Best lunch spot in Breck! It's my regular stop for lunch when I go up for the day skiing. It's located just about a block from the gondola at the base of peak eight of Main Street. The people that work there are very friendly, but they aren't Vietnamese, they are from Philippines. I think the owner is an American guy, I think? Anyways, the Rare Beef Pho is my favorite dish, yummy! The Bahn Mei sandwiches are also solid, as well as the fresh spring rolls. Good for a pretty healthy lunch to break up the skiing. Wish I had read some of these reviews before I ate here. Broth was luke warm and flavorless. A giant heaping portion of rice noodles that were also NOT HOT. I asked for some extra veggies in there, that was disappointing. The tofu was over cooked, also flavorless. If it's the fast food of pho then this is an Arby's in the middle of Nebraska that hasn't had a reno since the 90's- not a Chic-Fil-A. Go to one of the other spots in town or buy some Top Ramen. Just skip, try some other place. We had the rare steak and brisket pho's all of us had to add salt to the broth, it was flavorless. The worst part is that we had 5 different regular sized pho's plus 4 appetizers, we asked for extra sauces and the only response we got from the cashier was "in the box, in the box" of course when we got home we did not have enough. I would've not have an issue if at least the food had some flavor in it. Also, 3 out of the 5 had only one lime and all of them only one slice of jalapeño. For appetizers we had the gyoza & spring rolls, the gyoza tasted ok the crispy garlic gave it some flavor but a bit to soggy for my taste, we ended up pan frying them to give them some texture. read more

This is the ideal place for take-out Vietnamese food in Breckenridge! The dining room is very small and not conducive to a family night out, but after being on the slopes all day, we preferred to call in an order for a relaxing night in. The staff is friendly and the service quick! The pho and fresh spring rolls are spot on! The vermicelli bowls aren't the best I've had, but if this is your preference, i would recommend the chicken over the shrimp. The shrimp have a tangy/lemon flavor that overshadows all the other flavors, including the fish sauce. I'm giving Phoreal only 4 stars because i feel it's a bit overpriced and flavor is a tad bland, but overall i like it and think you should give them a try! read more

The beef pho broth was good but they don't give you very much meat. Plus I would like to add my own sides instead of them adding it into the bowl. My bf got the vegan broth with tofu. For real, this is the worst pho we have eaten. The broth tasted like it was made from pho paste. There were not much to it besides all rice noodles & 4 thin slices of rare beef. We also tried beef banh mi. The bread was more like an Italian roll- too much dough. It wasn't a traditional baguette. The beef also had too much hoisin sauce mixed in it. We ordered from this restaurant in the middle of the winter storm of March '21 on accident, on account that we got the names mixed and meant to order from the Pho Bay across the street from our condo, in Dillon, that we had planned to walk to. Upon noticing our mistake, we immediately called to cancel the order. This business refused to refund or even offer comps moving forward, stating it "wasn't their problem". They suggested we make the drive from Dillon to Breckinridge and risk our lives for $30 worth of food. The road the manager told us to take promptly shut down due to danger, and we would have been in a really bad situation if we took their advice. Food must be great to have this bad of customer service and still be operating. Pho Bay in Dillon is fantastic btw. read more

Great fast pho, bahn mi, sides, and nice service. Both the small and regular sizes of pho are generous with tasty broth and a variety of toppings. We tried rare steak, chicken, and meatball phos, beef bahn mi, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was served quickly with very fresh ingredients and reasonable (for Breck) prices. The bahn mi was served on a crusty baguette with abundant sriracha mayo and fresh veggies. The spring roll had lots of veggies, shrimp, pork, and was served with a thick peanut sauce. A quick walk from the base gondola, this will surely be a regular stop for us! Note, there is very little inside seating; so, you may want to take it to go if it's busy. read more

This place is a good fit for breck. I'm honestly glad that somewhere like this is here for the population up here. The staff is super accommodating and polite. That being said- this pho isn't as good as the big cities (Denver, Colorado Springs), it isn't bad, but it's not life changing. I'm no food god- but this is just my opinion. I feel like their broth is bland. Not bad, just bland. The noodles and the steak are done well though. I think the worst part about this place is the price. This is a tourist town either way though. Neither the manager (owner?) who was occupying the largest table in the small eatery nor the person working behind the counter said hello when we entered. My boyfriend ordered a Bahn Mi and me some pho. Both looked slightly better than they tasted, although I will say the pho tasted better the next day. It was slightly out of the way with a small sign so it was a little difficult to spot. When the people behind us ordered 2 more bahn mi sandwiches, the guy working behind the counter audibly sighed (like it was an inconvenience for him to make those). My friends and I tried Pho Real on a Saturday night during our Breckenridge ski weekend. I'd rate it 4 stars compared to a city restaurant, and 5 stars overall for being in Breckenridge. 1. Great affordable food - A bit pricier than typical Pho restaurants ($10 to $12) but considering it's in Breckenridge, good deal. 2. Great Pho - the broth, meat, and ingredients were pretty good! 3. Great staff!! You could tell the staff liked working there and interacted well with each other as well as customers. They asked a lot of customers where they are visiting from. 4. Good variety in menu - Pho, sandwiches, salad rolls, Vietnamese coffee, beers... 5. Good location but small - It's on Main St (north end) and there's a public parking lot close by. Be warned that the restaurant is a bit small though. If you're skiing in Breckenridge and want a good casual affordable dinner, this is a great choice! Broth was a little watery, but still satisfies on a cold winter day. Noodles were terrible - they seemed a little undercooked (or maybe they were just a little too thick). Terribly overpriced $13 bowls of pho, and it only includes 1 meat. In comparison, any other joint's typical $8 bowl of pho with meatballs, brisket, tendon, tripe, rare steak, etc, will cost you around $20 at Pho Real. Typically Banh Mi (Viet sandwiches) are about half the price of what Pho Real charges, yet we still sprung for one. You'll need to be patient, as they take awhile to be made. The bread and meats were good, but instead of the special natural mayo (which I pay $10 per pint for back home), Pho Real uses a super-cheap-to-make mixture of watery mayo and Sri Racha. It's a crime that they charge this much, and they know they can get away with it due to their monopoly. With all of my complaining, would I come back? Yes, because sadly, I have got no other choice... When the next pho restaurant opens-up in Breck, you can expect Pho Real's prices to come down to their 2016 opening prices again. read more

Came here with my family and friends to introduce my mom to pho for the first time ever. Service was great and we brought our food outside. After our first few bites we were extremely disappointed. Without us saying anything Paytone came outside and told us that our batch of broth wasn't up to their standards and they wanted to remake it for us. She brought new bowls of Pho to us and they were incredible. Great to see an employee go above and beyond to make sure her customer's were happy. The family loved it and we'll be back soon. Honestly, this place is more on the expensive side for a bowl of pho 13.50 for a regular size. I got the regular size with rare steak. If you want more meat it is an additional 2$ for each one. The pho is decent but not worth the price. Unrelated, but their banh mi is 9$. Which is completely insane. Normally banh mi cost 3-6$. But 9?! I was offended when I saw that. If you want a quick bite near by, then sure pho real is the place to go. But if you have time to go around here in breck, there are other places that sell better tasting pho for a better price. read more

Ok experience. Flavours of the pho were nice, but nothing spectacular and it was warm not hot. Staff weren't very friendly either. Nice outdoor seating with views of the mountain. Got the small size which was a very decent serving size! I had chicken which was a bit dry, however my boyfriend had rare steak which he said was good. Probably wouldn't return. Edit in response to question below: came in on Wednesday 15th May at approx 7pm. When we were asking questions about the menu and drinks, we got one word responses and they seemed very uninterested. I love that it's a small place tucked away in the corner at the end of Main Street. Authentic and tasteful, and the staff is friendly. You can eat here or take it to go.
