    Congee with fried bread sticks
    Yang C.

Best place to visit on a cold day. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the soup really warmed us up. My little boy loved the fried bread and congee -- such comforting food. The restaurant is a bit chilly at first, but you warm up quickly after having the soup. The cute little robots delivering food are fun, though the aisles could be wider; my husband had to move his chair a couple of times to let them pass.

Just as great as the first location this one has a fish tank too. The service is great & prompt. The bathrooms are so clean & private. This location also although prefers cash does accept visa.

Pro: moderate size parking lot, clean interior, friendly staff, delivery app. Con: food portion size, no water. There are the few words that come to mind to summarize my experience here and that would be underwhelming, disappointing, and sad. The parking lot is of moderate size so no issue there. The inside is very modern and clean. The staff greeted us and handed us our menu. For the entree, we order the meat and shrimp spring roll and for the entrees I had the large pho Tai( steak). The spring roll was pretty good but the peanut sauce that came with it was hot which make it taste a bit awkward. I always say that you can tell if the pho is good based on it broth and the broth was a bit to light and not rich enough for me. The portion size was sad because you get a lot of meat but not enough pho noodle. The meat was also overcooked and chewy. All in all, I had higher hope for this establishment but it was a let down and I don't recommend this place to anyone and I won't be back in the future.

After being out in the cold, what better meal than a warm bowl of soup! As a huge fan of the original Pho Lien Hoa on 23rd, this one definitely measures up. Same owners, same quality but closer for us in this case. The restaurant is definitely newer and more modern inside versus the main one. The service was super quick as always and you can expect your soup within 5-10 minutes after ordering. I always order the P11 - Pho Tai Chin. Of course I add in all my extras such as the basil, jalapeño and lime with hoisin sauce and sriracha. This visit, instead of the fresh spring rolls we get which are delish, we went for the chicken banh mi. It was good, tasted fresh and had a little curry taste to it which was not expected but welcomed. It was a bit on the dry side but overall still good. Next time it's cold out, we're going again!

I know I should have tried this place sooner. What a nice surprise! The food was very fresh and tasty! We actually arrived later in the evening and they were still busy. We were quickly seated and n took a few minutes to review the menu before we decided. I would definitely make a return visit. I might have to put this on my regular rotation.

I ate at the original Pho Lien Hoa over on NW 23rd the very first week of setting foot in OKC and have always frequented there whenever I crave a comforting bowl of noodle or whenever friends visit from out of town. I've been meaning to visit their second restaurant for a while since spotting the sign and I finally made it when a dear friend visited from overseas a week ago. This second restaurant accepts credit cards but clearly states they will charge for it, about 3% if I remember correctly. First impression stepping in was that it looked new and, of course, spotless becaude it is new. Nice and bright ambience as well. We got there after the lunch rush but there were a few tables with patrons. We were greeted and shown to our table immediately but we took a long time deciding because my friend wanted to try just about everything on the menu. My go to is the P1 but I wanted to choose something new ... the word pork blood sealed the deal but I can't remember the name of the dish. My friend ordered two bowls of noodle dishes, a small and a regular, as well as two fresh rolls, one shrimp and one chinese sausage. Everything was sublime as usual. The staff was attentive and very happy to be at work. Auntie Lien and her daughter took turns to come up to scold us for ordering so much food and letting everything get cold from yapping too much, hahahaha. They also said we should eat the hot soup first before eating the soupless one the way we did because the noodles in the hot soup gets swelled up and, therefore, won't taste good. We knew, but we had so much yapping to do ... lol .... Auntie Lien was such a nice lady, we talked for a bit and she was telling us of how she'd come to the USA and established the restaurant with her husband. We also found out that the original shop has been refurbished and only just reopened. Pho Lien Hoa will always be my home away from home dining experience whenever I need my comfort noodles and for showcasing my out of town friends. The flavours here never go amiss, they are always busy but also always welcoming and friendly. You get a full belly with the portion size and, for what you pay, it isn't shabby at all.

Excellent Vietnamese food and unlike its first original counterpart you can actually use card here and don't have to take out cash from an ATM! Huge convenience that they should consider implementing in the first location. Also newer environs in a more upscale plaza. Got one of the udon dishes which was excellent, and their lemonade soda did not disappoint. Also got their steamed chicken dumplings as well as one of their jelly desserts - both were great. Highly recommend this PLH location!

Came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon around 1pm, right after the rush. I was seated immediately upon arrival. They don't offer glasses of water, just water bottles only. I thought that was kind of strange? My waitress was Nhi and she was so sweet & helpful! She checked in every so often to make sure I had everything I needed. I ordered the pork & shrimp spring rolls, $4. The peanut dipping sauce paired so well with it! For my entree I had the bun thit nuong, $13, with grilled shrimp & egg rolls as well! The portion size was generous! Loved how fresh everything was. The food also came out fairly quick, the wait was less than five minutes. Coming from California, it definitely doesn't compare to home, but it's decent and it settles the homesickness cravings!

I love how vast the menu is for Vietnamese cuisine. My personal favorite are the Bun Mang Vit, Chao Vit, and Mi Thap Cam. Then, you can't go wrong with their che desserts.. che ba mau, che thai lan, che khuc bach, and let's not forget their smoothies. There are also many honorable mentions. This location is my absolute location over the OKC one because they accept credit cards here. The service is fast and convenient and I think the restaurant is more modern than the OKC location. The family seems nice. I'd definitely recommend them.

An order of crab Rangoon minus one. They're really tasty. September 2021.

Tons of noodles, beef, and veggies. Personally I love when there's a lot of green onions, onions, basil, and bean sprouts. Also, I love when there's tendon and trip in Pho for added flavor and texture. Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls with peanut sauce was a good appetizer. I washed it down with a strong Ca Phe Sua Da. Notes: I was staying in downtown area and got to the restaurant easily on a Lime e-scooter. Spacious and clean restaurant with tons of tables for small and large groups. I was welcomed immediately and the staff were friendly. I even got to practice my Vietnamese and have a short convo about the community. The food came out within minutes after I put in my order. Firstly, as stated in the previous line, this establishment is cash only. We didn't know that going in so it caused quite the hiccup when trying to pay. The employees were very nice and patient about it but it was still kind of embarrassing. There's an ATM available inside as well. Now onto the dining experience. PLH was very busy when we arrived. That did not stop them from seating us right away at a clean and stocked table. However, the ordering process did feel slightly rushed because of the volume of customers. They had a beautiful interior though with low music playing. The tables are all stocked with soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin, salt, pepper, and fish sauce. We had to request chili oil, which they happily obliged. The chili oil alone was a 10/10. Spicy, crunchy, well balanced. We started off with spring rolls (if you don't specify which ones they will automatically bring out the shrimp and pork ones) which came with a nice garlicky peanut sauce. The shrimp tasted fresh and the pork added a nice slight saltiness and texture. The noodles were cooked well and the veg was fresh and tightly wrapped even when dipped & bit. We both ordered the Pho Chin (lean brisket) one large and one small. Both portions were consistent with their descriptions. With the large I got more meat, broth AND noodles. I ended up taking half of mine home while my spouse finished theirs and felt comfortable. The broth was clear and delicious. I was worried that the broth would be sweet since that's been a common theme in OK, but that was not the case. Deliciously savory and balanced with spices. My only note would be that I would've liked two separate plates of side veg (jalapeños, lime, basil, bean sprouts) since we both enjoy these additions to our soups. Overall a good experience for the food alone. For the fact that we weren't told it was cash only from the start, we had to pay for water bottles instead of being offered cups, and the wait time for the check; this was not a GREAT experience. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!
