The best bahn mi you will find in OKC! I brought my boyfriend here for the first time, who is a die-hard Subway fan, and he says that it's better than Subway. It was a lovely time to visit after work, and we enjoyed some really tasty sandwiches and drinks. The coffee they serve is truly excellent. I know it's quite sweet, but thankfully it didn't feel overly sugary. The black coffee I tried was also smooth and good. I definitely recommend going there. I also tried their veggie spring roll, which was really tasty--great if you're not too hungry, but if you're still craving something, that spring roll is a great choice. I had a friend introduce me to lee's and it is so good! It's an order at the counter place with lots of fresh premade food options. They have pastries, hot food, pre packaged spring rolls, sandwiches, noodle bowls. It's a pretty big place with lots of seating. Service has always been great too. The first time I came I tried the lee's iced coffee and fresh spring rolls. The coffee was better than most coffee shops I've tried and the spring rolls were so fresh. I came back and tried the green milk tea boba and their banh mi. The baguette was very crunchy, such a good sandwich! The drinks were good too. I've been to Lee's in Las Vegas and never had an issue with the quality and taste of the food. There was something off with the OKC location and I can't quite put my finger on it. I must say it's an achievement to go to not only the only Lee's Sandwich in the entire city, but also the largest I ever been to in my life. In LA, I would typically go to a Lee's Sandwich maybe every other month and even then I wouldn't commute to a Lee's as the California price with inflation make it more of a luxury than a daily mail. Somehow the moment I saw this large building here in Asian District that I knew I got to check it out. What stood out to me was that this Lee's was more of a "3rd space" kind of like Starbucks where people come to buy coffee, sit down and just chat about their day. While the Lee's locations in LA have the same food as this one, there are more menu items with a wider selection to pick including to-go options. The employees are helpful and polite during my visit. I wouldnt even be surprised if the sandwiches here are flavorful along with the coffee. My only regret is not being here sooner. read more

A great place to stop for a bite! My sister and I were on a road trip to the ozarks and stopped by for something quick the bread is made fresh and is so so good. It's packed with flavor and caffeine. The coffee is strong, fragrant, and creamy. Consistently good every time. A little too much ice tho. We were able to try their fresh and warm baguette. The best item at Lee's Sandwiches is their Vietnamese milk coffee, probably the best you could find. Other drink to consider is sugar cane juice. I also like their spicy noodle soup. It's not the best in town but it serves as a good second option. They used to have Vietnamese desserts like Bambu but unfortunately no longer. The service is really quick. It's amazing, fast food quick. The owner is always there and always seem to be working. I have never seen him show any kind of emotions, just a stone face all the time. Every time I'm in OKC, I stop at Lee's. The fresh French bread is the best in the city and their baked goods are delicious. This trip, I went in to grab a smoothie (avocado is the best!!) and a banh mi to take back to Tulsa, but after browsing the grocery aisle, I decided instead to take all the fixings and make multiple banh mis at home. A friend introduced me to the Lee's shop, and the first menu item I tried was an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, it was super tasty and filling, and also my friend and I ordered a avocado smoothie and coconut smoothie, and it was the perfect balance of sweetness, my absolute favorite menu item would have to be the famous Lee's coffee, you can purchase the coffee iced, and they also offer ground bags of coffee to make at home. its been a while since i've stopped by lees. was with sone friends traveling abroad and we stopped to grab some sandwiches for the road. food overall, i can definitely skip. bread is way too dense and heavy. okc lees has always been like this. the other locations worldwide tastes better. their coffee is strong, just how vietnamese coffee should be. however, we requested less condense milk (way too sweet) but they made it regularly. too sweet fir our enjoyment. we ordered: 2 vietnamese iced coffee, less sweet (2 ly ca phe sua da, it sua) 3/5. 3 combination/vietnamese cold cut baguettes (3 o banh mi thap cam) 2/5 2 vietnamese pork meatball baguettes (2 o banh mi siu mai) 1/5. we requested 1 w.no herbs/greens/veggie. it was all over stuffed w.cilantro,pickled carrots/daikon and raw onions. if youve smelled or eaten raw onions - its really pungent. personally, this was just a no go for me. could not enjoy a second bite. 2 ham/cheese croissant/baked pastry 3/5. the croissant pastry itself was dense for what it was. i rbr lees being way more light, airy and flakey. it was very generously filled w.cheese and salty ham. 4 pate chaud pastry w.minced pork 3/5. similar with the ham/cheese croissant, the pastry itself was too dense. filling was nice - a pinch of salt would help bring out yhe flavours and round it off nicely. 2 trays of fresh rolls/wraps (2 dia goi cuon). looks good but we are too full from the bread to try this just yet... service is usually really friendly and quick. the cashier taking our order didnt seem too pleased. we modified our sandwiches (requesting 1 w.no veggies/greens, jalapeno on the side, and both coffeess to be less sweet). somehow none of the mods came through and the cashier seem less than thrilled the entire time. anyways, thank you lees, all the best in 2024! read more

Lee's Sandwich and I have met many many times. I just never wrote a review until now! This is my #1 go to Bahn Mi place here in OKC. It tastes authentic and fresh. More of a fulfilling sandwich that tastes like Spring in your mouth because it's light, tasty and fresh. I can't tell you what comes on the combination Bahn Mi but I can tell you it's the best one imo. My mom loves their bbq pork but the combo is where it's at- a little bit of everything. Whenever I'm on an egg roll craving, I always bust a mission here. Their chicken egg rolls are a little saltier but the PORK EGG ROLLS? Crunchy, thick, delicious, warm, and 5 for $4.50! This place has really good sandwiches and I would give it to 45 stars, but I am taking off one star because the meat to bread a ratio is inadequate. Don't get me wrong, I really love this place and I love the flavors of the sandwiches and the bubble teas, but I feel like there should be more meat/protein in the sandwich than there is. The bread is really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which makes it delicious to bite into and to taste that deliciously crunchy pickled vegetable on the inside. I like to pair my sandwich with a Thai tea with tapioca pearls. This place is usually pretty busy and I was lucky when I went last because I didn't have to wait in line to order and I got my food relatively fast. All of the tables inside were relatively clean and it was actually a nice day and they were people eating outside. You can either order off of the menu and they will make you some fresh food or you can buy some pastries and breads and pay at the register for your goods. They actually have a drive-through too, which is nice. If you're on the go and you're wanting a sandwich you can just pop over through the drive-through and be on your way. read more

Went through the drive thru yesterday to grab ourselves some boba and snacks. Ordered a large mango smoothie for myself while my hubby wanted a large mango/pineapple smoothie with boba. They were out of boba! Fine, he was okay without boba today. When she read our order back, she mentioned smalls when I had ordered larges so I corrected her and she said she got it. When I got to the window, they hand me smalls. I tell the cashier it's wrong, and he seemed like I was an inconvenience for me to even say anything when I ordered larges the entire time. Not a big deal, but the attitude was unnecessary. Otherwise I still love Lees for my coffee and smoothie drinks. Especially for their egg rolls and banh mi too! Wow I don't know why I never reviewed this place. I've been coming here since they open in Oklahoma City in the AsianDistrict. My ex wife was Vietnamese and I've went to Vietnam with her for a month and eat lots of different Vietnamese food and sandwiches. I've tried so many different food items on the menus from their eggrolls to their European sandwiches to the spring rolls and everything is always pretty solid and consistent. Food is good and so is price. Service, cleaning and temperature is left for a lot to be desired. The above is why three stars. I don't believe this is owned by the Lee Brothers. Lee's is an institution on Classen. Its presence is a part of the fabric of the community. Although it's a chain, it has always felt like a homegrown eatery. In my recent experiences the quality of the sandwiches isn't what it used to be. I can understand as we proceed through a global pandemic there may be some changes. That said, I'd prefer to pay higher prices and get the great sandwiches that has always been Lee's. The ratio of goodies to bread has tipped the scales too far in the wrong direction. The bread is as delicious as always, but I feel cheated by these changes and that's not a good feeling. There seems to have also been a change in the wrong direction to their classic Vietnamese iced coffee. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it's just not the same. Here's hoping the recent changes aren't here to stay. With other Bahn Mi shops in town, I'm curious to explore a new local go-to shop. April 2021 read more
