese fish sauce, I guess it doesn't come with. And then I asked for chili paste, but they gave me chili hot oil which is Chinese, I was confused so I just let it go. My friend ordered the pho, it was, okay at best but didn't have the rich heartiness that pho has, it taste like they used bullion cubes or other shortcuts instead of making the broth overnight which is the traditional way to do it. Service was really bad by regular standards. A lot of the newer reviews seem to lean that way too. I went on a weekday and there was only one table besides me, water was left empty, no checkups, not even a smile, the servers were mostly just oh their phones the whole time, which is fine, but they are in clear view of the customers because the wall is glass. They should Atleast go to the back of the house. If you want good Vietnamese, I would skip over and take the extra drive to another restaurant. This ain't it. read more

Wanted my mom to try Vietnamese for the first time. Pho Boca had great reviews so we came for dinner. We both ended up with Bun. I had BBQ pork and she had chicken. The first issue was that my mother's food was brought to the table almost 5 min before mine. There really isn't an excuse to do that when it wasn't busy, and we're talking about 2 single meat buns with nothing different between them besides meat type. When my food arrived, for the most part it was tasty but the low star rating mainly comes from both my BBQ pork and mom's chicken being cut into strips and very dry. I prefer my meat to come off the grill in one piece so that all of the juices remain in the park. The meat was so dry and overcooked and didn't really add anything to the meal. Because the staff were very nice and there was plenty of seating, I'd be willing to come back and try a banh mi for lunch or maybe a pho or other dish for dinner. Walked in and was seated immediately for a party of 1. There were about 4 other occupied tables with parties of 3 or more. My server was "Dunkin" and he's very nice and attentive. The ambiance is pretty chill, nothing special. They have a 2-4-1 on SOME alcoholic drinks M-F 3pm-6pm. I ordered a Stella (2/1). For an appetizer I ordered the pork egg rolls. They were hot n fresh, my only thing is they didn't let the grease drain before serving and they got a little soggy. Nothing major. Then I ordered the combination Pho w/ a fried egg on the side. We've been eating from Boca Pho for several years and love the soup. Recently had an BAD experience because they charge a delivery fee and have a tip button when checking out. I loved their veggie pho here! My whole family ate here and everyone enjoyed it, even my dad whom is not a huge fan of pho to begin with. It was delicious and service was great! We also got their veggie dumplings and they are some of the best veggie dumplings I've ever had, so flavorful. Hair in food. Tried this place for the first time tonight and regret it. The first thing I do when I get home from picking up is open up summer roll container and there is a big black strand of hair on it. Now I don't normally get down to Boca, but I was in the area and craving pho. A quick google found me this place. It's not a huge space, but very comfy and inviting. When we got there we were the only ones inside but within minutes several more tables filled up. The servers were friendly and helpful, big smiles and always available if you needed something. Had the steamed dumplings, wrapped shrimp and rare beef and brisket pho. The dumplings were soft and pillowy, the dipping sauce (got the peanut sauce) was cool and creamy. My wrapped shrimp were crispy and delicious. The pho, ok the broth and noodles were yummy and the brisket was tender, but the rare beef got dried out very fast in the soup and I wasn't really able to enjoy that, however, overall I truly enjoyed the experience. Next time I'll do the shrimp pho. If I'm in the area I would definitely come again. read more

If there's any time to support this great family-owned Vietnamese place, it's now. A week or so ago, I stopped in for lunch and one of the front doors was boarded up. I asked what happened and was told, that someone broke in the night before. How sad, trying to take advantage of hard-working people. Ok, now for the food. It's always consistent and always good. Pho Boca is fantastic! Freshly made shrimp chips arrive at the table while you're waiting for the food. Spring Rolls come 2 to an order, are made with shrimp, pork, vegetables, and noodles wrapped in rice paper and served with homemade peanut sauce. Perfect start to any meal. Grilled chicken Pho is full of chicken, noodles in a delicious broth. Come with a plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and jalapenos to add and enough for two if you want to share or take home for later. Plenty of parking in the shopping center that's located just a little west of Lyons Rd on Glades. Support local and stop in for a delicious bowl of Pho or any of the other freshly made Vietnamese dishes. read more

The guy picking up the phone is super rude, not saying anything to me nor putting me on hold, he just keeps yelling at someone else there and he doesn't know how to talk to a customer nor take orders. There are so many things in their recently updated menu that they don't carry, so what's the point of update? They just raised the price but are too lazy to get rid of items they no longer carry. I think the ownership changed recently and I am not happy with their disorganization, customer service and the portion which is noticeably smaller than before. I won't be back, It's a shame because I have been there many times and liked their food and they were the only authentic Vietnamese restaurant in central/west Boca. read more

I haven't eaten in to have an opinion on service but when I do come in for my pick up I'm always greeted with a exceptional service and a smile. Dare I say it I have yet to try the pho, I have heard great things but man I can't help but order my favorites. I love the stir fried beef noodles with mixed veg in a delicious brown sauce I think the e25 and the chicken pad Thai is really really good, chicken fried rice is 10/10 great flavor I recently tried the triple pepper chicken dish wow fire really really good. Also I never seem to order before 3 to try their banh mi sandwiches but I got to the other day, grilled pork one and wow love love love it highly recommend if looking for a good lunch option or a snack haha. I went to Boca Pho by Glades Road and Lyons. Food and service was fabulous. I ordered extra spicy to perfection. But I have a pet peeve about being nickel and dimed when eating out. I asked for hot and spicy seafood pho which was terrific, but they upcharged me. What is an upchsrge? I never was billed for this before snd I don't like it. I didn't see it disclosed on the menu nor did the server mention this when I ordered. This place is quite a drive for me. If I get nickeled and dimed for this upcharge then there are way too many other Vietnamese restaurants I can frequent snd not have to pay this silly upcharge. read more
