    Donut and muffin
    Tuan P.

I never knew Quoc Bao Bakery has good sweets until today. In the past, I've came to Quoc Bao Bakery for the Vietnamese baguettes and on occasions egg rolls, which one should because Quoc Bao Bakery is known for their Vietnamese baguettes. This small bakery on 24th and Classen is solely operated by the owner, Mr. Bao, himself. And let me tell you, it is a HARD job. Unlike Lee's or other bigger bakeries, the ventilation system at Quoc Bao Bakery is non-existent, meaning Mr. Bao has to endure the heat of an OVEN year round. I've forgotten how HOT it is inside until coming back today. He is a hard working man and deserved much more. With Mochinut across the street, Quoc Bao Bakery does not offer much varieties of donuts anymore. There was just one type when I came in, blueberry. The donuts and muffins are delicious at Quoc Bao Bakery, better than one would've expected at a Vietnamese baguette shop. In terms of the Vietnamese baguettes, I have to give an edge to Lee's Sandwiches for having better quality overall. What I love the most about Quoc Bao Bakery is the bread, much softer than Lee's. I feel like the quality of the ingredients inside the baguettes is not as good as Lee's. Quoc Bao Bakery does offer buy 3 get 1 free which is a great deal. Having stated the above, one has to wonder why I am giving Quoc Bao Bakery a 5 stars? I feel like besides the criteria of food critics, there should also be humans compassion and understanding. Giving the limited resources to work with, Mr. Bao has done more than an excellent job to provide his customers the best products he could have made, through sheer hard work and will power. I truly feel there is a place for Quoc Bao Bakery in Asian District even with Lee's Sandwiches being not far away. Please support Quoc Bao Bakery.

    Pulled pork banh mi

The banh mi was an amazing deal and filled with meats and fresh veggies, but the real winner for me was the jalapeño sausage roll! It doesn't look like much, but it's the perfect balance of sweet lightness of the bread and savory satiating sausage with a little kick. The bread was warm and chewy yet not too dense and wow I need another (or 5) this week

The man that served me was very very nice, quick and attentive. The food, which I took to go, was delicious. The jalapeño sausage roll had a really good flavor, the breading was nice and it wasn't greasy! (Win) The blueberry cake donut was absolutely delightful, nice blueberry flavor with the crunch of the subtly sweet glaze on top. I recommend this place for a quick little treat at a very reasonable price!

Food is not the same as a year ago. Bread was stale. Also lacking ingredients, meat, cilantro, etc. Egg rolls were not filled completely.

Does this place requires customers to wear a mask?

No, but the owner and workers are masked.

Just went by, Sunday at 5pm, lights off - hours on here and their door say 8?

They some times close early and not leave any notes on their door. This has happened to me a couple times. It's not cool, but I just shrug my shoulders and take my business elsewhere. Nhu Lan has good banh mi. It's across the street from Quoc Bao.

They have cloud donuts, all the soft bread like similar to the Mexican conscious that we eat in the morning same I had the bacon cheese croissant so basically it was a croissant toasted with like little bits of bacon and cheese on it and egg like tiny bits, but it was really good and filling, but lie at the same time. I got slices of the cloud cakes for my team for one of their birthdays, but we got different flavors so we can all try. I'm very excited about that mango strawberry mocha blueberry and original. We shall see. I'm guessing they open pretty early and close at 8 PM. They said to come early because they usually sell out by noon, especially on the weekends and Sundays after church very cute little place you can sit in and have a coffee or tea in your pastry Lil nice chat or visit. It's really really really nice inside of there so excited to have visited and will definitely be back regularly. The girl, the lady working there were so friendly and nice explained everything like the details. What flavors what was all inside of it the different textures like very thorough explanation all smiles all friendly! OK so the update the strawberry was so white and fluffy and the frosting is like a whipped cream kind of so light not heavy not too sweet. Oh my God chefs kiss I came back in the evening for some more with my son, the mocha slice does have a good coffee taste slightly. They had a mango flavor. I wanna try and the blueberry was there.

Came here for my birthday cake. I told my boyfriend he should have reserved it online, but he…read moredidn't. Came in super early about 8:45 am to see if they had one, since it's so early. We didn't see any in the case and the my boyfriend asked the guy at the front. He looked in the back and said they didn't have any. My boyfriend asked him about how it says if we order online it can be ready within the hour and the guy didn't seem to know anything about that. He was trying to get my boyfriend's name and going to reserve an order, but said we could come back around 3 or 4 pm at the earliest. I was confused since on the site it says you can order it and it be ready soon. My boyfriend asked him if they can call if it's done sooner than 3pm, so we can know to come pick it up. The worker said that he didn't know if they could call when it's done and if we need a call or text when it's done to just order online. That's a little weird because I'm sure they can call when an order is complete. So we just decide to order online, since that guy didn't seem to know what's going on. We ordered through the website and it tracks everything. So we went and looked at Walmart and by the time we were done it said the cake was almost complete. We called to verify and it had another 10 minutes before being ready. While waiting we did get two of their pastries which were really good. Some custard filled pretzel shaped item and an almond croissant. Both were so good! I took off a star because the guy working could have been more helpful. Maybe he needs some additional training, so he can answer customer's questions better. The inside was clean, but the pastry cabinets were only about halfway filled when we went in and I'd expect them to have more variety of items and be full being that early in the morning.

The most signage was a piece of paper that said Quincy's so keep an eye out. Their choices were pretty slim. They might have had at most 8 different choices, which is fine, but only one of each for a few items. This was about 10am. Their specialty chocolate pastry was really good. It had a good chocolate flavor without being too indulgent. Their blueberry lemon scone was not good at all. Super dry, the flavor was more of flour if anything. I also bought a sugar cookie which my daughter loved, but I just couldn't get over paying $6 for the scone my husband and I didn't care for. Otherwise the other two items were good. No seating, so don't plan to hang around. They also don't have any coffee either at this location.

They also have a patio where you can sit with tables. There's a restaurant and bar also located within the premises would definitely check those out. They also host events or wine nights definitely ask the staff!
