I ordered pho through DoorDash about two weeks ago and was honestly shocked by the portion of soup I received. The broth was supposed to come in a 32-oz container, but it was filled to only about one-third of the cup. On top of that, the steak pho portion was very tiny -- I only got 7 small slices of meat. I would much rather order from Saigon Restaurant in Tracy because their soup is good and they don't cheap out on meat. DoorDash is already expensive with marked-up menu prices, service fees, delivery fees, and tips. To then short customers on the most important part of the meal is not okay. This isn't a Japanese restaurant serving tiny ramen portions -- it's a Vietnamese restaurant, and pho portions are supposed to be generous, especially the broth. Very disappointed. Our party tried a variety of dishes--beef pho, chicken noodle, chicken vermicelli, chicken banh mi, and a bbq beef over rice plate. We were the only people inside around 10:30AM on a Sunday morning and the food came out promptly after ordering. Each dish was flavorful and delicious. We all finished our plates/bowls. My highlights: the banh mi bread was amazingly soft (I always anticipate a scratched up roof of my mouth whenever I take a bite of a banh mi baguette, but this bread's exterior was pleasantly soft and still crisp) and the chicken and pho broths were both extremely flavorful. Service was fast and friendly, interior is spacious and clean, and food was great. I did think the portion sizes were on the smaller side and prices are slightly higher than average. Was not oily at all so 5 * for that. Settled on fresh lemon water and the special pho bowl with a huge bone in. Food was well balanced and they didn't skim on the meat! Vegetables were fresh and full of flavor. Food turned out so well I decided to order the grilled pork spring rolls and some other dishes and more. Pho to go. Food came out fast after I was done with my eat in meal. Everything was wrapped and packaged right. The broth stands out from any other pho restaurants in the area. The broth was clean and had depth of flavor. And the beef flavor really came through. Saturday lunch and friends suggested Pho Queen. We have passed by this restaurant many time when driving through the street so this is our first time trying. I was craving for vermicelli so I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli, while my husband ordered the grilled pork and shredded pork rice plate. My friends ordered the grill pork rice plate and a bowl of pho. The grilled pork was delicious with the right amount of char. The color is darker than some other Vietnamese restaurant which I do prefer the stronger flavor. Only if there is a bit more vegetables for the vermicelli it would be perfect. The rice plate was good too. I did tasted some of the shredded pork and the steamed egg and they tasted similar to other places. Some restaurants would provide a small bowl of soup with the rice plate but not here. We also ordered spring rolls to share. The rolls were ok and tasted like every other Vietnamese restaurant. The service was decent but they forgot to give us napkins, only the ones ordered the rice plate got their forks and knives wrapped in napkins. We had to ask for it but that was no big deal. The lady boss came over and asked if we wanted flan as they just made some. The picture looked great do we ordered one to share. It was pretty good but it would be better if there was more smooth and silky with less air bubbles. Over all it was a pretty good experience with good tasting food with friendly service. read more

Came here after enjoying the sunshine at the park, and it was pretty good! We had a big group of eight (four couples total), and while us ladies had a journal club meet-up, our mens played basketball. So you can imagine we were starving afterward! We ordered a few different things. Between me, my husband, and another couple, we shared some fried tofu, got a three orders of fresh spring rolls, and got a bowl of pho with brisket. The other two couples ordered two vermicelli plates, another brisket pho, and a rice plate. Everyone really enjoyed their meals! As far as service goes, it was just our group and another party of two dining in at the time. Our food came out super fast, and our server was really nice! It was a matter of tables needing to be cleared and place mats installed they have an extensive menu. Of course, it's the PhonQueen so go with their will house. I had ordered a middle bowl of rare beef and brisket pho and jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea came quickly then followed by the pho with the accompanying basil leaves, lemon and bean sprouts. Pho Queen is the King of Pho! I stop by weekly for an order of shrimp spring rolls. They give you four rolls per order which is a healthy portion and a meal in itself. The broth is light and balanced. My bf and I enjoyed it without any add ons. (We usually add stuff like hoisin, sriracha or chili sauce when we feel like the broth is lacking something.) We also liked the noodles as they seemed cooked to order. They were hot along with the broth and with the best texture! They weren't mushy or hard - just right. This place definitely hits the spot when you're craving pho. We ordered the rare steak + fatty brisket pho (one regular for me and one XL for husband). The broth was tasty, meat was standard, and the basil and bean sprouts provided were fresh and clean. We also ordered the grilled pork rice plate which was delicious, and the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl. The chicken was tender and juicy, but a few strands of the vermicelli were slightly uncooked (fortunately I actually enjoy the extra chewiness most of the time). Went to try Pho Queen last night for dinner. Ordered the XL #1 beef pho just like I always do at a new pho place. I was surprised when it came out with a beef bone on the side. It was a very nice touch. The pho broth was tasty. I thought it was a little sweeter than other pho places I have tried, but still great flavor. Also got an order of spring rolls. Also very good. My only complaint was that the noodles were kinda breaking up while I was eating it, but it could have been my fault because I ate the meaty beef bone first. It was definitely filling and I couldn't finish all my noodles (which never happens). Server was very friendly and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Waited around for a couple of minutes before the staff showed up to greet us and let us know we can choose any table. Ordered a regular of the pho noodle soup #10 with spring rolls. The spring rolls consisted of shrimp and pork. It tasted like what you'll find at any Viet restaurant. I would prefer to have my spring rolls with only shrimp though. The peanut/hoisin dipping sauce was lacking peanut butter taste. The pho was decent. We were slightly taken aback by the sheer fact that the herbs plate didn't accompany our pho. We had to request for it. My husband wasn't satisfied with the pho. There were a couple pieces of tendon that tasted somewhat overdue. My bowl was okay. Just wish the noodles didn't come in a big glob like it was sitting around waiting to be brought out upon a customer's order. Service was quick and friendly and it was nice and quiet. We had a terrific experience here. The owner is a super friendly woman who was also our server. There were several customers when we went, but she handled everyone in a timely fashion and with a great attitude and cheerfulness. We could tell she's an extremely hard worker and we have a lot of respect for people like her. The restaurant itself was nothing fancy but it was clean which is what matters most to me!
