Decent food. I got a lunch special of chicken curry, which came with a choice of rice (white, brown or fried) and egg roll. The eggroll was nice and crispy. The curry chicken was a bit bland, which is not a word often used when describing a curry. I ended up adding salt and hot sauce to spice it up. Excellent Chinese takeout! The fried rice was delicious, with chicken and veggies and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Orange Chicken dinner combo with beef and broccoli combo, which came with an egg roll and soup, not bad and is the standard in many restaurants . The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to include a little more protein in the entrees, as some other places offer larger portions. It's not often that I post a poor review about a restaurant I've eaten in the past. When I asked a family member to bring home dinner from another restaurant they advised it was closed on Tuesday so he suggested returning here. Despite people eating in the small take out the meal that was brought home to me shrimp mixed vegetables brown rice soup eggroll was so bad that now I am experiencing bad shrimp odor exiting my body. From the soup wonton I only ate two broth and flavor poor. 1/2 eggroll not freshly prepared. Main dish just terrible. Fresh vegetables with bad shrimp. They may have a delivery tomorrow but what they served tonight was part it's expiration. Not fresh. I ate two left the rest and ate the brown rice. Minimal white sauce okay I can deal but do know as a 37 year local resident I will never return or recommend. Don't want friends or family to experience the odor. Perhaps all Chinese take outs shoipuld close Tuesday in summer but there was no love in serving this meal. Glad I dodged eating more and just dumped the remainder down my disposal. Serving poor quality cheap bottom feeder shellfish is not expensive. Why use leftover food from your weekend business. I would not recommend going to this restaurant to an enemy. I'll still to the little dive that managed to feed us during covid and is still open further west. Shellfish is some cheap food. Spoiled food is not ethical. New restaurant and our first visit. We ate in the dining room which is small and clean. Service was good. Not chatty but polite with my questions. Refilled our water when needed. Our soups were served first. They were hot, served in a full bowl. Then the egg rolls came hot from the kitchen with some duck sauce. We both had General Tso's chicken. It was medium spicy. Good portion of chicken, a couple of pieces of broccoli, and a heaping serving of chicken fried rice. The breaded chicken entrees all use chicken thigh meat. Review based on one visit. Lunch on a Saturday. We were the only patrons. Important: be warned the sign over the store reads "Sieng House". Must be the previous establishment. My wife and I shared the Dinner special which includes soup and an egg roll. We had plenty eat. I had the egg roll, she had the soup. The hot and sour soup was excellent. The egg roll crisp and also very good. The Mongolian beef was okay but only ordinary. My wife insists never order beef in a Chinese restaurant. She may be right. As other reviews note, Camino is a very small restaurant. Only one table set up for a party of four although tables for two can be combined. I do not know if they take reservations. Thus if you are a party of four coming for dinner I would call in advance to be sure they can accommodate you. Bottom line: Eat in Chinese restaurants in the Boca area are not plentiful. This used to be my absolute favorite chinese spot in town. On my most recent visit, in my opinion it has slipped a little. It is still good, but not great. If you order a dish with pork, you might find it tough and chewy. The problem is that they cut it very thick. I took a knife to it, sliced it thin and enjoy it. If your dish has diced carrots, prepare to work out your jaw. Now I know some restaurants cook their vegetables to death and they are mushy. But there is a happy medium. This is a new Chinese restaurant that took the spot of a former restaurant. In fact, the old name sign was still on the side of the building. But follow the address, and you'll find it with no problem. Inside, it's spacious and clean though small. There aren't that many tables, but you can certainly dine in which we did. They also do a lot of takeout. We had very good service. We stopped by for lunch and took advantage of their combo lunch specials. They also have these for dinner as well but for dinner you get an egg roll and soup is included. The lunch specials ($8.95) are Monday through Friday. They include your choice of rice -- white or brown or chicken fried and either an egg roll or a can of soda. My husband tried their orange chicken. It had a slight kick. He liked it enough to eat it all. He chose white rice and a soda. I had their chicken with cashew nuts. It was very good. I had their brown rice which was nutty in flavor. The chicken was done differently that I've had before and came with a lot of cubed al dente veggies. I chose their egg roll which was the traditional kind with cabbage and bits of pork in it. I'm glad we stopped by. They have quite a large menu with all of your favorite dishes including 13 soups and over a dozen and a half appetizers. They even have a section of vegetarian dishes and a section of "dieter's" options with calorie counts. There are a lot of other items that sound appealing. If you're going to order delivery, beware, Im 2 minutes from the restaurant, shame on me for not picking up. They use Uber eats for delivery, the first Uber took my food and never delivered, 2nd Uber did the same, after 2 hour's of waiting the owner called for the 2nd time and asked if I still wanted my food, he said it would be an additional hour!!!! Wth I asked for some sort of compensation, he flat out said NO. So I canceled the order and am waiting for a refund. I guess it's season so there not interested in local business. SMH read more

With all the great reviews, I couldn't wait to try this place and I really, really, really, wanted to like it. Instead, I left shaking my head wondering why an owner of a new restaurant could allow a customer who placed and paid for an order, leave without their food or an apology....So here we go I walked into the restaurant, placed and paid for an order. Nothing special just a quart of hot and sour soup and an order of steamed shrimp and vegetables. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I came back, they couldn't find the order so I showed the paid receipt. I asked if they just make the order again. The owner came out to tell me that they didn't have the order and they were very busy so it would be 30 to 40 minutes. I could see that they were busy (all the tables were full... no one had any food... first sign of a problem here?) so I asked if there was any way they could put a rush on the order. His rude response was NO and then he handed me a voided receipt of the original charge and walked away! I was shaking my head and the young guy who took the original order came over to tell me they ran out of shrimp. I asked if I could order chicken and vegetables and was told the wait now was 45 minutes to an hour. I shook my head and left. Obviously, they didn't want or need my business. My friend and I live in the area and wanted to try this spot, we began to order and the lady acted like we had no idea what we were ordering, then as our soup and egg roll comes out i set mine up so it could cool and i was going to wait for my main course, she came over pushed it towards me and said "eat, what you don't like it" i said no i'm letting it cool the food comes out and she is standing over us telling us eat eat when it is piping hot, as we go to pay my friend gave $8.65 tip and she looked at me as we got up to leave and cornered us both in accusing us of not not giving a good enough tip saying " you need to give more" multiple times till we had to run out. There were 4 of us for dinner last night. We came because a friend recommended it. The restaurant is small, maybe 10 tables in all. It is very clean. After waiting a few minutes , they put 2 single tables together for us. I saw 2 young men working the room , then another person who appeared to be the chef. Being new, being busy ( all tables were occupied ) After waiting for menus, table settings, etc I had to flag down the man who was taking care of this small but busy place I got the feeling right away that they were over their heads and that we were looking at a long night. The young man took our order. We had to ask for water, knives forks etc Our food came out slowly. Egg rolls, spring rolls, boneless ribs, mixed wonton/ egg drop soup for appetizers, then fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef. The food was ok. Served nicely by the other young man. I asked for tea. and honestly couldn't understand his answer so we lived without it. Bottom line. 2 very nice young men , trying their hardest to make it work. It appeared their takeout business was good, and I think in the future we would probably go that route rather than being there. They still have the sign of the restaurant that was there before them, so is a little confusing from the get go. I'm taking the time to write this review, as the young people were nice, had a sense of humor and I'm wishing them success. My guess is they should have waited a little longer to open which would have helped some of their problems. All in all the food needs some help as does their service. Good luck to them. Stopped by for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised with the very nice atmosphere and very customer oriented employees. Hot and sour soup was excellent. We had pepper steak with onions and chicken with broccoli. Both great dishes. Ok, this place is a surprise in all the good ways. The first thought is, well it's just another Chinese joint, but walking in the doors shows this to be a place that would be nice enough for a full dine in experience. Next up is how is the food?? Well friends, it's really delicious! Spices are just right with a little heat but not overpowering and the more delicate flavors are nuanced. Food is good but not worth the hassle of actually getting it. Ordered online. They told me what time to pick it up so I arrived at that time. I waited an hour standing at the counter for the food with no acknowledgment that they were not ready when they Indicated. This has happened twice now and I'm not going back. Whoa, after a return visit I can say that this is the best Chinese food I have had in South Florida - and I've tried many. While Camino might lack many authentic dishes it does do the Chinese-American items well. . On my initial visit I ordered a Ramen Soup (yes I know it's not a Japanese restaurant but I wanted Udon Noodles) and it wasn't good. This time I allowed common sense to prevail and ordered a Chicken Noodle Soup and it was very good. I also went with other chicken items and they were excellent. A Black Bean Chicken had a nice heat to it but more importantly it had better quality chicken than in most places and was not drowned in unnecessary oils or corn starch. I also tried a spicy chicken dish and this too was excellent and it was simple and satisfying. A Shrimp Lo Mein also was lighter than most places and didn't have an abundance of salty soy sauce. The "new" name threw us off for a minute, but we entered and it is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Great food, and there seems to be a healthy takeout business going on, but we ate in the restaurant and couldn't have been more pleased. Don't let the fact it's small and in an equally small shopping center fool you. I see I haven't addressed the service yet -- friendly, competent, professional. It's a charming restaurant and, yes, it's "Chinese food" but I find around here many of the Chinese restaurants don't really encourage dining on the premises. Since I first tried Camino Asian Bistro I've been totally satisfied with the food, service and ease of ordering takeout. The foods are delicious and well put together - the portions are great! a large amount of food is packed into the takeout boxes. My son and I are now faithfull patrons of this restaurant. The owner is very nice and personable. The dining space is comfortable for such a small area but the place is absolutely the cleanest!
