They even have a great selection of condiments

Delicious fresh ingredients dishes available here, I order 22 and 55 everytime I eat here. The staff are fast and friendly. They really enjoy my dining experience while here.

    Pho and salad rolls

I don't think I've ever gave a pho restaurant a 5/5 as quickly as I did with Galaxy, one must try at this glorious hole in the wall pho masterpiece is their shrimp salad/pork rolls they are glorious huge and the peanut dip is beautiful. The pho is delicious and well made base. I will continue to update the more I go and the more I try.

Been here for many years whenever I'm passing this town, the family that runs the restaurant is the same throughout the years, it's always good to be back to se familiar faces. This time I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Paste Rice Vermicelli, very rich tomato soup base and also had a very pleasant shrimp flavour! This is the best version around! If you don't want to have the usual Beef Pho give this a try! The other dish we ordered was the House Special, and we made it a combo, with a Salad Roll. For sure this is a stop over whenever we are around the area!!

Bun Bu Hue with rice noodles (don't order with rice noods)
    Lina K.

I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and everything about it was delicious and huge portion (I couldn't finish, got very full halfway through). Great price for the amount of meats and portion. When I ordered, the friendly man kept asking "rice noodle?" While I just needed to make sure "no cilantro." So I ended up getting rice noodles which bummed me out. Next time I will have to pay closer attention and hopefully get the correct noodles for this dish. The server (owner?) is very attentive and is quick with his thinking, will have to go back!

BEWARE of this place!…read more Food is OK. Meat portions are smaller and prices are higher compared to other Pho places. The best thing for me was their chilli oil It was pretty amazing. They automatically add a 15% gratuity to your bill, and based on their explanation, it's not up for negotiation. If you don't pay attention, you'll be scammed because there tipping "page" pops up first thing when they hand you the machine to settle your bill. In Canada, tips are NOT mandatory. If you are satisfied with the food and service, then you pay a tip that you want - it's a choice. Restaurants cannot add a tip of their choice to your bill, this restaurant is a scam. I'd lodge an official complaint about this shady business. My friends who were there with us will do that too. People need to speak up and not get bullied by shady businesses. We are usually generous with tips but I don't appreciate a restaurant making a tipping decision on my behalf.

Our group ordered three types of noodle soups: #31 Pho Do Bien: seafood #18 Phoʻ Dăc Biêt: six beef cuts/parts #9 Pho Nam: beef brisket All the soups were served hot and tasted fresh. A plate mounded with bean sprouts, Thai basil and lime was also provided for us to share. The broths were very "clean" tasting, not too salty or laden with oil/fat. The amount of protein in the soup was slightly on the lighter side, but adequate. Prices for the Pho were about the same as in Vancouver if not a little higher (for the large bowl). The front of the menu clearly states 15% gratuity will be added to the bill (at least it's calculated before GST!), and the server did remind us the 15% gratuity was already added to our bill when she gave it to us (so, selected "no tip" at time of payment). The 15% was well deserved. We all agreed the soup was very comforting and hit the spot for us.

I found this " vegetable and tofu" roll the most bland I've had. No herb, sauce , crunch.... I am a fresh roll lover, so a little discerning, but this was truly flavorless. Tofu, rice noodles, leaf lettuce and rice paper. Thats it. Like eating a carrier for too little peanut sauce. The pho was filling and came with a plate of bean sprouts referred to as "the vegetables" . The Vietnamese coffee was tasty but presentation awkward. It came as Condensed milk in a cup with a pour- over atop this and the separate glass of ice. I'm no expert in this ritual but I am accustomed to having the milk cold in the ice and the brewed coffee in a spouted vessel for easy pouring into the iced milk. Here we had to mix the brewed coffee, then add it dribbling and spilling to the ice. No big deal but awkward. It tasted good. The prices were reasonable and parking a lot shared with the strip mall . Not within the restaurant's control , but in circling for a spot around one lane, I was nearly backed into by not 2 not 3 but 4 cars. I think I recall a cannabis shop being in the mall or nearby. This may explain that. The service was friendly throughout. The place was empty but the time was odd. I don't think we'd return based upon the fresh rolls alone.

They were also really accommodating as we had a pretty large party of 13 people, although they have a fixed gratuity for large parties, which is completely fair. Food was decent although perhaps over priced? I had the Henry Special which includes a various selection of meats, prawn, and spring rolls on top of a bed of vermicelli noodles and shredded vegetables. Although everything tasted great, I do feel as if the portion size for the meat could've been larger considering the price.

To kick off our experience we started with the fried pork sticky buns, and they did not last long. The crispy fried crust had a very unique texture, and contrasted wonderfully with the soft warm inside of sticky buns with BBQ pork filing. Next we dug into the Fried Combo, which included Egg Rolls, Potstickers and Crab Rangoon. The Egg Roll & Potstickers were unforgettable, but the Crab Rangoon was the real star of the show. Creamy crab filling wrapped in fried wonton paper, and some sweet chili sauce to dip in. Moving on to the entrees we shared the Beef & Shrimp Fried Noodle plate, and the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. The fried noodles contained tender beef and succulent shrimp stir-fried with yellow noodles, Cabbage, Shredded Carrot, crisp bean sprouts, and garnished with fresh cilantro. The dish was very flavorful, with all the fresh veggies and spices tying together the noodles, shrimps and beef. Finally the banh mi. I will admit I have never tried a banh mi sandwich, but I am very glad this was my first one. All the vegetables on top provided an excellent crunch and the chicken was very tender with an amazing flavor. I also added picked jalapeño for an extra touch of heat. All in all this is a very great choice for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely be going into the restaurant next time to try something else!
