I Have been to a few Vietnamese restaurants here in Wichita. One I keep coming back to for Phở Dặc Biệt is here. The inside is spacious with a lot of seating, and TV's. Music plays in the background as well. When entering you're instantly greeted, and if not busy they'll offer you to sit anywhere you like. Ordering food is straight forward. The service is very fast. Highly recommend this location for Pho, especially Phở Dặc Biệt, if you're in the area. read more

Pho Ong Gia Cali - Phở Dặc Biệt - Vietnamese Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, but I feel like it was very authentic. We ate inside and the air could have been blowing a little bit harder, but is was still pretty comfortable. You get very nice portions for the price. I got the salt and pepper fish, and my husband got the stir fry beef. I also got a Thai tea. All of the food was tasty and came out hot and fresh. They had plenty of vegetables on both items, which was another plus. I would definitely come back again. read more

Food: 10/10 We both got Pho. I got the rare steak and my husband got the rare steak and brisket pho. Both of our meals were great. The pho broth is a little more sweet than other places I have had. It is very star anise forward, but I really enjoyed it. It was very rounded in flavor. The beef in both bowls were tender, not chewy at all. We got grilled pork spring rolls that were really good in flavor and texture! Very fresh. Service: attentive and fast Ambiance: this is one of the larger pho restaurants I have been to. I like the brightness inside with all the windows. It was pretty clean throughout My only complaint is the dishes and the bowls that we were served today had chips and cracks. It's something I do notice and worry about. My only suggestion would be some new dishes or toss the cracked ones read more

Been here a couple of times. Everything we ordered was really good. We had the family meal for 6 (even though there were only 3 of us) and a beef salad. Beef salad was good but needed more herbs and veggies. Family meal was good. 2nd time we ordered mì la cai and bò lúc lắc- both were really good. Also think the prices are very reasonable. Will absolutely come back. read more

Best pho I've found in this town, without question, and the only spot that doesn't make me miss the Asian district in OKC. Quick service. Ox tail pho special is ridiculous read more

Food: Passable, nothing was exceptionally good or terribly bad. The portions were good sized but the flavor was lacking in a tangible way. The pho broth was just meh. For me, a good Pho broth should be tasty on its own, but even when I added all the fixings to this broth, it still was just okay. It had everything a good bowl of pho needs and their menu was vast but if the flavor isn't there, I won't be returning. The other dishes my friends got were fair but again, not amazing. Service: Fine. I did get a water refill, which is a bonus but I didn't feel like the service was great by any means, which would not have mattered if the flavor was there. You can't have it both ways, you either struggle by on the service side but the food is amazing or you have okay food but amazing service. This place had neither. Ambiance: Nonexistent. It felt like I was anywhere and nowhere at the same time. They needed to lean into something, anything. If you are going to serve me pho, then either take me to Vietnam or make it really clear we are in Wichita or make it fun in some other way. There wasn't even good music playing. It was just blah all around. No art, no color, just a nondescript dining hall with nothing really going on. Step up your game, it doesn't feel like you know what you want to be as a restaurant. read more

Really great food and service! I'll definitely be a regular here! Their pho tastes amazing, and everything I ordered my first time around was delicious: Crab Rangoons, Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, and the Banh Mi! read more

Pho Ong Gia Cali - So delicious! Can't believe these massive bahn mi are only $5 a piece! - Vietnamese Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

One of my favorite places to get pho. This location was actually my first place to experience pho many years ago when it was Pho Hien (sp?). The flavor is still phenomenal, delicious broth. Always quick and kind service. And the ambience is exactly what you want from a Vietnamese restaurant. I remember when they would play Vietnamese music videos and music, but that was long ago. Great place, always my first choice for pho. read more

I have been here several times. I am so impressed with how many items they offer on top of all the chef's specials. Staff are friendly. Restaurant is large enough to accommodate good size parties. So far, I have tried the following: 1) Pho with oxtail (CS) (5/5) - oxtail meat was very tender. Broth was so authentic. 2) Pho combination (#35) (5/5) - noodles tasted fresh & slight chewy & lots of various varieties of meat. 3) Canh bun (CS) (4.5/5) - I love water spinach (rau muong) & shrimp surimi (cha tom) is delicious. 4) Bun bo hue (#103) (5/5) - I love that I can control how spicy it gets & so much tender meat. I am not a fan of the pig feet, which I am told I can order without it. 5) Bun mam (4/5) - my sister got this so I asked her to rate it. 6) Family Meal for 2 (#141) (5/5) - canh chua & ca kho to (sweet & sour fish soup & caramelized fish) - my mother and I shared and still we had so much left over to take home. I will update as I/we try new items & try to add pics of our food. :-)) July 11th We had the: 1) Ca kho to (sweet & sour fish soup & caramelized fish) again today - (5/5 still) so so good. 2) escargot in garlic butter sauce (oc bo toi) (5++/5) - they recommended a sauce that is not on the menu - it was so freakin good, we had to take the rest of the sauce home to eat it with rice! read more

This Vietnamese pho is really delicious! The soup is very delicious, rich in flavor but not greasy, the ingredients are fresh and the portion is generous. The beef slices are just right, melt-in-the-mouth, and are very appetizing with coriander and lemon. The service is also very enthusiastic and the environment is clean and tidy. I am very satisfied every time I come here. It is one of the best pho I have ever eaten. I highly recommend it! read more

In my opinion, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Wichita. I love their Pho and my favorite is the noodle salad with chicken or pork. Very friendly staff. And whenever we've been, it's been nice and quiet in there. But they do get busy sometimes, but the food is amazing. The prices are very reasonable. And they have a huge variety on the menu! I've never had anything bad there. read more
