I usually hit up some great pho restaurants in the greater Baltimore and Silver Spring area so this was my first attempt at some pho in central PA since moving up this way last year. The restaurant was clean and looks like many other pho places I've been to. The service was very quick. I probably waited approx. 3 minutes from the moment I ordered to the moment my food arrived. I would have preferred to eat my summer rolls first before my pho came out. There was only a minute difference on when they were brought to the table. I ordered summer rolls without pork. They were pretty good. My only complaint was I prefer basil inside. It tasted and looked like just a leafy lettuce. Still it was good with the peanut sauce it came with. I also ordered the shrimp pho. The portion was big. I believe they only had one option. The broth was pretty good. I thought there was a good ratio of vermicelli noodles to broth. Great evening hours if you want to get authentic Pho in Harrisburg. Prices were $7-9 for main dishes and $3-5 for appetizers. Went there on a non-busy night. The food came out very fast. The pho soup stock was already very flavorful and did not require much more sauces. The vermicelli pork and egg roll salad was good. The egg rolls were small, but the pork portion definitely off set it.The Vietnamese ice coffee was strong flavored. So stay away if you do not like strong coffee. This is truly authentic Vietnamese, so authentic, that if you don't speak the language - you may not get exactly what you want. They have a very clearly labeled vegetarian menu, and if you order things from it, it may contain fish ingredients... so know what you are getting. I had the Vietnamese tea (and had to send it back asking for just the tea and not the gobs of milk in it). The specialty dish on the vegetarian menu was a hot pot of veggies and tofu over rice. The rice at the bottom was very oily, but it was all very flavorful. OMG! Go...just GO! My coworker and I ordered lunch from Pho Kim today. It was our first time trying this restaurant. Let me start by saying that I LOVE a good Banh Mi sandwich...but I am hesitant to order it at most places because I am mostly let down (okay...I'm picky AF). That being said, I ordered the grilled pork Banh Mi and am eating...no savoring...it as I write this post. I even called the restaurant directly to let them know how delicious their Banh Mi is!!
