Stopped to try this new restaurant for a few reasons I have not tried Pho It offer a free spring roll and soda It was close to 5PM my dinner time and it had outdoor seating so I didn't have to eat in the car. Service was quick and the man serving me was smiling and polite The egg roll or spring roll was hot and tasty I ordered Phad Thai ( the first time I ate it was in Temecula at the Thai Kitchen and they have the best recipe) So I noticed this dish was not the usual Thai type of chicken It had an abundance of sliced onions ( can't eat them ok well I can but I will suffer all night ) plenty of dark meat chicken chunks. ( I prefer white ) a huge plate of noodles with bamboo shoots, and a different flavor than what I am accustomed to. It was good food I could not finish my plate I was served a can of Coca-Cola without mentioning that was my choice for the free drink, that was karmic! I might go back and try the real Pho which another patron was raving about her soup dish. " this is what fresh and tasty should be ". I guess she tried the other Pho place in Hemet and was comparing the 2. I would have given 5 stars if the flavor had been like the Thai food I like better. OMG.... The worst Pho restaurant I have ever been to. Of course everything looks good in pictures but this was bad. We were given our seats and menu. Waiter ask if we're ready to order. Um we didn't even get to look over it yet. So we said can u come back so we can look. She literally came back in 2 mins. There was for of us so we just ordered pho #7 x 2 = 30$ and pho #8 x 2 = 28$ ... also got 2 soda and 1 coconut... total was 74.36$ very expensive. Especially for some pho that was watered down . It literally had nothing in it. More like it was a small size order. See video. This also was not beef flavor pho. It was water . Probably hot water mixes with pho paste . For 15$ the works pho should have filled me up. I never can finish a whole bowl. But this place I was able to finish it and was still hungry. And at the end of our meal the waiter also asked us to put all the bowls and trash at the end of the table. Okay I guess I'm an employee now ... horrible horrible horrible. Oh did I mention after we order pho I asked to order 1 pound of crawfish to taste it for next time. She said they don't sell only 1 pound that I should get the combo meal for $48 instead. So dissatisfied and disappointed with the food :( I paid $19.50 for noodles, tofu and onion and a slice of bell pepper and a shit load of chilli oil on the side. Couldn't even finish the food. I would have given this place five stars, but there was a fly inside which made it hard to eat without having to keep an eye out for the fly. Literally bowls bigger than my head; however, the ingredients for me was not up to part. in the bun I got the noodles were definitely not fresh and some were even crispy and dry... which is not how rice vermicelli noodles should be when being eaten. However, the meats were treated pretty okay. The shrimp was great but the pork was dry. My boyfriend absolutely loved his pad Thai and when I had a taste I agreed because it had more of a savory flavor to it which was pleasant from the sweeter pad Thais. I decided to come here since we haven't been in so long we use to love it!! Upon arrival as soon as you walk through the door it smells like sewer dish water and the smell is through the whole restaurant. We chose to ignore and take our seat seeing as they had an A grade on the door. customer service was nice food was good but as we're eating our meal the wait staff started clipping his nails at a table near by I thought he was doing his toenails as well for the amount of time it took . Imagine a quiet restaurant and nail clippings being heard . Definitely grossed us out. we couldn't even get the staff attention because he was watching a show on his phone. I love pho and curry. This place has both on the menu. They have no idea how to make curry. It was like watered down ketchup of some sort. I ordered spicy. It was not spicy at all. They should really just have pho on the menu if that's all they can do. The pho looked appetizing at least. The server who was also the cashier, an older gentleman, asked if I would like some spring rolls instead. I said I would as I was still hungry and the curry was inedible. So he charged me for both. I had the pleasure to meet Michael and his little son when I went to review this place. It was welcoming and warm. I loved the inside with its covid friendly spaces for my families protection and everyone was so kind and welcoming. Excellent food. We lived in Orange County for years and are very familiar with authentic Asian food, and this place has it. We had the seafood pho, flank pho, shrimp and pork egg rolls, and spring rolls. Everything was fresh and tasted great! We took it to go and everything was still hot when we got home. They provided plenty of toppings and sauces. I read other reviews about the food being cold, but sounds like they arrived AT closing time... what did they expect???
