The A2 egg rolls are my favorite!! And they do 6 egg rolls per order so very good portion size and comes with lettuce and cucumber and cilantro. The Bun bowls are my favorite and the grilled pork is delicious, real thick pieces of pork too! Everything is great. Got my pickup order in 10 minutes and everything was perfectly cooked and packed. We've been here twice now and the food was delicious both times. We had the Vietnamese noodle bowls ( my favorite is the grilled pork and egg roll). Fresh lettuce, cucumber, cilantro and vermicelli noodles. excellent egg rolls(deep fried for the noodle bowl) and crispy pork (texture of pork was like a marinated pork sausage. Served with fish sauce. We also had the crab Rangoon. Th place m sauce served with the Rangoon was typical pink and sweet, but had a hint of strawberry. Service was fast and food was delivered quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. Good job! Will be back. read more

This place has excellent Chinese lunch options, incredible pho options, awesome value, attentive service, and an overall pleasant dining experience. Pho NB has new owners. Even though the new owners were given the recipes the old owners used, the food is not nearly as good as it used to be. We found out where the old owners are now and that's where we go for Asian cuisine! Also, I was told Pho NB has upped their prices on their meals, by $3! I loved this food! We ordered to go and got 1 adult and 1 kids brisket phos, the small egg rolls that had 8 in them, a pork babn mi, and crab Rangoon. The quality of the meat and the veggies for the pho was impressive. The bean sprouts were so fresh and the brisket was bright red, very fresh especially for a to go order. Everything was hot, even after being late to pick it up. The staff were friendly when we went in to pick it up and they had lots of soy sauce and other condiments to grab. We got soooo much food for only about $40. I live in Austin and I would say this place was better than any other pho place I've been to here. read more

I hate that I always forget to review restaurants that I love and go often! This place rocks! Like seriously, I've never left unsatisfied. I've had a bunch of different entries and I've never been disappointed. Fried rice is super good. Rice is coined and friend perfectly and blended with great aromas and flavors that don't over power the protein. What I normally get from here is the A1 Spring Rolls and they are great! Seems they are prepped and ready. But I've never had any that don't taste fresh. The reason I assume is because they always come out SUPER fast. I also always the the Beef Assortment Pho. Comes with brisket, tendon, meat balls, and raw beef. It's delicious! Perfect for a rainy day! The broth is so good and they always have fresh basil and bean sprouts. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. A day off yesterday presented the opportunity for a late lunch/early dinner. The staff was very welcoming, especially the very nice lady who is a family member of the owners. We ordered A1 - Goi Guon, soft spring rolls that had veggies, pork and shrimp, that came with an delicious dipping sauce. Also got A2 - Cha Gio, Vietnamese fried egg rolls, which came with lettuce leaves, cucumber and cilantro. You roll the egg roll in the lettuce with cucumber and cilantro and dip it in a very addictive fish sauce. Next was B1 - Banh Mi Thit Nuong, the famous sandwich with grilled pork (the french bread roll was amazing). Also got V1 - Bun Thit Nuong, vermicelli bowl with lettuce, cucumber, bean sprouts, grilled beef topped with chopped peanuts. This also came with another bowl of that wonderful fish sauce. We split everything and enjoyed it all immensely. The service was great (never had to ask for iced tea refills). Definitely going back for their Pho. The prices are amazing...great value. I was sitting out the door on the ground waiting for them to open and I ordered a banh mi on day one. Today I got the pepper steak lunch special, and as I finished my plate, I said I have to get something authentic, and I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls (6) with the sweet fish sauce. the egg rolls also come with lettuce cilantro and cucumbers to be wrapped around the egg roll, which is the traditional way to do it. Pepper steak: sauce kinda gloppy, bland; vegetables too big. Should have gotten the orange chicken like Larry gets. Fried rice: almost just like boiled rice, no flavor. Chinese egg roll was good. Egg drop soup: outstanding, very thin, deep, and aromatically pleasing. On a very cold day I'd like to come in here and see if I can order a large bowl of this and that's it; Comfort Food Heaven. Disappointed! Food was awful. Mongolian Beef had a ton of gravy, as did the sesame chicken, and vegetable medley! A ton is an understatement, it made it unenjoyable. The Absolute best PHO & fresh Chinese food in New Braunfels. Been here 3 years and I've pretty much hated everywhere here so far. But unfortunately after a trip to Houston to pick up my son he didn't just bring himself he brought a bad ass cold that's got me by the boo boo. And as a Houstonian PHO is a life saver there literally!! So I decided to give NB PHO a chance and I'm so happy I did cause the food is A1. Really enjoyed my shrimp in garlic sauce dinner combo. The fried rice was plain and bland. I prefer it to have a few veggies in it. The crab puff was what others call crab ragoon. I thought it was going to be something special being called a crab puff. The service was friendly. It was not a fancy place. Very much a shopping center stop-in restaurant. But it was clean and pleasant. Menu featured both Vietnamese and the usual suspects of the Chinese dishes. They offer beer and wine. However, they not have either of our initial requests - Heineken and Cabernet. So we had Corona beer. Our request was on the drink menu. They just didn't have it.
